Our salesperson was Sara and she came out, tested our water and shared resources where we could get more facts about our water. We got a quote for a plain under sink unit and a whole house system, and she thoroughly explained all the different options you could get. My extended family buys alkaline water, so we decided to be bougie and get that on the counter spigot, however at Sara's suggestion we did plain RO to the fridge and ice maker. David was the technician that came out. He was extremely personable and you can tell he believes in their product. He did a great job drilling into our countertop and provided some guidance in machine placement for easy filter changes. They sell an American made product, and it has great reviews. He told me he would get back to me in a day never did . I call back to the sales person again left v/m no call back. So I called up the main office she told me I will have someone will call you back so they did I ask the same thing he told me they buy in builk I said ok that's what I was looking for . I ask if you all can sell me the salt he said I would get back to you . Well you guess no call back. Final word . During this consultation, I specifically asked whether my existing gas meter would need to be upgraded to support this size generator, and I was told that it would not be an issue. Concerned about the cost and urgency, I sought a second opinion from a licensed local electrical contractor. After reviewing my home ( including my panel, meter, and installation location), they determined that an 18 kw generator would fully meet my needs. They also indicated that a 22 kw generator or 26 kw would likely require a gas meter or gas line upgrade, which was not disclosed to me in the original consultation. The second company provided a complete quote of $10,500 including, installation, permits, a transfer switch, surge protection, and a cold weather kit - significantly less than the original quote for a larger, potentially incompatible system. I am concerned that I was given misleading information regarding system sizing and gas requirements, and that I was pressured to make a same day decision on a very large purchase without proper verification of critical infrastructure. Salesman knew exactly what he was doing. He was just trying to close a deal in a high pressure situation. He didn't care about anything else. Do not buy and have a generator installed through Lowes. Period.
