It is a pretty place but over crowded with permanent RV trailers not a lot of nice sites for temporary seasonal, it's taken with already older people holding on to their sites from previous years, unfortunately. In the summertime it is great having the pool, it closes sometime in Sept. Management - has certain people in the park who she goes out of her way for and others she doesn't treat everyone with the same, I had asked some people I became friends with is she always like this? They commented Yes. I've heard by several people and it's happen to us as well, in the park once you stay for a couple of months, I had asked if we could move do to our unit to not being near trees but in the open where the sun is too hot, we asked it we could move because there was a few openings and she said no and yet very next day a guy moves from in his spot to another location. I am a happy individual, I sosialize with quite a few people and don't cause problems. I've kept quite for some time and now I believe everyone should know, if you want to be a permanent. Plan on staying on 1 spot they will not move you if you ever want a nicer spot. We wore told when we got in the RV park we could move once a spot opens up, well that was a blatant lie. Also The year before there was huge flooding to the point it covers the sewer under trailer, a lot of individuals in the park I heard had moved out because of it. I just found this out and I don't want to be flooded, that was another reason for us to leave. Our hydro was just under $200 for a month and some people have had up to of what I was told by them as I'm still friends, some got $200-500 per month it fluctuates, not including rent in which that is $550.00 + {year 2019} Management was going to over charge us $1000.00 for hydro and then we pointed out to her that was not us but the neighbors, I don't know what is going on but that's ridiculous, my house has never been that - I have a home else where as well. The owners that actually own the place seem to be nice people but they need to change Management to someone else, Management acts like she owns the place, no regard for how she treats others, she came across nice in the beginning then when she is in a bad mood she takes it out in others, I have asked other people in the RV park is this normal, some have told me yes. The cave was used in the Rambo First Blood movie .. and there were two other films that used the campground. The campsite was clean. There was a nice playground and covered picnic area. Just at the entrance of the grounds was a fabulous Italian restaurant. (highly recommend) . The Manager was very friendly and accommodating. The campsite is just down the road from the city of HOPE (with many film locations from Rambo First Blood movie).

They were located in a quiet neighbourhood in Hope far from the hassle and noise from the town centre. The room was very clean though it was a bit old. There were nutrition bars with coffee in the room which was good enough to skip the breakfast. If I travel the town again, I definitely stay in that motel again.

This was a first time experience, and being out & about so early that morning, we chose not to venture too far into, or around the property this time, for fear of disturbing sleeping staff and guests. Although short in time, and nature of visit, we were still able to enjoy many lovely sights & sounds of the property's location and setting -- mountain, forest, and water views, and the many birds active (at that time of day) on the river, and within vegetation growing near, and on the banks of the river) == and wonderful water refections at that quiet, calm, and still start to morning that day. Just wish I had taken more pictures to share! We did not get to tour most of the property, but did get a first-time taste of some of what it has to offer the RV traveller to Harrison Hot Springs, and we sure liked what we saw.

We went to the Ferndale Public Library often to connect. I wish the park (which is aware) posted that there was no Verizon cell there. They are also aware that their WIFI is horrid. We are used to park WIFIs being a joke, but with no cell service, it was a difficult stay for us to keep in touch with loved ones and other contacts. If these issues don't matter to you, the park is very nice, clean, and a good location.

During our stay,…read morehowever, wildfires were active in the region, a Red Flag Warning was in effect, and the air quality reached the "Very Unhealthy" range. The conditions became a genuine health and safety concern, and we decided we could no longer safely remain. I explained the situation to the owner, who sounded very understanding and even mentioned medical issues in her own family. We planned to leave the next day, but when the park lost power that evening, we decided not to spend the night without air conditioning in the heavy smoke and left. About 30 minutes later, the owner texted that power had been restored. A couple of days later, after seeing no refund, I contacted her. She offered a three-night credit toward a future stay. I thanked her but explained that we live on the East Coast and could not realistically use it, and asked instead for a refund of the three completely unused nights that followed our departure. We did not even ask for a refund for the night we left, despite not spending that night there. She never responded. I followed up again several days later and again received no response. We did not leave because our plans changed or because we disliked the park. We left because the conditions had become a health and safety issue. I do not blame Pine Near for the wildfires, smoke, or power outage, but I could find nothing in its published policy stating that guests who must leave early under dangerous natural conditions forfeit payment for all unused nights. The park also appeared only about half occupied during our stay. Policies and profits matter, but health, fairness, compassion, and common sense should matter more. We made every reasonable effort to stay and even accepted paying for the night we left. Keeping our money for three additional nights we could not safely use--and then ignoring two requests to reconsider--was unacceptable. For that reason, I cannot recommend Pine Near.

Check in and out was easy and smooth.wr always recommend this place to people for a quite but fun get away. We loved staying in the greenhouse this winter. It was perfect for 4 adults and two kids. The third room (no pictures) had a bunk bed and one twin bed. There were two fridge/freezers. And even in unit laundry machines. Living room tv has internet connectivity so you can log into your apps. The huge couch was great for all of us to be able to hang out together.

Featuring 25 full hookup sites, each professionally landscaped and with its own picnic table, the sites here are large, level, and you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbors. Most of the sites were back-in, but there are a few pull-through sites too. The on-site bathroom is not only one of the nicest campground restrooms I've ever visited, it's one the nicest restrooms I've ever visited in general. There's also a small coin-op laundry area, utility sink, and even a water bottle filling area inside. The park was clean and quiet during our two night visit. It's also just a few minutes walk (or a level bike ride) to several restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely be adding this to our regular weekend getaway rotation! I definitely recommend getting a reservation, as the park appeared completely full this weekend.

We stayed for three (3) nights and every night we wanted to stream something and relax but it was so frustrating that we just gave up. There seem to be folks living there - this is common we are finding - and their rigs can be a little rough looking but it didn't affect our stay. It's in Marblemount which is tiny but has some stores and one restaurant. The only concerns we had were 1) our neighbor who we think lived there but was never present ran their AC 24/7 which caused our electricity to turn off when we used our AC. The camp hosts were helpful in responding to this but with two rigs using one 30 amp power station it was a little dicey. 2) We were in space 17 with a 37 ft class A. This was an oddly situated space as when we had neighbors on one side we faced each other so that our picnic table fire pit etc were not separated by either of our RVs. This was kinda challenging for privacy and was especially challenging as both of us had dogs that we liked to hook up outside. This was impossible as the dogs could watch to each others sites while hooked to their long leashes. This caused us to stay inside our rv for the last few days of our stay. But for camp hosts friendliness, work ethic and helpfulness it should get 100 stars !!!

Upon arrival, they gave us a different site with 30 amps vs 50, in a spot that felt like an afterthought (site 36). After backing in, we were facing the opposite direction from our picnic table & sitting area. Now we would have to sit & relax next to our sewer, hook ups & 2 slides. Ended up the power box at our site didn't work, which was ridiculous in 100 degree weather. Luckily, we had an extension cord that plugged into an unused 50 amp box nearby, as suggested by the manager. We left the next morning, 3 days early, with no refund for the broken power box they provided us with. After telling us that the place was completely booked, they offered us a new site. We were not interested at that point in continuing our stay here.

Greetings from Site #40…read more We are very much enjoying our stay... July 30 - August 6 at Moon Shadows. The hosts are friendly. The campground is clean and quiet which is very much appreciated. The water pressure is good and we have had no problem with the 20 amp service so far. Wifi has been good too. The site is situated in a way that gives us sun in the morning and shade later in the day. A stone's throw from the river makes this an ideal spot for rest and relaxation.

This day-use, picnic site - located across the highway from Sasquatch Provincial Park - provided a…read morelovely, quiet spot along Harrison Lake for us to spend some quality time befor heading into Harrison Hots Springs for a stay last week. It was too early to attempt a check-in there, and we had remembered how much we enjoyed doing the same here a couple years ago. It worked out perfectly. We arrived from Hope in the still 'early' morning, and enjoyed some self-made sandwiches and beverages for a sort of breakfast/brunch, and absorbed all the natural sights and sounds. The latter included many birds (several ravens, hawks, and various ground birds), and the Lake itself -- for a couple of hours. The whole, main picnic area in the Park was ours for the entire stay. A morning, very pleasant, and much-enjoyed stop. Would I like it there when crowded with families - no - but for us, on this early, weekday morning, it was a lovely, natural treat to a portion of our time away from home last week.
