Almost all the tables were full, so we chose to sit at the end of the bar, almost full of take out boxes (usually a good sign). The menu was full of your bar favorites, but included variations and suggested offerings. I liked the options in sides, burger lb sizes, sandwich and starter options- which catered to our groups diverse palate. The staff were busy, but had character, were nice and honest in opinions when engaged about their menu. I took the bartenders suggestion to have the Guiness Burger, scrapped the chips for curly fries with ranch dressing, and had a side salad to start. Everything was fresh and crispy, and picturesque lol. Came out, as if they were made in a tester kitchen. The place was real clean, inviting and the beer selection in the cleanly lit beer coolers were tempting- had we not had a long trip ahead of us. Maybe we will stop by on our way back to try more. They had cheese, chicken and steak options on their quesadillas. I asked if they could do grilled shrimp instead. "YEP" It was the largest, chunkiest, tastiest quesadilla I've ever had! They tossed in sour cream, salsa and pico without batting an eye or adding cost to it. I asked the gal that emerged from the kitchen if she was the chef. She was indeed the saint who made my quesadilla, so I was able to let her know I had just consumed the nectar of the Tex/Mex gods in her offering. The bartender/my server was the nicest, most easy going person ever. He could be selling airplanes for Boeing but somehow he's here doing his craft. I've traveled the US and have gone to literally hundreds of sports bars/restaurants etc. It's hard to describe when you don't encounter a negative person or scene in any conversation or request. It's next door to the hotel and when we went it wasn't so busy that we were ignored but they staff were certainly being kept on their toes (Father's Day weekend, graduations, hotel guests...). The salmon was apparently wonderful too, from what my partner said. And I ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu but it was huge. My baby loved it and since it was so huge there was too much for her, so I had the rest at a later time. They had a really good strawberry lemonade, of which we (my daughter and I, because of course she had to have some) drank several glasses. Our server even brought me a to-go cup of it because she said it looked like we were slowing down and may be near finishing. I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. But perhaps my favorite part of the meal were the appetizers. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! But even with that, it was a pleasant evening, the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the food totally hit the spot.
