    Scratches in my paint from dealer work

    Yesterday was the last time I will ever go to Wilde Subaru for any service. I used to think they were the best...until I had my last encounter that took several calls, several emails (which mainly went unanswered), 4-5 fixes over the span of 10 months before it was considered good enough; however to me, it's still mediocre work at best. After having to deal with this issue, I went back and thought about all the other times I went for simple oil change and rotation and it made me wonder how good they actually were. Why was my service always a different cost every time? And why did my husband get the same service on his car and his cost was considerable less? He also went to get a tire patched once and the tech put over 60psi into the tire which caused it to get a flat on the freeway the next day! Then he had to buy a new tire but the service advisor said "don't worry I will refund you the cost for the patch." Hello! The tire would've been fine for a patch, now I have to pay $300+ for a new tire because your guy overfilled the tire considerably. BTW, having the manager (Mike) involved makes no difference. He also doesn't answer emails or voicemail, or leaving a message with receptionist for a callback. He says he'll "see it out" until it's corrected, but he barely spoke to me but the one time in person for my initial complaint and one phone call, then he passed me onto someone else. If they claim they can do warranty work, don't count on it being right. I would use them again if they would've communicated better but instead they brushed me off in what feels like an attempt for me to give up and accept the crap work they did, being that my car was no longer under bumper to bumper and they would eat the cost of correcting their mistake. Oh yes, my part was on back order since August, now it's February...yet I get a message from the advisor "can you confirm the part?" Ummm, if it's on back order and I've gone 3-4x already then you would know because it's noted in my acct as well as there will be an order for it! Also, only got a message because I'd emailed them follow ups every month to ask what's going on with the repair/ back order. Their slogan says something about 10 out 10 stars and anything less is unacceptable. If there was an option for it, I would give them negative stars just from the lack of communication itself. I went to drop off my car and 2 people in front of me waiting to be seen; fine since it's late and after 5pm I don't mind waiting. Ohhh they had something to complain about, also not good praises on their service. One guy said never again. The other woman said she didn't want to drive to other side of town otherwise she wouldn't use them at all. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! We have 3 Subaru cars in our house. Never again. I told my husband and daughter to use a different dealer. We have been going somewhere else for our last services and the service has been great, costs are clear cut and they don't lie to us on what needs to be fixed. I don't care how far the other dealer is to my house. Adding to my frustration, they damaged several areas in my car. I brought this to their attention and they did nothing about it. The gasket on my door has a cut, they scratched my speaker on my door, they put scratches on the interior hard part of the seats on driver and 2nd row. My car was pristine and I take care of it. I bought it brand new and top model. To have so little care for someone else's property is disturbing.

    Customer Service: ***** Value: ***** Amenities: ***** Trustworthy: ***** Let me be totally transparent. I don't own a Subaru. I own an Acura and I have taken my Acura to Wilde Honda for a variety of service visits because my Acura is essentially a Honda and they are more reasonable than Acura of Brookfield. Let's be real. A tire rotation or an oil change on an Acura isn't any different to justify a 2 or 3 times cost difference. So, Wilde started to get my business. So when it was time to replace my tires, the service department said they can get me some of the best pricing around. What sets them apart from say Tires Plus or Discount Tire or a local tire shop is they always use OEM specific tires or recommendation that is held to the specs of the factory and design of the car. Other tire stores tend to push what they can get at a better price first.... Unless you know what you want. Most consumers look at price first so they typically push a tire that may not meet specs to get the sale. I told them what I was looking for and they came back with a price that was actually better than Tire Rack. I've purchased my last three sets of tires from Tire Rack so I was impressed with the price. Wilde campus in Waukesha has several brands all in one location, so when they sent me to Subaru, it didn't bother me as the tech that worked on my car was a master mechanic and has worked on Acura's before. First, the vibe at Subaru service is a lot different than any other brand that I have been to. It was a warm welcoming and almost laid back (much like the Subaru customers I guess!) When I arrived, I was greeted immediately by Kasey Kraus, the service writer. I mean immediately... before I got out of my car. I told her I had an appointment, she started the process and then handed me over to Curt Vossekuil who had all the paperwork started. Both Curt and Kasey was outstanding in terms of customer service, friendliness and professionalism. If you have read any of my other reviews, customer service is a huge factor in any of my reviews especially when it comes to retail but I also understand it is difficult to please everyone. Curt explained everything to me and what they are doing, they had a great device that I have not seen anywhere other than Wilde that checks your alignment right there in the check in bay (see my picture). Curt explained how long this would take and he was spot on. I was going to take the shuttle service but went to get coffee off site. Then came back and sat in their waiting room. Nice amenities, comfortable seating and plenty of tables to work at. The service writer then went over exactly what they did when they delivered my car, asked for questions and then even made a copy of my receipt for my rebate (to send in). Those are the little attention to details that I really appreciate in the customer service. The service manager, Kevin came out to check on things too. I noticed another review said how dirty it was in the waiting room. As I sat there for several hours, there was a cleaning person there cleaning the entire time. The rest rooms were clean and there was no garbage even on the table. Summary: outstanding service, friendly and professional staff. Great pricing and after a few weeks on my new tires, I am extremely satisfied with my Pirelli P Zero tires. If you need tires, I'd highly recommend you discuss it with a service writer and check out their prices.

    Took over 3 hours for an oil change. Shit is ridiculous. Could've done it myself in 20 minutes. Never go here

    I was referred to ETE by several people, one of whom is my father, who was a (now retired) mechanic…read moreby trade. Called to get the timing belt replaced on my Honda Pilot, but not before letting them know that I had received a lower quote elsewhere. Not only did they match that quote, but the communication was top notch, and they even followed up two months later to see how the car was running. I can tell you that Wilde Honda never did that. I will be going to ETE from now on. Very impressed with their customer service and level of expertise.

    I was experiencing transmission issues. Several people recommended ETE. I called the Waukesha…read morelocation. Voicemail. Left a message. They never called me. I called the location on S 27th St. They told me they don't make appointments. "Just drop off your vehicle and we'll get to it in a day or two." That was my first red flag. I dropped off my truck on Monday morning. I had not heard from them by Tues PM, so I called. They hadn't gotten to it yet. "We'll call you tomorrow." Wednesday, (day 3), still no call so I called them. They said their lead technician had already left for the day and would call me Thurs AM. Thurs AM....no call, so I called them. The STILL hadn't looked at the vehicle. They PROMISED they would test-drive it Friday and call me by noon. Noon came and went. No call. I called them. Voicemail. Finally, at 1:30 PM, I get a call. They test-drove it and said there was definitely a problem, (DUH, I knew that!) but their lead guy was gone for the weekend and didn't have a chance to look into it further. They graciously informed me that I could pick up my truck and bring it back Monday, and that I would not lose my place in line. I was already on my way to pick it up. When I got there, they asked if I planned to bring it back on Monday. I asked if they could promise me that they would get to it on Monday. They could not. Needless to say, I was irritated and incredulous. How can you run a business like this? They seemed to have no concept of the inconvenience it caused me not to have my vehicle for a FULL WEEK, and THEN, expect me to leave it with them AGAIN with no idea of when they would actually get to it! I wish they would have been honest and said they were too busy to get to it for a week or two. Instead, they worked everything to THEIR convenience instead of the customer's, and all I got was the run-around and excuses.

I interviewed a few by phone and Jim was my immediate choice just from a conversation. He inspected the car and gave a thorough explanation of problems, complete with the - "should fix", "can consider fixing" and the "lets wait on fixing, still some good life left" assessments. Exactly what I was looking for - confident, honest, and at a fair price. I highly recommend Nelson Automotive. You'll likely get Jim when you call!

    We needed our emissions tested on our vehicle. We chose Nelson's because it was close by and family…read moreowned. That was a *mistake*. The owner, Cindy, came up without wearing a mask. When asked about it, she stated "I don't need to do anything I don't want to." She then proceeded to get into OUR car WITHOUT a mask and do the emissions inspection. When confronted again about not wearing a mask when in an enclosed space in OUR personal car, the response was "I don't need to do anything I don't want to; the virus isn't airborne anyways." Obviously, that is factually incorrect, but I don't believe the owner cares. IF this business wants to conduct themselves in this manner, they should announce publicly "we don't respect you and will not wear masks". They are endangering the health, safety, wellbeing, and lives of others with these reckless actions - had we known this was their policy,, we would have taken our business elsewhere. Those that agree with the owners principles could still frequent the business, but those of us that believe the science should not be subjected to their ignorance. The state should also NOT be driving business (as an "approved" vehicle emissions inspection facility) to a facility that is FLOUTING the state's own mask mandate.
