It has a beautiful perimeter of trees and shrubs. Inside, there's open green space with a pond, covered picnic tables, and playground equipment. There's a swimming pool at the northern end, but I didn't explore that end of the park. Next time we come out this way, we'll have to enjoy a picnic here. Street parking only.

It's a refurbished park...and it's lovely! There are two basketball courts, a large grassy area, one nice playground, and a separate area for swings. It's really a great layout. I start at the bottom near Silver Shadow and walk up to the recreation center. They're are restrooms and a faucet if you need water for your pups. I like to use the trails instead of the main walking road it gives me more of a workout. Keep an eye out for rattlesnakes from March through October. If you let them pass they aren't a threat. I do this walk/hike by myself it's never stopped me. I love it here

The park is easy enough to get to and parking is not bad even with youth sports taking place. The park has a pool, playground, tennis courts, a basketball court, sports fields and a baseball diamond. There are mature trees for shade and some spots for a picnic. We seem to visit more parks now that we have grandchildren. It is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and spending time with the grandkids is one of the greatest joys in my life.

Many times of the day, there's enough of a breeze to keep things cool. Second, there's a fun playground for the kiddos. Even if you don't have kids with you, I like hearing the sound of kids playing. I enjoy that this is a great place to start for a hike up to Double Peak Park. If you are working your way up to hiking further, you don't need to go very far to get to some nice view spots.

Once was this past summer for an outdoor movie. It's a great setup. Today, we spent many hours with friends playing. There are swings, ropes to climb, and other equipment. Want to have a picnic? Sure! You have plenty of spots- tables, grass, or benches. Bathrooms are nearby- that's always helpful when you have young kids. I've seen park rangers there maintaining equipment and doggy bags. Keep it up! My kids enjoy this park and so do I. We'll be back!
