She said "Yes". She could have said, "Hello, this Is Dr. Patel's office. How can I help you?" I asked her if they are accepting new patients and she said, "Yes". I asked if they are accepting Medicare. She said, "Yes, but need a secondary", which we do. She asked if it is PPO, and I said, "Yes". Then she said, you need a referral from a doctor". So I said, "What? We have PPO not HMO". Then she said, "We are so busy you need a referral". What the F? So, I said, "Thank you and goodbye". How about focusing on your job instead of being dismissive and unprofessional? Overall, this place lacks professionalism, respect, and basic patient care.
