I have a Volvo S80 and my last set of tires were good, but when I turned my wheel completely left or right, the car would jerk and stammer a bit. I noticed it mostly in parking garages, pulling into tight spaces. I figured it was a matter of my car being older and never thought more of it. Finally, as my tire treads wore down, I ordered Pereli's and Googled "tire installation" where I found Tread Connection and talked to Jay. Jay showed up the next morning, on time, totally pleasant, and installed, aligned and balanced my tires, right in my driveway. Convenience was all I was after, not imagining anything else. When it came time to pay, Jay remarked that the torque on my tires was insanely high, like 4x what it should have been. I figured it was competitive bullshit. "Yup, sure, that's interesting. Thanks." It's been a couple of weeks now and I finally just realized that the car handles better than ever and that the jerky movement when the wheel was fully turned is gone. Since most tire shops don't allow customers to use the waiting rooms due to COVID I decide to give mobile tire install a try. All I can say is I am never going to ever bring my car to the typical tire installation shop. Jay was prompt and extremely friendly. He went way above just installing my tires, he even cleaned the rust off the hub assembly. That's something he wasn't required to do, but he takes pride in his work and I really appreciated it. Oh, this was awesome. I had heard about this coming to the area and decided to give it a shot. I needed to have my summer tire switchover done so I called these guys and made an appointment. Jay was great- our appt was for 10 am, at 9:45 he texted to let me know he'd be in my driveway within 10 minutes.
