I've been entangled several ongoing civil cases here at Yakima Superior Court for over a year now,…read moreand it's been nothing short of a procedural disaster orchestrated by Judge Elizabeth Tutsch What should have been a straightforward matter has devolved into a costly farce due to repeated, egregious mistakes in basic court procedures-things like misapplying deadlines, ignoring key evidentiary rules, denying due process violation of constitutional rights and bungling scheduling orders that any first-year law student would spot, changing orders that other judges in her same courthouse rule on without motions being filed. Every error requires filing emergency motions to correct it, racking up thousands in attorney fees and court costs that I simply can't afford. We've had to submit multiple motions just to unwind these blunders, to no avail because Judge Elizabeth Tutsch ignores the evidence and just makes multiple rulings when the evidence shows that her rulings make no sense and no semblance of rationality. Each ruling a humiliating and expensive Band-Aid on a wound the court itself inflicted and refuses to correct. This incompetence isn't just frustrating; it's actively pushing me toward bankruptcy. How is anyone supposed to get justice when the judge's sloppiness turns the courtroom into a money pit? If you're facing a case here, brace yourself or transfer out if possible The clerks and staff are polite. But if you get Judge Elizabeth Tutsch even going to a priest won't help you. If you're facing a case here, brace yourself or transfer out if possible it's a waste of time to think she will dispense FAIR impartial justice. The clerks and staff are polite enough, but the judicial oversight is a joke that could most likely bankrupt you. Yakima deserves better-demand accountability before more lives are derailed. Stay far away unless you have deep pockets and are ok with judgements being put against you based on unverifiable bogus evidence You go to court expecting a fair decision!

Went to Courthouse to look up public records. Went to the District Court window and after waiting…read morefor someone to acknowledge me even though there were two women sitting at the window talking to each other, had no idea what I was wanting, but directed me to a kiosk where I could look up the case I needed. Went to the kiosk, and the password provided did not work, went back to the window, waited again until they would acknowledge me, told them the password wasn't working, they said they had no idea how to help me! Acted like I was speaking a language they didn't understand. So I finally figured out on my own where I needed to go, went to their kiosk, couldn't even get the computer to turn on. An employee was helping a customer, but there were many other employees who were talking to each other, but no one would help customers besides the one employee and the customers were stacking up. After about 10 minutes, another employee finally came to the window, I told her I couldn't get the computer to work, assumed I was doing something wrong by her condescending demeanor, and she ended up having to shut it completely down, wait for updates, and re-login to the system. Only then did she treat me like I wasn't a moron. This was at 11:00 in the morning, plenty of time for one of the many employees to have handled this before a customer needed to wait for the 20 minutes it took to reboot. With the exception of a very few employees, the ineptitude and indifference to their customers is obvious. Perhaps if people were hired based on ability and willingness to do their jobs and were regularly evaluated and held accountable when they didn't, the employees at this Courthouse would be able to help customers with the most basic of Courthouse tasks. Outrageous!!

Time is a terrorist.) But yeah, all of these atrocities were in my head as I sat in court....as an accused violator....of...... NOT WEARING A SEATBELT!!!! I arrived at the court in Grandview 10 minutes early, and went straight to the court room. I sat with all the other Accused on the benches. Benches which reminded me of pews of a church (that alone got me feeling queasy!). Why do courts all look the same? We watched a short video which described the options us criminals (accused!) had. I sat there in my preppy/nerdy attire, trying not to sweat too much ("beware the man who sweats!"). I wondered who I was surrounded by---murderers, wall street tycoons, crooked politicians....... ....they turn out to almost all be seatbelt violators as well!!! Some won their contests, some lost, and others asked for a lighter sentence. Me, I wanted to plead my case à la Atticus Finch (To Kill A Mockingbird), but I probably ended up being more of a Vincent (My Cousin Vinny). At any rate, my case was cut and dry---why else would I waste half of my day for a $125 ticket. I really was ready to prove that I truly did have my seat belt on that dark night in October. The judge asked me to 'splain myself, and then that was it. The Trooper didn't show. Also the individual who we were dealing with falsified a report to the police which could have led to me being charged with a situation that could and may have already had an averse affect on my future employment. I should have given the police a report and did not. Lesson learned - file a report regardless since this person did so the prosecuting attorney was coming after me. Joyce was persistent and was able to get the charge dropped even though the legal system would have prosecuted me just because the other person did file a report. I was just not aware that could be the case. I was willing to just let it go, again lesson learned - file a report. Thanks for your help Joyce.

Want to feel alive. Stand in front of a powerful waterfall like Narada and you'll feel every part…read moreof you reacting. The mist hits your skin, the roar fills your chest, and for a moment you're just standing there, taking it all in. I was completely in awe. Then I spotted the rainbow and I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. I know I use the word magical too often, but this felt unreal, but it was so real! Narada is the most accessible waterfall by car in Mount Rainier; you can practically drive right up to it. There's a designated parking lot that places you directly above the falls, and from there a short, steep trail winds down through mossy rocks and dripping ferns, only about 0.2 miles. We visited in July and the path was wet and muddy. Expect to get soaked and you'll welcome that relief in the summer months. I'll never forget this place. By far one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

This was probably my favorite waterfall when I visited Mount Rainier National Park. Narada Falls is…read moresuch a pretty waterfall and easy to get to. The parking lot has a good amount of parking spots and also serves as a viewpoint. There are also restrooms here if you are in need of one. To access the lower part of the falls, you can cross over the stone-faced bridge to the short but steep trail to the bottom. The trail is 0.4 mile round-trip with a 200-foot descent/ascent. Once you reach the bottom, you will be able to see Narada Falls in its entirety. It is totally worth making the short hike down to see this impressive waterfall. Narada Falls drops around 180 feet in two tiers. The upper tier is a horsetail down a nearly sheer cliff and the lower tier is a smaller plunge. Narada Falls is a really popular tourist attraction and is located on the road from Longmire to Paradise. After I went through the Nisqually entrance, Narada Falls was one of the first stops that I made here at Mount Rainier National Park. It is about a 15 mile drive from the entrance and a mile from Paradise. Narada Falls is the largest waterfall accessible by car in Mount Rainier National Park.
