We were seeking medical attention due to what we believed to be severe swelling following a severe sunburn, but there was very little supportive care provided. Despite identifying a fever, there were no fluids, fever-reducing medication, or follow-up temperature checks. There were also no routine reassessments or check-ins to monitor our condition throughout the visit. Additionally, the diagnostic process felt very vague. Very few questions were asked to determine the cause of the symptoms, including basic questions about allergies, recent use of new products, changes in diet, or the extent of sun exposure. This lack of thorough evaluation made it difficult to feel confident in the care being given. When the diagnosis was explained, the information provided was vague and left many questions unanswered. Overall, the experience felt impersonal, lacked the level of care and communication we expected, and left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

I…read morewent in to the emergency room after a visit patient first who told me that I had a lot of anomalies in my blood work along with a few other issues and they sent me straight to the emergency room. When I got there, they ran the initial blood tests and everything as well and found all of the same bloodwork anomalies. Well, all of the nurses in the ER were super nice, super helpful and helped me tremendously since I was by myself for quite some time. My boyfriend showed up and stayed with me until they were just getting ready to take me to a room, which was at 2 AM in the morning. So technically I'd sat in the ER room for 10 hours but because of all of the test testing and everything it pretty much went quickly. And I sent my boyfriend home around midnight to take care of our dogs. Anyways, the bathrooms in the ER we're fairly clean and well stocked. But you're also sharing bathrooms with 100 other people lol. When I finally got to my room, the nurse that was assigned to me on Night Shift got me hooked up to multiple multiple. IVs took vials and vials of blood and all the while making me feel very much at ease. I had this particular nurse for two nights in a row and she was nothing but sweet and kind. She allowed me to sleep through some of the things she had to do to get my vitals and everything. I ended up staying three nights and was allowed to be released Tuesday late evening. All of the food was not terrible lol not that I ate all that much. And the lady who delivered my food three times a day was the most happiest lady I've ever met. The only thing I hated was that because of all the IV lines and medication's and vials of blood being taken from me. I only had a short walk from my bed into the bathroom and couldn't even shut the door and had to wash my hands in the room because I couldn't even reach the sink in the bathroom. The doctor that was on the floor for most of my visit I found him kind of cocky at first, but as I got to know him better and was able to ask questions he turned out to be a pretty good guy. For those who were wondering, I had taken some water pills at home that were verbal apparently that depleted a lot of stuff in my system, including potassium, sodium, etc. So they got that fixed. Then the day before I was released, they found out I had pneumonia and had been misdiagnosed with bronchitis several weeks before and was on the wrong medication's and because that doctor had recommended me take Tylenol when I started running a fever somehow or other, I managed to overdose on Tylenol because it not only was in pill form, but it was also in other medication's. They had given me for the bronchitis so I had a whole lot of things going on, but I made it through. Happy to be home. I know this is a lot to read, but this is and was my experience.

Having moved to King…read moreWilliam County almost 2 years ago, it was time to transition to a provider location that is more convenient. Location- this is a medical center located in the heart of the Central Garage area of King William. I refer to this area as "Downtown King William ". Right off of route 30 behind where Romas Italian Restaurant, you will find plenty of parking right at the medical center, many spaces are specified for patient parking only. The office - This is one level, so it's mobility accessible. When you enter, you are in the waiting area of the medical center, and to the left there are three desk/cubicles for check-in. There is a lab within the facility (its not LabCorp), which is very convenient. Service- I was greeted almost immediately upon entering, and getting checked in was very efficient. After registering, I was asked to have a seat and that someone would come from a specific door and call my name. I had just sat down when that happened. The providers I encountered were professional and courteous. Outcomes- the reason for my visit was established and concerns addressed, I felt like my provider and I had a meaningful discussion and they had a good plan and course of action for my situation. Overall I am very pleased with this medical office and look forward to a healthy relationship with my Healthcare provider.
