We hired him again on April 15, 2021 for stucco repair and entire exterior painting of our home. He told me four days and said he would start the 21st and be finished by the 27th. I was happy with that because we we're scheduled to list our home for sale May 1, 2021. He started April 23, but was not finished with the work 33 days later so we let him go. It has cost us $6800 SO FAR to repair the work he did. WHY? First, he used different colored stucco in several different areas on our home. Then he rolled and sprayed the home in different areas. The home looked blotchy and in the areas of the different color stucco it looked terrible. Additionally, he texted me on three different occasions to pay for the paint which was included in the price because he left his wallet in the other truck, he had to pay someone in El Paso, etc. Then the paint didn't even show up at my house. I know now he had me pay for someone else's stuff because I called the paint store and it was primer. Last, he told me at one point he would be finished by 10am the next morning and wanted the rest of the money now. Thank God I said I had to see it finished first because Javier was no where near finished. He didn't show up the next day so I called two painting companies to come out. Both came and both, at different times, told me Javier was ruining my home. I immediately let him go and hired one of the companies to completely redo the paint job Because neither company would guarantee their work unless they redid it all due to how bad it was by Javier. Here's what I haven't told you yet which will cost me more money--- 1.) Javier dropped stucco in my new air conditioner (purchased Jan 2021) and I now have to get it professionally cleaned out because the stucco is on the fan and can put the fan off balance. so if I don't get it cleaned they can void warranty and my ac can break down. 2.) Javier broke 36 roofing field tiles and seven ridge tiles. I sent him pictures and have waited a week for him to drop off the tile material for our roofing company to fix. As you can see in pictures, he still hasn't dropped off paint, trim paint, or the tile. I have plenty of pictures, snapshots of all his text messages, and proof of who he is from my camera system (Which they broke one of them, too). I'm trying to get these to load on here. The night before they were to start the job, I got a text at 10pm stating they'd need to push out a day. I understand that kind of thing happens, but it's bad form to text a client so late the night before. I had to follow up time and again regarding arrival times, etc. There was no proactive communication on their part. They also dumped over a gallon of paint in our front yard. We now have to throw away all of the rock in that area and spread more to make up for it. They also broke a decorative element. Even with all of the challenges, we're considering them for another job on our interior. We support small businesses and really appreciated the work they did. Just wish for more professionalism and concern for our home.

Here is my experience: Did not properly prep surfaces- painted over tape and nails, most of crew showing little to no understanding of how to paint professionally. After receiving 50% down asked multiple times for additional advances on payment total. Did not supervise crew at all, who smoked inside the garage and stole a firearm from the property. Did not pay his "employees" who came back to the house threatening the homeowner. Apparently one of them was "hired" outside a McDonalds right before the project. Unvetted and inexperienced. Refused to refund costs when a project was terminated. Lawsuit to follow.

He repaired and patch a ceiling hole that was cut out. The damage was from water leak damage when swamp cooler leaked because MCS/Mechanical Control Solutions failed to replace swamp cooler pads, so the water overflowed from the pads and leaked into the house bedroom. 24-Hour Restoration dried and sprayed microbials to prevent mold and David finished the repair on the ceiling, put up sheet rock and textured the ceiling smoothly and seamlessly. David even went above and beyond what I asked for. I have physical limitations so he went up on the attic to re-fluff the insulation up there. He also patched couple of small holes from removed towel rack and retextured bathroom wall. Now my house and bedrooms ready for the fall and winter. No hole in ceiling to the attic. No holes in bathroom also. The texturing of the ceiling and walls are seamless and smooth. Professional and great job David. I will definitely recommend you to others in need of your services. Instead of sending David, Lester subcontracted out the job to a crew that told me they had never actually met Lester in person. Lester had initially stated that he would include painting if I provided the paint. When I asked Lester about the painting after the repair had been made he incorrectly stated that the reason that they had not painted was that I never provided paint to the crew. This was not true. He also told me that I needed to "Read the messages!!" referring to our previous text exchange and work agreement. Once I sent a screenshot of our previous conversation to refresh Lester's memory and told him that I had provided the paint to the crew and discussed it with them, he said he would call me later to reschedule the paint job. I never heard from him again. Fortunately, I was able to contact the crew that was subcontracted to finish the job with them directly. I wouldn't recommend using Lester. I had 2 different companies come out and look at the repair and they both said that it was a poor job and recommended removing the texture and redoing it. I attempted to follow-up with Lester and he won't respond to my messages
