Poor quality work recieved tonight on a very simple three line tattoo. Lines are all distorted, some pointed and some round. Picture privided specifically indicated pointed lines. Horrible experience. Got dimple piercings done by a young guy named Sean Michael. Kind of rude from the beginning made me feel uneasy. Didn't even know where dimples should be placed. Didn't use a clamp. Bars were so short when I had them removed other piercers had never even seen any that short before. They should have been longer for room for the swelling to go down. Messaged him the next day after I got them with my concern and his response was very rude and he proceeded to tell me to go ask another piercer. I didn't see any other dimple piercings done on his Instagram so I asked if he had done this before and he couldn't even answer the question like a professional should have been able to do until I asked multiple times. The swelling and pain became unbearable but he told me they were fine. They were not. I took very very excellent aftercare so the complications were not on my end they were because of how poorly done the piercings were. They ended up sinking completely into my face and closing over on both ends. Pus began to leak out and I couldn't recognize myself from the severe swelling. Had to end up going to three different hospitals at 2 AM who told me they couldn't do anything about it so I had to go to a tat and piercing shop that was open until 3 AM to get them pried out of my face and force new ones in. This experience was traumatic and made me heavily regret getting these piercings. Sean Michael at WildLife tattoo is all to blame and he couldn't even be nice about basically ruining my face. Hope he learns how to pierce properly or at least this can help prevent someone from getting their face destroyed and left with a bunch of medical bills to pay because of someone's shitty work. I went to get another piercing in my eyebrow with Randy I ended up getting 2.. the staff is so friendly I met Carlos he's the owner I saw some of his drawings they were incredible the price was reasonable and there's good parking. I have to honestly say out of all the work I've had done and the different shops I've been to i was most at ease here ceelos the owner personally did my tattoo an eye of ra on my back and lower neck what i appreciated most was that he was totally ok with me taking breaks and wanting to stop to see the progress being done I've had experiences where tattoo artist had gotten upset for me stoping them but he was ok as long as i was comfortable. I was really debating writing this review simply because the owner was so nice to us but aside from that we had a horrible experience at this tattoo shop last night. I came in along with 3 of my friends to take advantage of their Friday the 13th deal. We arrived about 8pm and we put our name on their list. I then notices some friends waiting for their tattoos they tell me that they been waiting for 4 hours and that they keep getting skip because they were sitting outside. So we all decide to sit inside to make sure we don't get skip as well. My friends finally get called they get there tattoos and leave. At this time it's already about 10pm and my boyfriend decides to check the list to see how many more people were ahead of us we were next! We see who I believe is the owner looking over the list and my boyfriend lets him know our place in the list. He tells him he will let the artists know we were next. From this point everything goes down hill. As we are waiting we notice more and more people getting called up to get tattooed btw these are people who came after us. I'm telling my frustrations to my boyfriend in a private conversation when the piercer decides to butt in and rudely explain to us that the tattoo artist are over worked and haven't even had lunch yet. I completely agreed with her. There was no doubt that they were busy!! The waiting wasn't the issue the issue was that we keep getting skip time and time again. One of the tattoo artist then comes out and asked us if an artist has spoken to us we told him no but we were next on the list he acknowledged our statement and still took in another couple. Ok. He then tells the piercer who is on her way out to redo the list and to get everyone organized. She then goes around about three different times asking everyone the same questions each time she came to us we notice we keep getting bumped down. The third time she approached my boyfriend noticed she had put us LAST on the list!! We keep explaining to her that we didn't care who was our artist but that we had been now waiting for 3 hours and we had been next now for about hour and there's no way we should be at the bottom of the list. She then goes to tell us repeatedly that if wanted to we could LEAVE! We weren't asking for special treatment but simply to follow the order of list which if you guys weren't going to do from the jump then why make a list? Well the piercer kept arguing with us letting us know that the people who had only been waiting about 20 minutes knew the artists and because of that they get to go first! WHAT! We knew at this point we weren't going to get tattooed anytime time soon so my friends and I decided to stop arguing with her because clearly she didn't not understand what we were saying and we leave, my boyfriend decided to talk to who once I again we believe is the owner not 100% sure. He is the only one who seriously seem concern and tried to help us. He apologizes to bf and tells us to come back tomorrow and he will honor their Friday the 13th prices. Once we left, I notice I have a few miss calls from my friends who were previously there they tell us to leave before getting tattooed because his artist went to harsh on him causing him to bleed a lot and that he believes the artist was under the influence. Of course I can't say 100% but that what my friends told me. We won't be coming back and I wouldn't suggest anyone to. Although the owner was nice he should really consider either retraining his piercer on customer service or hire someone who actually knows how to speak to their guest. The only reason this review is getting 2 stars is because of him. read more

It was a great experience for someone who has been a shy about getting tattoos in terms of what do you do when you walk in. Came in with my own artwork/ideas and told Randy (Randizzle Tatts) what I wanted and he was super helpful. He was able to get the artwork I brought in exactly how I had drawn it myself. He also did a realistic hummingbird from a picture and the colors are super vibrant and he totally nailed the realistic look despite how small it was going to be. I recently went in and got my nipples pierced and I am so pleased with how they turned out, it's only been a month and they have healed so well. Jocelyn was the piercer and she did a great job... she also took her time with me which was awesome. In addition to piercing me she also took the time to help me out with switching out my tragus rings and she helped my friend switch out her belly ring at no charge. I'm in town for some family stuff. I grew up here, but live in Portland, OR. I have been planning to get a particular tattoo for a while, but haven't had the time. To just drop into a Tattoo shop on the virtue of Yelp reviews is certainly a risk. But the vibe in this place made me feel immediately at ease, with lots of original artwork on the wall, cool music, etc. While Efraim got my image ready, I chatted with the proprietor, and it was a great talk. This is a guy who is concerned with the environment and wants to use his business do things to help it, which means a lot to me. Efraim worked consistently and confidently. The ink went behind my left ear, and he had me lie face down on the table which seemed odd but actually was really comfortable. We talked about a lot of stuff, and really I'm always that person who doesn't talk to people, just sits silently, but everyone there was so friendly I felt like I was hanging out with my friends. Final judgment of course is the work, and I have to say, it's bomb. Once I get home I'll take a pic and add it here, but Efraim knocked it out of the park. It's exactly what I wanted. I have another piece of work I want done. Portland is filled with great artists, but frankly, I'm coming back to town in August and I think I'll wait and head back to Wildlife! read more

Great place. My wife got her first tattoo there today and Greg did an amazing job. He's not an outspoken guy but he certainly tells you everything you need to know. I mention this because a few of the negative reviews said that the tattoo artist didn't tell them much. Here's a hint to those reviewers: if you have a question, ASK! My wife and I asked Greg a ton of questions and he was super patient and thorough in answering them. During the tattooing, he was really friendly and outgoing. He really took his time to make sure the tattoo came out right. In the end it was perfect. He thoroughly explained how to care for the tattoo for the next few weeks and explained to us several times that if the ink started fading anywhere that they'd touch it up for free. He also spent a lot of time making sure that everything was clean prior to beginning the tattooing. Overall a great experience. I'd recommend this place to anybody, especially first timers. read more

Love this place! I went in knowing I wanted a color tattoo, I was kind of nervous it being my first color one. I met with ceelos(owner) he asked me what I wanted he then drew it out for me. Wildlife is an awesome place one of the top places to go in the valley to get tatted. I felt so comfortable there and I got tatted by Raul a few times and he is just unbelievably amazing. I've never gone here for a tattoo, but I always come here for my piercings. The guy who runs the piercing section is named Poncho and is super nice and pretty reasonably priced. You probably need to call in advance for an appt because poncho also runs another piercing shop in woodland hills or west hills. I was playing with my room piercing and stupidly took it out and it closed up. I called in and poncho was nice enough to drive from his other store to winnetka to pierce me ( for no charge, might I add). None of my piercings have ever been infected. I recommend read more
