Oakridge Roofing Company just completed my parents roof. Job consisted of removing all tile, old…read moredeteriorated roofing paper, batten boards and decking. Then replaced with new decking batten boards and the latest under lament made specifically for tile roofs. My parents picked out a new multi colored tile that just made the roof pop. All skylights and flashing replaced too. So much detail it's hard to mention all work done. Manny also, had his framer build two boxed in soffits to prevent pigeons from accessing these openings at the front of the house. Hence preventing yearly clean up of pigeon poop. Manny did this for my parents at no extra cost. It was a very professional job and fit right in with the architectural design of the home. There was a delay in the delivery of the tile from San Diego California which was beyond the control of Manny's Company. The delay was due to Covid 19 which has been a terrible problem in USA and the world but his crew worked hard throughout the entire job and kept a professional attitude. I can definitely say Mike and his crew went above and beyond! I had gotten about 6 estimates from…read moredifferent companies ranging from $70k-$93k and was at my wits end. Our roof is approx. 7200 sq ft with a lot of parapets and different levels, no body wanted to do TPO, they all said it would be too difficult. So all of the estimates that I had gotten were for torch down which isn't as good and is not what I wanted but when Mike came out he said it would not be a problem and that TPO is the best. We weren't sure about how much decking would have to be replaced so we agreed that we would settle that after the roof was finished. He also replaced all of the Canales, 13 in total. There was a total of 70 sheets of decking that was replaced. Also one spot on the roof was so rotted that one of the guys foot went through and broke through the wood ceiling inside of my house but Mike went and found the same exact wood, stained it and fixed the ceiling with no problem. I was/am so impressed with his attention to detail and dedication to getting his company going and his knowledge about Roofing is very extensive and impressive! He is a perfectionist about doing a good job and satisfying his customers! His prices cannot be beat, for everything that he did he was on the average of $30k + less than all of the other quotes that I received. Feel very blessed that I found Mike's Roofing! Thank you Mike! I spoke with a certain Tom who promised he would send his supervisor for the estimate within a couple of days but will confirm a more exact date after speaking to said supervisor. I did not hear back from him at the end of the day. The next morning on 07/17, I called to follow up and a guy again by the name of Tom answered it. He was kind of irate and asked me "who are you?" I told him we spoke yesterday regarding a repair estimate. His response was "How could I have spoken to you? In the first place, I am in Germany? What is the name of my company?" I could sense that he was thinking I was just making a story of that phone call. The reception from the start of the call and the way the conversation was proceeding was very un-friendly to the point of being rude. What could have been said in a more professional fashion was done so crudely. So I said, "Oh forget it, I am no longer interested to seek your help". He responded: "Me either and do not call again" He could be having a bad day but what a way to bring it in front of a potential customer. If you need a roof repair, I'm sure there are other outfits who can be professional enough and grateful for any new business to be knocking on their door. I had 3 roofers come out to investigate the roof leak I had in my living room. One said that the entire roof needed to be replaced, 14,000 dollars. The 2nd roofer said that entire part of the roof needed replacing, 4,600 dollars. Tom came out and said that my overall roof was in great shape and still had about 7-10 years of life in it. He identified the leak as need ih ng to replace the valley where two slopes of my gable roof came together. He removed and installed a new dead valley and the shingles 3 feet up on both sides, 950.00 dollars. So many roofers will recommend a full roof change, even when it's not needed. Tom is polite, very informative, and will take care of the problem without over diagnosing the problem.
