I showed up the next day and the fellow who owns the place, Mike I think, was there and was super helpful. He checked out the body, put it up on the lift and checked all the mechanical infrastructure and then we took it on a test drive for a few miles. He pointed out a few key things that needed work but overall gave it a great rating for the money and the vehicle. Armed with the knowledge Mike provided, I offered $500 less than asking and got it. Based on my experience, I think it highly likely, if you are looking for a good, honest mechanic, you won't go wrong here. Even though I live far away I am tempted to make the trip for upkeep. Finding a mechanic you trust is like finding a great doctor or lawyer - once you have - stick with them.
