We have put off getting a living trust for years. This year I made a promise that I would finally do it. A friend from work recommended Williamson & Gentilini so we called them and set up an appointment with Richard Williamson. This law firm specializes in estate planning and trusts and made the process very straightforward. Essentially, there was 3 steps in the process. They send you a online questionnaire to identify your beneficiaries, successor trustees, power of attorney, and bank accounts. Then you have an initial meeting with the attorney who goes over your responses on the questionnaire to make sure of your choices and explain what a living trust is and is not. Then a final meeting after a few weeks takes place to go over the completed living trust and sign the documents. Richard explained how everything worked, what our responsibilities were post trust completion, and made the whole process a pleasure. The cost of getting the Living Trust prepared is reasonable and if you are a referred client there is a generous discount applied.
