These people are a very dishonest group of individuals and I would not suggest doing any type of business with them. I bought a 2002 FORD RANGER with a 3.0 lit, that they said they did head gaskets on and apparently they did not find it necessary to pressure test the valves on the heads. I have had the vehicle for just over two months and have had to replace around $600 worth of random parts on it, and now I have to do a complete valve job. I have called WILLIAMS AUTO several times and left messages and I never get a call back. I would have thought a shop would better check over a vehicle that they were selling to the general public. The sad thing is they do not even have the integrity to at least call me back after several attempts to reach out to them. Since I never got a call back here are the compression readings on my 2002 FORD RANGER that Williams sold me. cyl#1 87psi, cyl#2 135 psi, cyl#3 135 psi, cyl#4 135 psi, cyl#5 135 psi, cyl#6 135 psi. Clearly it has a burnt valve on cylinder #1 right after they said they did a cylinder head job. read more

I took my truck on Tuesday 11/3/15 to Williams Automotive in Chiefland because my truck lost power. They put it on the computer and determined that the number 3 injector had failed. We told them to go ahead and replace all the injectors. They said it would be done the following Tuesday. The next Tuesday, I called and asked what time. They said it probably woudnt be done until the next day. I told them thay was fine, I had to work so I would pick it up Thursday morning. The lady told me it would be ready. I show up at 9:15 after the rental car man dropped me off and Tracy, the lady in the office came out and said it wasnt ready and would not be until the afternoon...WTH? I had to get a ride and be drove around all day. I called them in the afternoon at 4:30...NOPE..still not ready....WTF? They reassured me it would be ready in the morning. I picked up the truck Friday morning, loaded my girls up and drove it about 16 miles to head to Crystal River, check engine light came on and engine began knocking loudly. I pulled over and called Williams Automotive and told them what happened and they sent a tow truck. I had to have my mother in law pick me and my girls up on side of 19 in the middle between Fowler Bluff rd and Otter Creek and take me to get a rental. 4 hrs after my truck arrived back at the shop, (which they said they would call as soon as it got there and they put it on computer) I called and the office and Tracy, the font office lady answered...I asked if they figured anything out yet and said she put me on hold and came back to the phone and said...as of right now , it appears we "missed" a part while putting it back together. But she would call me back and let me know what else was wrong. In an hour, she called me and said the same injector that they replaced previously was bad...funny, it didn't make that noise when the injector was bad before when I dropped it off. Had rental car for 4 days, Friday-Monday. At 4:50 Monday, Tracy called and said it was ready. Picked it up and went home. At 5:20 am yesterday while going to work, my engine light came on. At 8:01am I called and told Tracy the engine light was on and she said to bring it back. My response: no, I will be taking it to somewhere different. Obviousy yall dont know what you are doin! This I took it to a different auto repair who put it on the computer and checked the engine, only to find out that one injector was not even in completely. They fixed it immediately causing the engine light to be fixed. They also looked at my steering, since I mentioned it was not driving right. Only to find that the hub Williams Automotive replaced 3 weeks prior was bad and it was the cheapest one they could purchase,but yet my bill was $423. I called and told Williams Automotive the findings and I asked them to refund me the labor on the injectors, which they agreed. I also asked them to refund me the hub and labor, seeing how it technically only was drivable for 7 days (since they had it 14 days of the 3 weeks) and the previous hub had been on since 2006, it just went bad and I could not see how the new one went bad in 7 days. They said the hub was under warranty and I could get a new one at no charge through advance auto parts, but they would not give me a refund of the labor, that I should have brought the truck back to them to fix...um..no that's not happening! Yall screw up my truck now twice, Im surely not going to let it happen again. When I went to pick up the refund for the labor of the injectors, Tracy, office lady was rude hostile and told me she never said that they "missed a part" and that I was calling her a liar. She was so irate, that the Paul had to step in to speak to me and she left the office. The owner said he would agree to pay the labor for injectors, but he would not pay labor on hub or the rental car. I told him it was there fault my truck had to be towed, causing me to get a rental. He agreed to give me refund for 1 day of car rental. He said, "its not my fault you need wheels on the weekend". At that point I knew it was going no where. So I toId told them to give me my money and I would never be back and I would surely let everyone know what kind of shit show they are running there! As of 11/20/15- my engine light came on again. Took it back to the shop where they fixed my injector and hub and they determined my lift pump was bad, which they said was directly related to the stress it indured when the injector and "missing" pieces we on. So now, I have to pay $600 for the pump, plus labor and a rental car! read more
