Yesterday I was stuck out at Point Reyes Station, because Lyft to changed their policy regarding…read morepick up times and Partnership, who handles all medical transportation for their patients neglected to tell me that the ride time was not at 4:15 but actually at 4:30. So when I got a notice saying the ride was going to pick me up at 4:15 and I was still in the exam room at my doctors office. Not wanting to make a driver wait and risk getting stuck with no ride, I canceled the ride. Unfortunately decision that created a chain of events that took three hours to deal with. Lyft has a tendency to not want to go out to West Marin anytime after 4 o'clock, which if you have a doctors appointment anytime between three and five you are not getting a ride home very easily even though Partnership contracts with Lyft on a regular basis and it's easy to get a ride out to west Marin, it's just not easy to get home. After multiple attempts to get me a ride with Lyft, as a last resort Partnership called you guys and you guys advised me that a ride would be coming in an hour to pick me up. Of course my phones battery started dying so that was another issue on top of the no pick up issue and my being disabled and in chronic pain and not able to get to my meds which were at home, it was a pretty shitty way end to the day. Just after 7pm a woman pulls up in a nice looking car she hops out , announces her name, makes sure she's dealing with the right person. I notice she's got the heater going because it was freezing out there, then she pulled up the front passenger seat to allow my legs to have more room because my legs don't work very well. The driver was absolutely amazing. Her name is Lynn and the minute we got in the car and started taking off it's like we had known each other for years we talked about places we had lived, how much we loved nature, how some people are denser than a box of rocks How Partnership and Lyft routinely abandon people that they're supposed to be making sure they get rides to and from medical appointments. I am an ex law-enforcement officer and police dispatcher and I can say that Lynn was a great driver!! She was attentive, she was courteous, she was safe as a driver and she was a great conversationalist. I asked her for her business card when I got home because if I need your services outside of Partnership you can bet I'm going to be calling you guys!!!! I will also pass your company's name around to my friends who live in the Santa Rosa area where Lynn currently lives. Great fun on the way there but when we sat down, I got nervous about the walk home. I called Redwood taxi and left a message. Just moments later I got a call back and set up a ride for after dinner. He told me to call him when we would be ready. I did and he showed up a couple minutes later to "rescue" us. :) We seriously need to support having this local service. Partnership Healthplan of California had sent me up with a Lyft ride to go out to Point Reyes from East Marin, which was fine. Partnership also scheduled a Lyft ride for me to go back home, and Lyft never showed up. They didn't say sorry we're not interested, they just went dark!! So after over an hour and a half of waiting, I called Partnership told them how awesome Hay taxi was last time I was abandoned in West Marin, and sure enough within an hour, The Hay taxi driver came out of the middle of nowhere, Picked my sorry ass up and took me home...door-to-door baby!! Again, the driver was awesome. She make sure to push the seat up for me because I've got bad legs and we had a great time talking about our wonderful great state of California on the arrogant apathetic doctors who live and practice here. This will be the last time LYFT strands me in West Marin because I am going to ask for the Hay taxi people to start with for my ride hime from now on. Your peeps are the bomb. Thank you.

Hay Taxi is by far the best medical transportation company that I've experienced. They are the…read morethird company that I was assigned to through my insurance, for medical transportation. It's rare for a transport company to be as considerate as they are. One driver in particular, Ana, is consistent, reliable, and a great driver. I've had bad anxiety in the past riding with drivers from other companies. That fear was only compounded when I voiced concern, and was ignored. Luckily that is a thing of the past... Every time Ana is my driver, she takes it upon herself to contact me when she is on her way, to inform me of her location, and her ETA. Ana listens when you have a suggestion, and will happily take it upon herself to try and accommodate. Her personality is so refreshing. Especially early morning when most people are grumpy. She is an excellent driver, always alert and attentive, all while friendly and smiling. You can tell that she is comfortable behind the wheel, and that confidence makes it possible to sit back and relax. Thank you!
