I waited for 30 min and still no doctor, so I left. I didn't get a call from them at all. They charge patients who don't show up, maybe I should charge them? I'm a long time patient so I kept my 6 mo appt, which was last week. The hygienist (who was great) mentioned there is a note in my file regarding a night guard, would I like them to scan my mouth at this visit? I said no but they checked my insurance anyway and it wasn't covered so I opted out. They are so professional, courteous, organized, and just down right friendly. I actually look forward to my visits with them! I needed a crown repaired, a root canal, and some other work done (cavities, deep cleaning, ect), none of it really pleasant but Dr. Levine is extremely gentle, steady, and always makes sure you're not feeling any pain. He's applied the novocain perfectly with every procedure he's done for me and I've never had to take anything stronger than advil a few hours after I leave. I explained my anxiety at my 1st visit and Dr. Levine went over the sedation route which is what we decided would work best for me. No, I'm not being put out with every procedure. He prescribed me a prescription for valium which I take 1 hr before my appointment. I've actually dropped my dosage because of how good Dr. Levine is at his job. I also opted to have the nitrous to help comfort me... Let me just say this, I almost fell asleep during my root canal. I'm serious. I really believe it won't be long where I'll only need the novocain if I need anything done other than a routine cleaning which I'm excited to say will be done at this office from here on out unless I move from Maryland. The entire office is extremely personable, I've held many a conversations with Dr. Levine, Ilona, Vicky, and Peggy. They really do care what's going on with their patients and truly make it feel like you're hanging out with friends! I recently switched to her practice after being with another dental practice for over 10 years.
