I never in my 30 plus years of buying firewood (up north jersey) was so disappointed in the quality then I was today!!!! We tried Cory's sausage gravy croissant, raspberry chocolate croissant with fresh raspberries on top and a scone that I can't remember the name of the flavor. The sausage gravy croissant was buttery, flaky, savory and flavorful. The raspberry chocolate was a deadly delicious combo and the scone was moist, glazed nicely and just sweet enough. Thats one of the many great things about 29 Hance's products, they are not cloyingly sweet but definitely satisfies a sweet tooth. This week, 29 Hance was at Pie Girl in Hightstown, NJ. I've been to Pie Girl before, reviewed them already and their baked goods are phenomenal as well. This week we got blueberry cake donuts, chocolate cake donuts, raspberry brownies, a creme brulee croissant, strawberry shortcake donuts and crookies which is a combo of cookie dough baked inside a croissant. We haven't tried all of this week's haul yet but the chocolate cake donut was super chocolatey, moist and tasted great! Between 29 Hance Bakehouse and Pie Girl I feel like Im becoming a sort of baking girl groupie!
