    Mitch J.

I can confidently say this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. My wife and I were in the market for a used Prius, so we were searching on Craigslist and stumbled upon a used 2011 Prius that Auto House had listed. I had never heard of them before, so I called and talked with Tom who was very pleasant to work with. Since we are out of state I asked if the car was still available so we could make the 1.5 hour drive to come see it. He said it was and told me they would be happy to hold it for me while we drove up, which he did (someone even called for it while we were on our way). When we got there, Chris was there ready to help us. He was super friendly, professional, and used no pushy sales tactics whatsoever. It was actually really refreshing to feel like he was just a guy selling a car at a very fair price who wasn't out to get me. He let us test drive it, look over it in detail, and told us about the carfax and other details on the car. He was patient and gave us all the time we needed. We loved it after our test drive, so told him we wanted it and within literally 15-20 minutes we were out the door, driving home in our new used car. Easy, hassle-free, and would highly recommend. Will be checking their inventory next time we're in the market for a car!

Auto House Waukesha 1611 Lincoln Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186 Bought a 2015 Subaru Forester from Auto House. Read ALL the reviews before going. Tom likes to reply "Don't believe the bad reviews". So I include photos of the repair receipts below to prove my bad review of Auto House. If you read all the reviews on G00gle and elsewhere you will see numerous customers who had to spend thousands of dollars on repairs right after buying from Tom. Toms excuse is shit happens. More like shit is sold at Auto House Waukesha WI. My bad review is a couple months late because I was out of state and had left the receipts for all the repairs in WI. All repairs were done within a month of buying the car. So here are my details. Within a month after buying the Subaru I had to spend $3,240 on repairs! Starting with tires. I heard a sound coming from underneath the first week. Took it back and Tom drove it. Claimed it was cupping of the tires. Which on the Car Fax report it claimed Auto House had just mounted. Found out from Firestone that they were only for use in winter. Not safe for warmer weather. Bought the car in August. Had to get new tires from Goodyear ASAP. Next problem was the brakes. One caliper was stuck, grinding the pad almost to metal. Couldn't afford a new one so had it rebuilt. Rear rotors were bad and had to be replaced. As well as all pads. How did Auto House miss the frozen caliper and bad pads and rotors if they had mounted new tires? Was referred to Subaru dealership to figure out what the original humming, grinding noise was. First Subaru dealership found many things wrong but could not get me in for repairs soon enough. This included needing new plugs, control arm bushings, which I still can not afford to have repaired. Second Subaru dealership found bad front axle shafts. Made a clicking sound when turning. Humming, grinding sound was not fixed. Mechanics at 3 shops said it sounded like the transmission. Could not afford to get it fixed. Put down $9000 to buy the car. No funds left. Also had to change the differential fluid on Rear. Couldn't afford both. When you buy a car from a dealership you expect them to thoroughly inspect everything. $3,240 in repairs the first month after purchase is pathetic. Tom claims they always repair issues if found soon after purchase. Maybe doing a better job with the pre sale inspection would be a better idea. Once I found out the humming sound was not cupped tires, but most likely the transmission I lost trust for Auto House. With so many things found wrong a month after purchase I did not trust Auto House to fix the issues they should have found and repaired before the sale. I did not read all the reviews. Had I done so I never would of considered buying a car from Auto House. There are several issues that I still can not afford to have repaired. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Several other bad reviews contain complaints of thousands in repairs soon after buying from them. Tom blames the customer for not bringing them to his attention. Who would trust them after buying an unsafe vehicle?! Also do not believe the Car Fax report when buying a used car. I was told that many reputable places do not report to Car Fax. I was also told before buying the car that there were no accidents in the cars history. After buying it I found receipts in the glove box detailing an accident that cost over $4,000 to fix. Then noticed the hood was not seated evenly. How did Auto House miss the collision receipts in the glove box? Why did Tom tell me there had been no accidents? I will admit I should of been more thorough in my own inspection before buying it. I should have taken it to a Subaru dealership to check it out before buying it. This purchase has destroyed my savings. Destroyed my trust. Don't make the same mistakes I did trusting Auto House Waukesha.

All of the team was attentive to our needs, from management down and almost clairvoyant whenever we encountered additional requirements for the purchase. Once there, we were met by Acct. Exec. Sarah DePover. She showed us two cars she thought we might like and was very informative about each of the vehicles. She then encouraged us to take test drives of each, which we did. There are not a lot of used cars to chose from at this location, but Enterprise has stores all around the country and for a fee, one can have a vehicle shipped/driven in. We also became aware that one can basically "shop" for all Enterprise used cars on sale by way of their website, which will show all the vehicles they have for sale around the country. We accessed and perused the website after visiting the car lot and found the website very user friendly. We honestly can't say enough about how professional and knowledgeable Sarah was. She knows a lot about cars and is a true ambassador and asset for Enterprise, but it is her service oriented, upbeat, personable demeanor that makes us wish we could have found and bought our "dream car" from her.

We never heard anything and had to reach out when we returned to town and were told it was a miscommunication. Three more days go by and we receive no communication despite reaching out, and were told they did call when in fact they did not and then admitted they were having phone issues. While replacing the piece for the sunroof it was discovered more work was needed and a part would be needed. No problem I understand but we asked for a courtesy vehicle as we were now way past what we had planned for. They indicated they did not have one and said nothing when my husband inquired if Gensis could give us a courtesy. I finally called the general manager who was amazing and had a courtesy vehicle waiting. He acknowledged there was no communication about our vehicle. Upon getting our car back the sunroof as making an noise. We reach back out, our service advisor Alex said he would call us with a courtesy and appointment. We had to reach out again after a week. Upon picking up the courtesy and dropping off my car Alex was visibly annoyed and acted as if I was an inconvenience. Some lights turned on in the courtesy vehicle we immediately let Alex know with no acknowledgement. My car was finished in a few days and again went to pick it up with visible annoyance from Alex and felt like I was an issue, when they are the ones who did not install the sunroof correctly. I am very disappointed in the service and when Genesis and Hyundai where combined service center they provided amazing service. The lack of communication and acknowledgement about the concern was extremely frustrating, I would not be writing this review had we been properly communicated with. We will not be using Hyundai Waukesha anymore.

I thought my service agreement included 3 free oil changes and tire rotation, but I read my service agreement incorrectly and was informed that it didn't include tire rotation. However, Caleb did honor a 1 time courtesy for this which was greatly appreciated. Because I was the first one there it took about an hour. During the time I waited I enjoyed the free complimentary snacks and free coffee. I received a text of a video of everything they went over with my car and Caleb explained everything as well. I get there, do a test drive and agree to make the purchase. All was fine, so I thought. I get to the financing dept, and again I thought it was going ok. She kept me very engaged in conversation and was very proud of the fact she found a lender who dropped my interest rate by 3%. I too was very happy. she went over the sales contract rather quickly, which seemed ok to me at the time, because just prior to doing the financing, I specially told my salesperson I did not want any kind of extended warranty, etc.. so assumed the contract was straight forward. Stupid on my part for sure! The next day when I went over all the paper work, I see first there is a add-on charge for $2700 for a "dealer installed option" call XZilon a package deal I saw advertised all over the showroom. paint protection service. Never asked for it. Never told I was getting it!!!! did not get any kind of paperwork about it, etc... then a few lines down the contract I see yet another charge for $6100 for "service contract" NO clue what this is for. I specifically had said I did not want any kind of extended warranty, and again there was no mention of this charge, or what it was for. SO, I have $8,000 on my loan that was never explained...and whats even better. when I wrote my salesperson about it, she originally answered me, but with no answers, and now has completely stopped responding. I had a horrid experience with the Russ Darrow Kia dealership in Madison, about 25 years ago, and swore i would never deal with them again. But they had such a good price on the car I got this time, I thought certainly things had changed in that length of time. NOPE! They wont do anything about having the charges removed. I know they can send a check to my lender and have that amount taken off the principle, but hard to get that done when they are now ignoring me completely. I also was told in the dealership that I would get 6 free oil changes. (of course there is also a second service fee on my contract for $299 which I assume are my "free oil changes" A few days after purchase someone reached out to me via text saying that I had 3 free oil changes coming, and just to reach out via that text to schedule them when I needed them. I reached out questioning the missing 3 and of course, in true Russ Darrow dealership fashion, no response! Never again!!!!
