This place is a joke. I am battling prostate cancer, wanted a 2nd opinion for treatment. Set this appointment up in November, they are scheduled out til the end of January. Well, here it is, less than 24 hours til my appointment and I get a call that there is a scheduling conflict. Oh, by the way, my insurance is out of network (funny, I needed a referral and on my insurance webpage it stated they are in network). This is the 2nd time they have had to reschedule due to "scheduling conflict". I had to take a personal day off work for this appointment just for them to reschedule again. I am fuming. Rewriting another review because these people are great; w/my pee problems and prostate cancer they're very accommodating, efficient, and friendly. Most importantly, Dr. Warner is very concerned about my health and checks on other things going on in my life to encourage me to "have a better life". Even w/covid, the front desk is really efficient,too, which is often hard to be w/rude people on their cell phones, cold air coming through the sliding front doors, and OLD people like myself to deal w/constantly...why do some people never have their medical card/insurance card w/them...I've seen this same lady at another doctors office and she's on her phone the whole time, rude as can be in a doctors office, and never has her card...she wastes more people's time! esp the rest of us patients who are prepared and are on time and appreciate the work of the medical community! read more

Dr Bashey is the consummate professional. He also has a very deep, personal, caring and compassionate side. Being told you have multiple cancers for the first time is a shock and not something you ever want to hear. After the initial shock it did take a while to get to know and put my trust in Dr Bashey. I now have absolute confidence in him and his care for my welfare. read more

I lost almost all faith in all drs. Yesterday. The PA Asked me So, no methamphetamines recently? Wtf? I had just given them a ua for my ultrasound so that they could see what my bladder was emptying. I have been using the same exact medications for over 8 years. I told him that I physically have to push down in order for me to pee. It takes me 5-10 every time I go pee. I told him that I am scared because I know something is wrong. That's when he said the methamphetamines part. I told him to go check my pee that I just gave them. I was in a place of what is happening? I was shaking and I was trying to stay calm. This is not ok. I needed his help. SO RUDE. read more

I am sorry but I am not impressed with this organization's effeciency, considering that their patients' health is in their hands. My primary doctor reffered me to them on a matter serious enough to require a specialist. They sent me a letter, after a month, asking to call and schedule an appointment. First, seriously, a month? Should you not reach out within days? And, why did someone just not call and make the appointment. It would even cost less! I called, they couldn't even find my chart. Very efficient. Finally after making a new chart, they could only schedule me for almost a month and a half later. In other words, two and half months aftert the referal. Now, you wonder, do they do everything that way?! Sadly, they could do better if they chose to. Much better. read more

Let's be honest, any visit to a doctor or dentist can be an uncomfortable experience - especially a urologist. Dr. Elkins makes the entire process as painless as possible. He has exceptional bedside manner, he is kind, he is quick and efficient. He respects the time, privacy and sensitivity of his patients and I am very grateful that he was my treating physician. There are not enough urologists in the Salem area so all of them are very busy at all times, and there is a waiting list for any procedure, but it is Worth the wait to schedule your appointments with Dr. Elkins. read more

My husband was referred to this clinic due to chronic, excessive urination. We had to wait weeks to get in, and when we arrived, we waited 20 minutes in the lobby, then were taken back and assumed we would see the doctor right away. Instead, we had to wait another half hour. By now it is approaching lunchtime. The doc finally arrives. He was assigned Dr. Teresa Kobbie. When she came in, it was fairly obvious she did not want to spend any more time with us than necessary and she didn't listen to anything my husband said about what was going on. Her treatment was no real treatment at all and we left there with no resolution whatsoever. We would not recommend this clinic at all to anyone. Maybe some of the other docs are better; I don't know. Anyway, find somewhere, anywhere other than this place. read more

The Doc was very nice. The receptionist was rude at best. They are still overbearing with their mask rules. One of the receptionists had their mask below their mouth yet the young lady who helped me was rude while trying to make me wear a mask. Do y'all not realize masks don't stop viruses from spreading??? I get asking someone to wear one if they are sick but that's it. If you are required to ask people to wear a mask that's fine, but stop pretending like it's your job to force it. read more

I have been a patient of Doctor Warner for about eight years. He did an awesome exam on the first visit and determined there was a 95% chance that I had bladder cancer. within a week I had surgery and began treatments. He is very compassionate and treats me with dignity and respect. He saved my life literally. it's been a difficult journey but he's been there at every step. His staff is awesome, especially April. I will start out by saying I love Dr. Bashey and have never had a bad experience once I get in to see him. That being said actually getting in to see him, getting staff to return my phone calls to get help or answer questions or God forbid there's an issue with your prescription is an absolute nightmare. I called 3 days ago, then yesterday and they said they would take care of it and now it's Saturday, they're closed, no prescriptions were called in an I'm in pain and screwed. read more

There is no cure currently for IC - Intersistitial Cystitis, but I was hopeful that the doc could suggest some things to try. All were horrifying. I opted for the catheterization of medication 1 time a week for 6 weeks, I was not aware the entire procedure was going to be so costly. After insurance, it cost more than $1500. And the treatment barely helped my painful life altering symptoms. Be warned, they do not approve financial assistance for you if you have health insurance...which everyone has to legally have but can barely afford itself. After that treatment, he had no other ideas. No other treatments to try. He had nothing more to suggest. Basically, good luck and a handshake. I am back to self treating trying to find a symptom reliever. When I received my 4 page bill outlining all the procedures, I found that even though each procedure was exactly the same, some of the fees were higher. On the one occasion additional tests were done, I was aware it would cost more. But the other occasions were because there was no PA or MA available to do the procedure. Even though I had booked my appointments months in advance. This cost me more because insurance does not cover as much for a doctor or RN to do the treatment. When I confronted them about this fact, they simply brushed me off, saying it looks better in their yearly audits to have an RN do the procedure when a PA or MA isn't there & falsely record that a doctor who was on the building premises did the procedure, rather than schedule me to the correct time when a PA or MA was available. The front desk receptionist were very kind & helpful, my review is not based on them at all. Maybe all doctor offices record visits the same way and this is my first experience with it, but I have been to other doctors and have been billed for exactly who I set the appt to see and the work that was done. I don't think that is unreasonable. read more

I went to see a physician there as a referral from my GP. The physician I saw was so rude. He explained nothing. Did not explain a procedure he did. Nothing. He then told me to come back in 3 months. I will not. This Physician seems angry and proud. He does not respect the HIPPA rights of other patients. I could hear his conversations with other patients in rooms on either side of me.And their medical history. In the hallway he became irritated with a co-worker delivering a message from Salem Hospital. He angrily exclaimed, "I KNOW MORE THAN SALEM HOSPITAL!" He discussed the complete medical history of another patient, who was pregnant, in front of everyone. What a puffed up, unprofessional bully. He had no care, no compassion. I will be informing my Physicians Clinic not to recommend him to anyone. What a horrible place. I feel for the staff. Including the cold receptionists trying to stay warm in their coats. PS. I am a retired nurse with fifty years of experience in th e medical field. read more

Very poor customer service! Having very uncomfortable symptoms, called to make an appointment was told not without a referral! I assured her referral has been obtained, can I schedule now and I will get my records to you if my doctor doesn't because I can't wait months! She insisted they won't schedule without records. Called back one week later to check on records and she was again very rude... they didn't receive records and oh, by the way, we're scheduling two months out so the sooner you can get those records to us, the better. It's hard to find good help and apparently, it's even harder when we expect some capacity to empathize! read more

First visit: waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen, doctor mostly interested in another issue in my file, not what I went for treatment. From then on, this doctor continued to press for me to use him to address the second issue, which was already being treated by my Primary Care Physician. I told him and I told his staff this several times from February through June but he still demanded I take tests through him (already taken) and lately he referred me to a specialist. I had already seen the same kind of specialist through my PCP. Today I was called to ask why I was not seeing his referral and I reminded them that the treatment was happening elsewhere, not only the testing but the referral and the matter has been resolved. I've said this every single time they've called. Doctor wanted to know who I was referred to. I indicated it was not his business. I've called my PCP and asked help stopping this doctor from inserting himself where he is not authorized. I've also written and asked that they close my file. read more

I called to schedule and appointment. My paperwork from the ER said to call within one day. I called and they said they needed a referral and that they would call me and for me NOT to call back. So I waited for 1 week. No call back. How stupid - I'm insured either with the referral or not, so I don't understand their "policy" to wait. I called them again to schedule something and again they said not without a referral. Again, I explained that Salem Hospital should have forwarded anything they needed and that the paperwork in my hand said to call them in 1 day, which was 6 days ago. They didn't care and told me they would look into it. I filled out the release paperwork with Salem Hospital to forward to Willamette Urology again. I waited until the afternoon - nothing. They cared when I got an attorney on the phone. I told them my paperwork was from Salem Hospital, but they assumed it was coming from my primary care doctor - which was the mistake they admitted to on the phone. I still don't know why it matters or why this was a problem at all, even if they had different processes depending on where the request comes from. They are overwhelmed or incompetent or both. read more
