Rehabilitation Facility! When 5 of us visited our friend and family member last week. We all came down with an extreme Stomach Virus. Two of us were hospitalized. It lasted over 7 days. Today I find our friend was rushed to Virtua Hospital with low BP and a Viral Infection. I called and asked for a person in charge. A very rude Woman picked up and when I told her they should have Quarantine it and closed it Visitors. She started hedging and said they fixed it. How dog fox a speeding Virus. Then when I questioned her about my Uncle. She said she knew nothing about that. His Caretaker has who has Cancer has called several times and has never gotten a straight answer. In Fact Physical Therapist called him this week and said he has make a decision by March 18 to remove him or put him in the Nursing Home there. Why the PT and not a Doctor or Social Worker. After this I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is the worst facility you could choose for your loved one - the night nurses leave patients in their own mess, never changing them Rooms are dingy and disgusting - food Is horrible and non nutritious I have been in touch with my attorney to file charges of patient neglect These people need to be stopped - not a place you want to put your loved one In my mothers new facility , Mount Holly Rehabilitation and Care Facility, for which she gets superb care, several of the employees used to work at Care One and expressed the same deplorable conditions which caused them to leave I am calling for this facility to be shut down for patient neglect I have contacted my colleague and now State Senator to investigate conditions here and in their Moorestown location I got a call from their VP of Clinical who was going to follow up - still waiting to hear read more

The place reeks of pee and poop. The rooms have ants crawling around. People are screaming for help through the hallways. The food is terrible. My Dad had to go up the chain just to get the physical therapy he needed and care he deserved. He had to constantly ask for maintenance to fix his bed that was broken. I'd still never recommend anyone to go here. It was truly awful for my Dad and broke my heart every time I had to leave him. read more

I had no choice but to select one star. This place is the worst place ever. My wife was transferred there on 4/3 and got there at about 10:15 got her settled. My wife is a type 2 diabetic her lunch came and she never got her insulin prior to eating. She just had spinal surgery and was in pain she asked for pain meds at roughly about 12:15 and they never brought it and all they kept saying was one minute. Dinner time came she asked her nurse for her insulin shot and the nurse stated you don't need it your ok. She ate her dinner and with an hour she was close to 300 and it's now 6:30 and she still never got get pain medication. By 7 ish she was starting to get anxiety and by 7:30 911 was being called Because her anxiety got the best of her and she started having server chest pains and her blood pressure was through the roof. I went there this morning to speak with some receptionist says they are all in a meeting. Social worker came out spoke to me briefly but no compassion about and asked if I would discuss my concerns with the nursing director would I reconsider bringing her back. Over my dead body. ¡¡¡NEW STAFF NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!!! This place is very unprofessional and do not take the right care for their patients. My grandmother has told me how her experience is affecting with her mental. Sometimes I would buy her food and they'd bring it to her 1 hour later. Most nurses (not all of them) give you attitude when you talk to them. As I recently admitted my mother to CareOne Assisted Living in Evesham they have been nothing but professional and caring people. They came and picked up my mother to ease her anxiety and after her admission there were numerous people who came up to see her including doctors, nurses, care staff, aides....they have been extremely helpful putting me and my sister at ease during this difficult decision. And to put my mom at ease. If they continue to do this then I will know we made the right decision read more

A one star is too high! Do NOT send your loved ones if you want them taken care of for recovery! My mother laid on the floor for over an hour with no help. One employee refused to help my mom to the bathroom. Unacceptable!! read more

care was so poor. only got my aunt out of bed 45 a day. the lunch person had spilled coffee on her sheets and no one changed them. she had wet sheets. I changed them the next day when I came in. the staff was terrible. didn't introduce themselves when entering a room. just wanted to get in and out. social worker refused to see us until we said we were taking her out. this is more like a nursing home than rehab. read more

I am not one to fill out surveys, but, I recently referred my friend to Care One as she was in search of rehab following a hospital visit for her Mom. It reminded me I never really sent a thank you to the Staff. I cared for both of my parents for 10 years (their twilight years) in my home. They had many trips to the hospital which required them to have rehab prior to coming home. Never a question that our number one choice was Care One. In addition, when I took respite to travel with my family, my parents first choice over care at home was to go to Care One. The staff was kind, attentive, on top of my parents needs and as a caretaker I was at ease knowing my parents were at their home away from home. read more

This is a review of the CareOne Rehab Section. Had to post it here as CareOne Rehab doesn't have there own comment section. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! PLEASE READ!!!!! My FIL was brought into the rehab section of CareOne Evesham directly from the hospital after a stroke. Me and my family visited him every day during his stay and spent hours at time with him, so we saw first-hand how the facility operates. We saw the care provided in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and on weekends and feel compelled to share our experience as we don't want to see anyone else experience what we did. My FILs condition required assistance with eating (not to be fed, but assistance), assistance with walking to the bathroom and assistance with moving from bed to a chair. He is mobile, but just requires hand-holding on the day-to day activities during the rehab. With that, here is what he and the family experienced/witnessed: 1. His call button lights up on the outside of his room for emergency and/or when assistance is needed. THERE IS ZERO URGENCY BY THE STAFF TO COME TO THE ROOM. I have sat with him while the button was pushed and it is not uncommon for 45 minutes to go by before someone comes. 2. Call button is pushed to get assistance to go to the bathroom, but because of the lag in response, he is forced to soil himself as he cannot hold it for such a long time. I am 100% convinced that staff would rather have him soil himself and change a diaper than take the time is takes to get him to the bathroom. This was not a one off occurrence, but common practice. Where the dignity? 3. I can't tell you how many times I have seen patient's call lights on in the hallway (and people yelling out for help) and just witnessing staff sitting behind their desks fiddling on their cell phones texting and surfing social media. Again....not one-off situations. 4. Weekends are even worse that what I have described. Usual Care One staff is replaced by a service that fills in for the general staff. These people don't even do the bare minimum. You want to see real neglect, check it out on a Saturday night around 6:30. 5. Staff blows you off when you share your concerns. They listen with a blank stare, give you BS lip service and then nothing is corrected. Simple things like "please keep the call button on the left side of my FIL because the right is paralyzed" can't even be accommodated. 6. My FIL was getting shots of Eloquist and Heprin at the SAME TIME! So, he was getting a double dose of blood-thinners. Luckily we had a visitor there seeing it and happened to mention it to me later that day. Brought it to the attention to the facility and they brought it to the attention of the nurse. What would have happened if a family member did not see it and report it? 7. Good luck with getting updates on the care of the patient. Constant follow-up calls are required. Can easily go a day without hearing back. Honestly, this is just the tip of the iceberg. I rarely give any reviews, but this place is such a train-wreck, I had to speak up. While the nurses and PT are acceptable your loved one is being "cared for" by aides the rest of the 22 hours in the day. They just aren't dropping the ball or having hiccups, this was EVERYDAY COMMON PRACTICE during the 1 month he was there. After about a month, we pulled him out because the neglect was just too much to bare any longer. We have since moved him to different facility in Medford and WOW, what a difference in care and in my FILs demeanor. Attention Care One Evesham: Don't even waste your time commenting with the company line on this review with the 'ol "Sorry to hear your father-n-law was unhappy with his experience. We have an administrator looking into this. Please reach out to us in an order to help rectify these concerns". You've been told daily of our concerns over the past month and there was little to no effort to change or help. He spent approximately 28 days in complete misery and neglect. You should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

I wish I could give them negative stars. Some of the staff seemed nice but the cleanliness of the rooms were horrendous. Health code violations everywhere. So disturbing. That place should be shut down. read more

My Mom was admitted 10/24/21 for routine pt rehab after a UTI . By 11/7 she had contracted pneumonia, dehydration . ( I insisted on the chest xray) She was nearly comatose when I had her discharged without their recommendation. I took her right to ER hospital and the drs and nurses were mortified with here condition. She was in congested heart failure. We almost lost her! The worst place. read more

I wanted so badly to give Careone in Evesham NJ a better rating because some of the staff members are beautiful people and hardworkers but unfortunately people do not go to these type of facilities just for good people. My justification for the low rating is as follows: 1. It took almost a month to get my son a wheelchair and when it came he couldn't use it unless we were there because it didn't fit properly. So he remained in the bed for weeks! This regressed his progress because it's important for his recovery that he have a routine and be out of bed! 2. It took almost a month to get him a shower stretcher so he had 1 month of bed baths . We were told the facility never had one and we had to have several conversations before they would purchase one but they did purchase one thanks to the DoN. 3. They left my son, who has a TBI, in a jerry chair, in the hallway without his helmet and unattended (he has missing bone flap so helmet is madatory). A family member found him sliding off the chair and biting his lip. Honestly he could have died if he hit his head. 3. Dr Lisa Dructor is unprofessional never spoke to us except to try to explain why our sons trach was knocked out. She tried to explain this away by stating they were looking at a wound on his back that I wanted assessed. I questioned why this happened twice in 1 week and why did the nurse manager tell me they pushed past resistance and caused trauma to the site. They said she lied and we never seen her again. We believe she was fired for speaking up. Dr Dructor spoke to me demeaningly and I watched her speak degrading to her staff. We felt that she was spiteful after I questioned her and it reflected in our sons care. (Note we changed doctors and never heard from that Dr either.) 4. Meds were randomly discontinued when there was a clear need and orders from specialist were ignored. 5. Extremely short staffed, our son developed a groin rash from sitting wet and sometimes sitting in bowl movements for prolonged periods of time. A few times it was at least 4 hours, my husband and I have ended up changing him at times. This lasted for 3 weeks and I want to note that our son left the facility for an elective surgery and the rash cleared up in 2 days. 6. Communication is non existent! They never called me when his trach was knocked out or when he had a fever. The DoN eventually tried to remedy this but lack of communication continued between shifts. 7. Our son had an elective surgery to get his skull flap put back in and within hours they gave away his bed. They all knew we planned to return, he had a room full of pics, clothes, books, electronics. They had his belongings in boxes and liquid poured out of the box labeled electronics, thanks careone. No one called us or had any conversation with us that they planned to take his room. This was so unprofessional and appalling. It left our son stuck at the ICU with no place to return. He is 20 and only 3 facilities were willing to help him due to his age and injury. That being said as I write this I realize they did him a favor because he deserves better care until we can bring him home. If you decide to have your loved one go here please understand they have huge communication gaps and are very short staffed. read more

My mother was a patient at Care One the end of Nov. & Dec. in 2000. It is a beautiful facility; but HORRIBLE care is given to the patients. My mother had a urinary tract infection and was left in the same diaper for 48 hrs. When I asked if she was changed regularly, the staff told me 'yes'. They LIED. I myself had her wearing a certain diaper which I ordered on a regular basis. The hospital never used that brand. So she hadn't been changed for 2 days! She didn't take her required medication. Staff said she refused to take it so they couldn't force her to take it. When I came to visit her......she was on the floor along side of her bed moaning. The nurses reprimanded me for helping her to get back into her bed. It was noted on her chart that my husband and I were trouble makers. (Because we were always questioning what they were doing for my mom.) Please do not consider admitting your loved one to Care One at Evesham; or you will be the next person posting negative remarks about this facility. read more

I wanted to like Care One. However, there are many issues with this faciilty. It's disorganized, short staffed, and some staff members are militant and aggressive towards family and patients. Additionally, the late night staff (not all staff) is so LOUD that you can hear them on the opposite side of the building. I would think a facility like this would want the nurse staff to be quiet as the very ill patients are trying to get rest and heal. This place is extremely disruptive to the patients. I've seen nurses run down the hall yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs to other staff members. The nurse station is like "party hour" sometimes with them totally ignoring patients and talking, laughing extremely loud. It's a circus. I would highly recommend to avoid this place! Thank you Care One Evesham for making a difficult situation into a much more easier transition than originally thought. My father does not fixate on what he cannot do as much as he did at home. The Activities Staff have helped him rediscover hobbies that he hasn't done in Years! I feel like I'm getting my father back. He actually told me not to come for a visit last week because he was going to Oktoberfest! Thank you for the wonderful care & dignity you provide for him! read more

Do not ever leave a loved one at this location! They neglected to give my grandfather his proper heart medications, he had to be rushed to the hospital in heart failure. He had spilled his urine container since bedridden and was left lying in wet sheets. No personnel helped even after he called for help. The place appears to be very disorganized, it has an odor, and my feeling is it is just a place for Care One to collect medicare payments of the elderly. A very sad place for any senior placed there. I am disabled myself. I have visited this place numerous times to visit a friend of mine who has been there for rehabilitation. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. For example I went in there one time and my friend was sitting on a bedpan for an hour. That is disgusting. This is one place where I will never go to be patient. read more
