Will not help or sell parts unless you are a contractor. Went out of my way for nothing. They need to advertise this !

We had a lift truck repaired by Mac's. They used refurbished parts. I assume they did not give back…read morethe old parts because they must have used them for a core charge return. The refurbished parts did not last long and we had the same issues again. They charged us to redo the repair with a lengthy rental charge while they were fixing our machine. I would request parts back (I believe state law requires it) and ask for a warranty on repairs/parts if you deal with them. This was a very expensive lesson learned.

Beware of this company. I brought my forklift battery…read morecharger in for repair. I paid the $45 diagnostic fee. They told me I was a bad transformer and could not be repaired and attempted to to sell me a $450 used unit. I came to pick up my old unit and they kept trying to convince me to give them the old unit and they would refund th $45 dollar fee. I declined. They took 15 minutes to bring me back my old unit. When I got it back i discovered the controller card had been taken from my old unit. When confronted about it they said "I don't see why all the fuss over a scrap charger" then returned my control card. I reinstalled the card and took the charger to Earls Battery Service in Fraser, MI. They gave me a loaner unit to use why they checked my unit. They called me the next business day to tell me my charger was repaired. It was a bad wire and cost me $80 dollars. Mac service in my opinion is a very dishonest company and will try to rip you off

Gen Pro LLC is a fantastic generator service company. As an owner-owned business, they ensure…read moretop-quality service and professionalism from their highly skilled technicians. During this recent ice storm, Gen Pro got my generator up and running, and kept me informed throughout the process. They showed up when needed even though it was late in the evening. I highly recommend them for all your generator needs.

I had a Kohler whole house generator and auto transfer switch installed by Shawn and his team…read more They are truly professionals and treated my house like it was their own. They even swept up after themselves when they were done. I mentioned to Shawn about not leaving the doors open to keep the cat from running out and he incorporated my concerns into his kick off huddle with his team before they started. It's worth noting that I previously had a Lowes contractor give me a price for a generator install. Not only did the local Lowes contractor tell some fibs about what was required because of the Michigan Building Code (which I rebutted because I know the code and I offered a copy for him to show me the section right on the spot ) I was offered a lesser quality Generac generator (even after I told him I wanted Kohler) and a small limited circuit manual transfer switch. Nevertheless I sent him on his way and called Shawn. I have never looked back. Not only was Shawn's price reasonable he was lower than the other contractor and I got what I wanted to which was a Koehler generator and whole house automatic transfer switch so I didn't have to pick and choose what I wanted on the panel I am a contractor so I know the system. I highly recommend you call gen pro and talk with Shawn
