There were actually patients falling asleep in the waiting room. This is not a free clinic.. this is a private medical office that you make an appt with and some ppl like me, are very sick and can't just wait 3 hours. run the other way to protect your physical and mental being…read more i made an appointment with Dr.Raber and was seen by entirely different doctor. i was seen by NP Barbara and was not told about it until i realized it was a completely different doctor. its fine because it seemed like she was nice. i had to repeat and clarify things 5-10 times during our visit as she didn't know simple responses such as menstrual cycle dates and how they equate to frequent and unpredictable cycles. again benefit of the doubt. i did blood work and out of the blue a couple of days later she sent me an oncology referral. no courtesy call or reasoning but just a referral. i called the office for a reason and they were just as clueless as the doctor. then i asked to come back for imagining as i had my menstrual and they kept scheduling me on days they don't have staff to do the imagining. kept wasting my time and pushing me to go to other offices. i went to the oncologist and she said this is the most unprofessional office she's worked with. i agreed and moved on. this doctor gave me anxiety about cancer (i had high level of a hormone in my blood work) for weeks. . . so much so i had scheduled an mri through my primary. do not go to this place. i will be reporting them - she should have her license revoked. lastly, i asked her to call me to review all of the results she received and she never did that. she just emailed me the results and began ignoring me. absolutely terrible place.

My doctor that was retiring recommended that I be seen twice a year due to a large cyst on one of my ovaries that needed to be monitored and screened again and other complications I had that required more tests. In response to my former doctor's request, Dr. Sarabanchong received my files. In the first few minutes of our meeting, he seemed friendly enough. But then he said, "I understand what your other doctor wants, I have and see the requests, but I will not perform any tests or pap smears on you today. I will only perform a pelvic exam.". The situation seemed very wrong to me. For him to just feel around inside me made no sense to me. My ultrasounds and CTs have already confirmed that I have a large cyst. What's the point? Did he just want to touch it? I wish I'd listened to my gut and bolted rather than thinking, "he's a doctor. He must know what he's doing." I nevertheless agreed to get up on the table. "Does this hurt?" he asked repeatedly as he pushed his fingers around inside me. It seemed to go on for too long. Then he seemed frustrated and pressed his finger against my clit asking "Well, does this hurt?" I pushed myself back and away from him to the other end of the table, tears streaming down my cheeks. His reaction was sudden shock, and then he asked" was it something I did?" Then he left the room quickly and never returned. ( or called, or checked up in any way ever again) Immediately, I remembered that I had told him about my PTSD. I wondered if he thought he could get away with doing this because of what I'd shared before the exam. The nurse should have been watching what HE was doing to me. She was in the room, but she was standing up by my shoulders and facing him not facing my body watching his hands on me, so she never had a clear view of anything he was doing to me. My state of shock was so bad that I had to be guided by hand to the desk out front by the nurse. I stood there still with tears streaming down my face as she gave me a date and made my next appointment with the doctor for me!!! She handed me an appointment card then I wandered aimlessly out into the street in full panic mode, still crying, my body knowing what happened but second guessing myself because of my past sexual trama, and angry that the nurse would never be able to confirm with me with what I knew to be true because she was standing by my shoulders, and not watching his hands on my body. It took a month for me to call and cancel my appointment. I don't know why but even calling the place gave me anxiety. I have since found a wonderful female doctor 2 hours away but worth it. And I'm back to my two times a year schedule as my other doctor suggested and my current doctor confirmed was ideal for me at the time. I've tried to put this all behind me. I've struggled with telling anyone. But ultimately, I wanted anyone looking up the glowing reviews to know that not all of us feel that Voravut Sarabanchong is an amazing doctor.

During my very first appointment, Dr.Sarabanchong took me into his office where we just spoke - about my life, medical history, goals (related to gyno health and children) and only after we spoke and established patient-physican trust, did we go into the exam room. I felt very comfortable and welcomed in this office. If I were to consider having a child, a concept that usually makes me anxious, I would immediately feel more confident knowing that I would be under the care of this doctor. Sadly, I've recently moved out of nyc, however, I fully intend to return to Dr.Sarabanchong for my annual exams.

The front desk ladies are very rude, curt and stuck up both in person and over the phone. If you ever come here, make sure to specify exactly what you're there for and check your bills! I got hit with huge fees twice for things and tests I didn't approve of or were informed for. Went first time for routine follow up and then got a bill on the mail for over $1000 for anesthesia that I never even received. The second time I got a bill in the mail for a UTI test that was sent to a private lab that I also wasn't notified of, approved of or notified of. I called the private lab about the bill and they told me to contact the doctor's office. When I called they told me to email the billing department and wait for about 2 weeks for a reply. Waited the 2 weeks, got no reply. Called again and they told me to email another email address and wait for a reply. Got a reply after 3 days the reply was "we sent your request to the lab".
