This was a place to land with water, sewer and electric but that was about it. I honestly wouldn't waste your money here because there are 3 other parks at the same exit that look much much nicer. To start with, RPI (Resort Parks International) listed their check in hours from 9am-6pm Sun-Saturday. We arrived at 11am on Sunday to check in after 2 long days of travel and there was a sign on the door that said check in was not until 1:30pm. It also said go to spot A4 to visit Jerry if you have issues. So we attempted that and no one was there either. So we finally get checked in. The clubhouse/check In was really old and rundown. There was a pool up front but it was out of season but also looked run down. We finally get back to our spot and it was a tight one. There was space for the 44 foot 5th wheel and the truck parked sideways and the car had to be on the road and on top of the truck. We get parked and take a walk around and the park was extremely run down. There were tons of really really old campers with torn up awnings and junk and trash all around the campers. There were old campers parked in the grass near a shed with some more junk and a huge pile of garbage bags full of leaves or pine needles. There aws a super strange spot in the back near E9 where someone had used plastic bottles and all kind of other junk to make their super weird walking path through the woods. Very very old and trashy. People were speeding through the park super fast back by our spots which was super frustrating and annoying having dogs and kids. I think a lot of the people here live here full time. Also their Propane was $7 per gallon!!!!! Which is absolutely insane! - I recommend driving 15 minutes down the road for closer to $3 per gallon propane at Bloosman Propane Gas and Appliance (Robertsdale, AL) I was super annoyed at the owner/management - he came by in his car to tell us that we needed to move our car out of the empty spot and that we were not supposed to have a dog fence and it needs moved. That was not disclosed to us upon arrival and check in and honestly I think its ridiculous that I am not allowed to have a dog fence out but the amount of trash and junk laying around the park is ok. The office is friendly and prompt to replying to calls. The rates are very reasonable. The restrooms are updated and clean. The location is between major cities so it's relatively quiet yet not too far from cities or beaches. It rained quite a bit but didn't puddle up due to good drainage. The trash is only allowed near the front entry which is difficult if you have limited mobility. The roads are packed gravel and old blacktop. It's sufficient as long as you drive slowly. We were able to enter safely in the dark and traverse the whole park despite many large trees. read more

If you want quiet, lots of shade and easy access to I-10, this is it. The host was very nice. He gave a great deal and saved me money. It has a pool , fishing, and Wi-Fi. The lots are grass with no patio or picnic tables, but very well kept. You are close to Mobile and Pensacola via I-10. read more

This place is a dump. We pulled in and there was nobody in the office which isn't so unusual in smaller parks, a map with our site number was left on a table inside. The road in the park is terrible and full of ruts so our RV was rattling terribly, the site itself was so uneven that our back tires would not hit the ground (we have a 40ft diesel pusher). We were told we would have a pull through but it was a back in. They advertised all pull through sites. The water was off because a plumber was working on the next site over. There are a lot of permanent residents who's lots were very unkempt. Can you say junkyard? Still nobody at the office. I'm leaving one star based on a veteran who was in residence that tried to help find us a different location and the nice man next to us that was friendly. After several hours there was someone in the office, I expressed our unhappiness and told them I had no intention of paying for the site. This park is a Passport America park so the price was right. It is as the name suggests, Wilderness. There are many trees and the grounds look clean yet rustic. The laundry room is tiny but meets basic needs. Fishing ponds are available and while there are a few long term residents, it is a quiet park. 15 minutes to the nearest Walmart but there is an awesome diner right up the road. Owner was friendly and we enjoyed a potluck dinner in the main room with other campers/rv'ers. This is not an RV Resort but a basic, good country park. Needs some improvements as others have stated, but we would stay again if passing through. read more

This place did what we expected. It's a campground. We are full time in the rv and stayed here for 9 days. I called ahead of time to request a spot in the shade because it 90* here in the Summer and they made the arrangement with no problem. There's lots of shaded lots and there's a couple stocked ponds on site for the boys to fish. I thought the bathrooms were great! they've obviously been redone with granite counters and everything. They were clean. Internet has the option for streaming speeds which was nice. A lot of places don't offer that. There's a lot of different wifi to connect to because they have them all over the park. You can tell they want you to have access. There are some lots here that are full time. They're older and are kept to one area. The neighbors we had were full time. They were very friendly and even invited us over for coffee. Overall, good stay. Would sleep here again. read more

We came in under RPI. This park is very rustic. Roads are really rough and the foliage next to the roads needs to be trimmed. Rubs against the top & sides of the RV. We came in on a Thursday and they had just went through a storm the previous Saturday. This may account for the rough roads. The storm twisted 2 large trees down and broke several limbs & tops off. They're doing a great job of cleaning it up. The sites they put us in are at least 65 ft long but they are very narrow. The people here are very nice. We would return. read more

It gets 2 only because it has good electricity. But the upkeep sucks. The grass needs to be tended. The laundry facilities could use a good cleaning out of webs and bugs. The picnic tables look like they are on their last legs. Some of the sights have plastic bottles instead of caps on the sewage hookups. It just looks tired and worn out. Some of the trailers look like they should be in the graveyard for trailers. On the plus side the price is good and as I said the electrical output is strong enough to run both air conditioners. And the tv reception is good enough that we don't need to set up our satellite dish. Will I be back? Doubtful. read more

I would not recommend this Campground. Pot Holes. Roads are too narrow. Sites are too close. When it rains the sites flood and are muddy. Grass is not maintain. Smells of raw sewage also. Pool was shut down due to non maintenance. Pool closes at 6 pm. Pavilion is dilapidated. Bathroom are not Handicapped Accessible. Showers have no Handrails the small ledge is only big enough for a child to sit has very sharp edges. Camp Host doesn't do his job on running the Campground correctly. Certain people get away with breaking the rules. Long Term people Bad mouth you behind your back but nice to your face. There is a clique with only certain people allowed in. To many people running the show there. You get what you pay for. You are allowed to be harassed by Management. read more

Wilderness is a good name for this park. I read on the reviews that the park didn't have paved roads two years ago. So I called to find out if they had paved now and was told they did. I was told we wouldn't have any problem driving in. We made reservations but arrived after the office had closed. There was no note or check in info for us but to see site A2 to check in. The camp host wasn't at his home and we ended up driving past the turn he wanted us in. We had to go around the entire campground. Had to back up in the weeds. These roads were so bad, uneven and you could tell they had been washed out from rain. There were trees real close to the road. We were worried we would hit them. The next day we checked in after 10am, the time we were told to look for the camp host. No campground directory offered. They site had gravel but it was grown over with grass. Perimeter roads are rough graveled. Interior roads are packed dirt. WIFI is non existing. Never could get on in the three days we were there and the repeater was just across the street from us. They do sell propane for a pretty hefty price. There is a CAMPING WORLD 15 miles south of campground that can save you $1.50 per gallon with. Sam's Club membership. Park is very quiet. Lot of permanent residents. Lot of "older run-down" campers. Had reservations for 6 days but left after 3. There are 2 ponds at the campground. There was a strong smell of sewer most of the time.
