We didn't realize we needed to bring dog food when we dropped off Abigail but Theresa was flexible with providing it. Usually, with the boarding we have done with Altavista and Petsmart, we wouldn't need dog food but at least now we know next time. Theresa also had other dogs there and when we picked up Abigail, we noticed how much calmer our dog was. I think it did her a world of good to play with the other dogs. Given the reasonable prices, we would definitely use this pet sitting service for overnight and doggie day care. She also takes credit cards which is convenient!

She is so friendly and keeps us very well-informed about our older kitty, who does not like to be alone. The toys are made from natural fibers so you can feel safe when your baby chews on them, unlike some of the imported toys. Be sure to check these out and support a local business. How would they know what to do if they had never been to my apartment before? Randy (the owner) came to my apartment before the first visit and took copious notes about what to do. He asked that I buy a lock box on Amazon and place it somewhere in the garage of my building with my keys inside for the pet sitter. I'm used to giving my keys to my pet sitters, but this is actually pretty convenient because it means that I can get my key back right away when I come home. There have been a couple pet sitters who have been to my place, but Anna has been there the most. All of them post updates with photos that appear on the app that you can download on your smartphone (you also get an email copy of this as well). I feel like Anna has really gotten to know my kitty and I appreciate that she really seems to enjoy spending time with her. The other convenient thing about this pet sitter is that you can request the dates of your pet sits online and also you can pay for them with credit card afterwards.

So it had been awhile since I'd utilized Jet Pet, but I remembered loving them previously and trusted them again while I was away in NYC for a wedding with my husband. I left my kids and my older dog, Georgia with my father in law for the weekend, but decided to treat Neymar, my 8 month old puppy, to a staycation at JPR. Based on the report card I received, the pictures that were posted, and how tired Neymar was when I picked him up five days later, he had an absolute blast! I swear - he was sad to leave when I drove him home! I'll definitely return for boarding... and perhaps even some doggy daycare too. While we were working on this, Kristie also helped us with some basic command refinements with all 3 of our dogs. One of our dogs needed a little confidence boost, and she taught us how to work with him to strengthen this. Kristie is clear in her instructions to the humans and is patient with answering questions and modeling how to give commands and corrections. She built a positive relationship with our dogs and with us. We have enjoyed the experience and appreciate the changes in our dogs' behavior.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!
