I would recommend using ANY State Farm office other than this circus show here. Doing business with…read moreTom Richard's State Farm is like going to one of those restaurants where they insult you on purpose for entertainment. When you call Tom Richard's, you may receive the following: getting hung up on, yelled at, condescending statements, an utter failure to take responsibility for State Farm not billing you for 3 months, being refused to talk to the actual agent with your concerns, having to force corporate to launch a full investigation into the agency, incompetence abroad, lack of communication, lack of professionalism, and general excessive drama... over insurance. From June to August 23rd of 2022, Tom Richard's failed to bill me for 3 months but retained coverage. I called on July 1st, 2022, to notify the agency that I have received zero bills (and my app says "no bills due") and the "Customer Service Agent" said "no worries, that bill will drop just look for it." She did not even check on it... this is important. That statement was her taking responsibility. Fast forward to August 23rd, I had to call AGAIN with the same person who FINALLY decides to do the bare minimum and check on it. She acts as if State Farm did nothing wrong & didn't drop the ball (and that she didn't do her job) and then used the following phrases to blame me (the customer) for not paying bills... that aren't... available: "you know you have this bill due every month, you should have called in more often," "you're trying to blame State Farm for not paying your bills," "you're riding around on insurance by the Grace of State Farm," and "you will not talk to the actual agent, you'll talk to the office manager." After calling corporate and filing complaints, they have launched a full investigation into the lack of professionalism, lack of competency, and general terrible customer relationships. I've spoken with multiple corporate agents and they were abhorred at the unprovoked comments from their employee, as well as other local agencies that were abhorred by their treatment and incompetence. Other former customers I know also noted their lack of communication and randomly cancelling their coverage. Why should customers have to chase down office drones who can barely function to do their bare minimal jobs on a computer, only to be insulted & hung up on?
