    So far, I've had my air conditioner fixed, upper control arms replaced, rear differential seal…read morereplaced, (one more thing no longer leaking, thank God!), 2 oil changes, all my spark plugs replaced and my front two turn signals replaced. Upcoming I have all four shocks going to be replaced and my rear main seal as well (last thing that's leaking!!)....all together, STILL less than $5k and that's including the parts! Nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE has been as dependable, responsible, flexible or saved me as much money as this young man has managed to do in all the years I've had automobiles fixed! He's cleaned and wiped off grease and gunk left by other garages, wiped off his greasy handprints (lol because he knows that's a pet peeve of mine on my white jeep) and been there when no one else would work on my car. Sundays? No problem! After business hours? No problem! Scheduling me during a holiday weekend so I can save my vacation days? No problem! If you're taking your business elsewhere, you're simply nuts. And worst of all? You're throwing good money away. My rear main seal requires him to drop my transmission! That's a huge job! Elsewhere it would've cost me just that job alone over $5k! On a jeep? Definitely! You won't find a more honest, down-to-earth, kind-hearted, hard working mechanic anywhere around with such a flexible schedule. Flexibility in other shops are limited but the owner's reluctance to pay their mechanics for working hours outside of their business hours. Erik IS THE BUSINESS OWNER and THE MECHANIC, so he has the flexibility to work WHEN he wants! And often enough, he's kind enough to move those hours around to fit people like me in. Save yourself some $$$$ and headaches and go see him and compare. You'll end up being sorry you didn't do it much sooner!

    If I could give zero stars I would... they completely fu**ed me over. Went in with a starter issue…read moreluckily after driving the truck from Orlando back to Gainsville the DAY before, went home went to school got to apartment the next day bam starter went out. Didn't think much of it they "replaced" it in a couple of hours the day after. Go to pick the truck up and the thing won't even start. Im furious as why would you give me a truck with a starter issue that still doesn't start when you give it back. Older guy walks me to my truck "cranks" the truck by stepping on BRAKE AND GAS at the same time presses on button and bam white smoke projecting everywhere. That was never an issue owening my truck as I drive from Granville to Ft. Lauderdale, Melbourne, fort myers, all over Florida literally with no issue. They said it would take about a week to fix, said they would get it in the day after which was a Thursday, didn't start on it till the following Monday. "Oh we have to ship out your headers to make sure they aren't worn" doesn't do it until that following Thursday and then have to wait till Monday to hear again. Mind you this has been two weeks always telling me it'll take a couple more days and pushing the date back. Next thing was, it was supposed to be done the DAY before spring break where I live in Fort Lauderdale 4:30 hours away. Tell me to come in at three, then oh come in at 6. I'm on my way to pick up my truck and get a call, it won't be done till next Monday. Another cherry on top. So guess what had to bus home and waited another TWO weeks for my truck to be done only to get it in a condition that was worse. I have rock light in my wheels and guess what I found out they screwed that up too. I have pictures of before and after, before my lights worked, now none of them do. I have black wires dangling from the bottoms of my truck from them trying to rewire it all which means they screwed that up and lied to me about it. NEVER once told me about the rewire of the truck which obviously contributed to the delay of my trucks return. They were never honest and screwed everything up only for none of it to work. My starter to this day still goes in and out and sometimes doesn't start my truck. Please stay away from this place. Not to mention a year before that, owned a BMW that the front right axel came off. The repaired it quickly only for three days later it to basically come off again and they told me "oh yeah we found a screw that wasn't tightened all the way". This is by far the worst experience I've had at a place and trust me when I say IVE HAD PLENTY. Genuinely lucky I didnt report them to the BBA or anything like that. Please stay away.

My daughter took her vehicle in for a nail in the tire, we ended up with four new tires. The car entered the garage without body damage and exited the garage with a significant dent, scratch, and paint removed on the driver side rear passenger area. The supervisor there stated they would take care of us and sent her to get an estimate on body repair. She went to two places, and the estimate was emailed. They assured us that they take care of their customers and they would take care of this. The manager came in a few days later and stated that it could not have happened in the garage because her car had white paint on it and that somebody must have hit it in the parking lot and therefore it is our responsibility. I have always thought once you give someone your keys at a service department, what happens to the car during that time is their responsibility. I have no idea what happened when the technician parked the car in the parking lot and drove it in and out of the garage. We filed a claim with Firestone and the claims department denied it stating that it must have been hit in the parking lot. Bottom line is we lost and we have to report it to our insurance company and pay the deductible. They did offer to pay the deductible, but we have not seen any follow up on that. The decision was made by two people who were not there during the incident and minimal consideration was given to the customer. So therefore the customer is wrong and Firestone is right and the burden is on us. My mother always said that this world is not fair and don't expect it to be, but it sure is hard sometimes. We hate to stop using the Carrollwood location but they really left us no choice. Trying to accept the injustice here and just move on. Thanks for reading.

    I feel a 1 star is more then they deserve. My daughter who is 25, had fuel leaking on her motor on…read morea Saturday which made her car die. Her regular mechanic was closed but she needed her car fixed. She called this Firestone, told them what was going on with her car, and they told her they would look at it asap. She got it towed to Firestone. She got a call the next day on Sunday and was told that the technician that was working was not experienced enough to do any type of thorough inspection and that they needed to wait until Monday morning when the more experienced mechanic was back at work and that her car would be the first in line for inspection. As Monday morning came and went, she never received a phone call, so she finally called them, just for them to say that they can't do anything and she should just take her car to her regular mechanic. She then had to call another tow service to have her car towed again to her regular mechanic, once the tow truck showed up, This FIRESTONE called my daughter and said that they would not release her keys until she paid for their diagnostic. She told them that nobody did any work and they only informed her of the same information she just told them 2 days prior. In my opinion this is EXTREMELY SHADY BUSINESS, I would advise people to avoid this place.

These guys Told us how long it would take gave a very descriptive diagnosis and two days later we are blowing cold air once again. The price was very fair for what they did new ac compressor flushed the system and new belts. I would recommend their services and would use in the future which will most likley be my go to for services.

They tell you exactly what you need and nothing more. Their pricing is very competitive in that I believe it was fair and service was good. They provide you with a quote and breakdown via text message that leads to a website with price of parts and labor for each thing. You could even text their number, which was great. The main reason why I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of communication. When I called about my car that was towed there, I asked about turnaround and expectations. Now, when I got there, they had a lot of cars in their lot. I definitely did not mind that it took longer than expected. I didn't call or check-in every day but I did try to get updates bc I needed to know if I needed to get a rental. I wasn't given turnaround time and with the games and events happening in Gainesville it got too late for me to get a rental. I honestly felt like they were purposefully not answering me or answering me at the end of the work day. I know I could've just gotten it but one of team members I know was truly trying to save me money by telling me to hold off on getting a rental until I heard from them. I ended up not getting a rental which was difficult with work. I ended up asking for some leniency at work and would bike (which was scary on Archer), but it was fine. I am very grateful and would definitely come here again but now I just have no expectations with regard to their communication.

We also stated it was our only vehicle and would need it then. Almonds called us week later to explain we needed a new manifold & the price. We told them to go ahead with the repair & we would be back at the end of the following week. They called us again 4 days before we were to return to tell us they lost our truck keys, so they had not started the repair yet. 2 hours later they called to say they found our keys. We told them again we would be in late that same week for the truck. Jan 16, Friday, we called to pay for the repair by phone, so we could pickup our truck Saturday . We were told they had not even started our repair yet! I scrambled to call around to find a rental car for the weekend. I finally found one available at Budget-it cost $300! We drove there first thing Monday, only to find they had just pulled our truck into the shop then proceeded told us that they had no idea when they would finish the job that it could take a few more days! I was very upset and told him how he cost us money and he did not care. He admitted he lost the keys and waited 5 days before calling us to tell us! He also admitted he failed to get our truck into the shop in over 3 weeks time, knowing we were coming back to no vehicle and he then admitted not having anyone let us know it was still not completed or why. No follow up, no customer service. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL. JUST AN OBSTINTANT and ARROGANT ATTITUDE. ONLY INCOMPETANCE FROM THE START. I would not trust this place, as they have proven to be unreliable and incompetent when you need them most!
