Love Magda Williams but the ladies in the reception desk are a big issue, especially the one lady with the red hair. She was very rude to me and was lowkey arguing with me the whole time I was talking to her. I was speaking to her nicely the whole time and she continued to argue with me. The issue was that my insurance on their end was inactive so I nicely said that I would call a family member to confirm the issue but she didn't seem to understand me since she kept cutting me off and insisting that I call my insurance for her so that she could speak to them. She then asked to speak to my family member even when I said that it's not the insurance and was lowkey rushing me even when there wasn't anyone else in the office. Afterwards she later argued why I didn't call the insurance and I told her again that I was calling my family member since they helped me set it up so idk what the hell her issue is but she don't deserve to be in the reception desk if she don't like it. read more

Went in today with a sinus infection and they call me in a prescription. No problem great so far. I went home and went to bed, and missed a call from the practice. That is when it went downhill. The office manager thought I didn't pay enough on my co-pay so they called the pharmacy and revoked my prescription until he collected more money. Not sure if that is legal holding a prescription hostage. I paid the additional money and asked to be called back. When I asked about holding the prescription hostage he hung up on me. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Williams since around 2011. She takes her time with all 4 of us, respects each person's unique sensitivities, personal beliefs and addresses all concerns thoroughly. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, gentle and loving towards me and my children. I personally have had great service and excellent care for years from this office. Dr. Williams is wonderful . Yes, sometimes she has fill in Doctors and Nurse Practitioners. To be expected at an urgent care that offers walk-ins. In the past I would have lost my job while juggling three kids' crazy schedules and work if it weren't for the available Saturday appointments. Sometimes you can't get in on short notice but that's common in any practice. Dr. Kemp sometimes fills in and is a former surgeon. He was so helpful, funny and nice. Then there was Dr.Smith who was one of the best and treated me so kindly after a severely painful debilitating injury with a long recovery. Dr. Williams' husband and niece work in the office and they are both very accommodating as well as attentive. We love and trust Dr. Williams. She's the best. read more

I had previously put this review as a great review. However, 20 years later with consistently ever changing staff in the front changing most recently, miscommunications of information, canceling appointments for autoimmune diseases and allowing a patient to be without their regular prescriptions for 1 week that can be detrimental to ones health, and a billing manager who enjoys arguing for something he's not understand and ASSUMING a 34 year old is incompetent (wasn't in the medical field herself or even understanding of benefits as a quadrupled degreed individual from a post graduate university). Finally, a doctor that cares. Professional, pleasant, not in a rush, answered all my questions and had questions of her own. Her staff is great, they are extremely well trained. Received a call the day before my appointment to confirm date and time. I forgot my lab work when I left the office and called back that I'd return the next day for a copy...walked in and was greeted by first name and had the copy of my lab work at the front desk. Excellent bedside manner by a caring doctor. Cannot say or praise her more....absolutely the best!!! read more

I have been a patient of Dr Williams for 13 yrs I have never seen such incompetent office staff ever. Worthless irresponsible young females. They don't even have electronic records yet. Pharmacy sends them 3 refill authorizations they approve none of them and say they didn't even get them. stay clear. Hate lieiing females, specially when they are caught. Dr Williams is a great MD, sadly she is surrounded by CLOWNS, as a ex Pharmacist its very sad to see as I have worked with these types in many Pharmacies here in Arizona. read more

Okay so I haven't been to the doctor in forever, but I remember having to wait ridiculous lengths of time in the waiting room the last time I went and then at least another 20 minutes before the doctor came in to see me. But when I was here the other day, I think it only took about 10 minutes to be called back and perhaps another 10 before the doctor (Dr. Cohen) came in. Not bad, huh? I thought he was really nice and friendly, and would come back again if the need arises. The front desk staff was pleasant too, and that just isn't always the case in doctor's offices! read more

Please, if you really need a good doctor and have sincere medical concerns, do not even waste your time with this doctor! I visited her for my first appointment about a week ago for a long list of health problems I have been having to live with and need help with getting treatment since the I got pregnant with my son a year and a half ago but couldn't be helped in pregnancy due to restrictions of exercise and drugs. I present her with a long list, which she just sat down and repeated uhuh, ok, uhuh My biggest problems are the day to day pain I live in due to many spinal problems, injuries, knee issues and injuries (I have really bad joints) and also my hypothyroidism. She didn't even do anything for me as requested for my pain which was to go to physical therapy and pain management after getting updated mri's and xrays, and only ordered a partial lab for my thyroid even though I've had it for 7 years (..apparently she wanted a baseline reading to see if I even have it, which I've had for years diagnosed by specialists in the endocrinology field) All other things I brought up to her, I could've cared less about, if she had actually paid attention to immediate problems! She also ordered unnecessary tests to be done like a chest xray (no problems there and nothing explained to me of why it was ordered) I called the office right after my appointment and spoke to her nurse about what I needed to get done. Her response "no problem, she will get in touch with you tomorrow" tomorrow came, and nothing. So today is now Monday and I call in to follow up with my request and apparently the doctor wants a follow up scheduled to handle these issues in 3 WEEKS WHEN SHE GETS BACK FROM VACATION!" VACATION??? I have immediate health concerns and she suddenly leaves for 3 weeks without giving patients any notice? So the gentlemen in the office offered to schedule me in with another doctor until then. No, sir why under these horrible circumstances would I stay with your practice, this has been a horrible experience with a horrible doctor! His response "your right, I completely understand. Bye." Staff rude, doctor not attentive to medical needs and concers, no bedside manner, no courtesy for patients, schedules unnecessary tests, outdated medical equipment, dirty office and patient rooms etc. POINT IS: DON'T EVER TRUST THIS DOCTOR, OR PRACTICE they don't even deserve one star...going back to my regular, 100% trustworthy doctor...Dr. Rotella in Scottsdale! read more

Dr. Williams is NEVER IN THE OFFICE. She Always has "Fill -In" Doctors due to her being "Out of Town". The staff does not tell you this until you have waited 45min. It is VERY DIFFICULT to have a prescription filled by the "Fill In Doctors" due to the fact they write it on the address of Dr. Williams and their actual practice is elsewhere. The Pharmacist can not fill a script with out the Actual Correct information for a doctor that is required by Arizona State Law. This interferes with the Well Being of the Patient. read more

I love Dr. Williams and have been seeing her for about fifteen years. Her wait times are a little extensive, but you can tell that she really cares about her patients. She spends as much time as is needed to make me feel comfortable with any questions I have and always remembers my kids and family and medical history. I absolutely adore her and continue to go even though I know I will have to wait. It's worth it to have a doctor who truly cares about your well being and is willing to do whatever it takes to see you well. read more

Was looking for a Dr for my annual check and didnt have anyone so I chose these guys because of the proximity to work. Decent experience, had same day appointment and didnt have to wait long first time in for a physical. Second time in had to wait an hour because of an emergency, not in their control I assume. I do feel like it is more of an Urgent Care. I gave them a 4 for now as I wait for labs and follow-up from the office. I have a sub-Dr and not Williams. read more

Even though I was early for my appointment, and the waiting room was empty, it still took 50 minutes for the doctor to see me. She was "busy" training medical students, there in the office. She only came in to see me after I came out of the room looking for the doctor (after 45 minutes), whom I had yet to meet, and this was my third visit. During the previous two visits I was without warning handed-off to a NP. During this third and FINAL visit I made mention of my time constraint 1) while making my appt 2) while checking into the office 3) to the nurse that led me to the room and 4) to the med student that came in to "assess me"....all to no avail. If it was possible to give no stars I would. Dr. Williams is literally the worst Dr. I have ever been to in my life! I was in her office 3 times in 2 weeks for the exact same symptoms, which she told me was just allergies; yet she proceeded to prescribe me 2 different antibiotics, a steroid, cough syrup, ibuprofen, and an inhaler...none of which worked!!! I was literally in tears from coughing so much on my 3rd visit, and asked her if they could check me for Valley Fever...she actually told me that there was no treatment for Valley Fever so it didn't matter...WHAT?! So then I asked her what could be wrong with me if she didn't think it was Valley Fever and nothing she had given me so far had worked. She told me she still thought it was allergies. I just shook my head in disbelief, she told me that I should go see another Dr. and not come back...NO PROBLEM YOU QUACK!!! I left there and went directly to a Health clinic in a Walgreens. I told them everything that happened, they actually looked at my throat, nose, ears and listened to my chest...guess what they came up with...Bronchitis...NOT ALLERGIES! Dr. Williams is a wonderful doctor, very knowledgeable and truly caring. I have been her patient for so many years now, and multiple times her diagnosis is right on. She is very thorough and cares about the person, not just the symptoms/condition. I have very high respect for her!
