Came here to have a living trust done. Was referred by family who came to this office. We were paired with Christina and she was great! She was able to guide us through the process, decisions and necessary steps to finalize everything. The whole process was straightforward, easy to understand and we highly recommend going through them. I am only giving four stars instead of five, because scheduling was difficult for us. Unless you have a standard 9-to-5 schedule unlike my husband, it is hard to get appointments a few days in advance and unfortunately they are always booked / not flexible when it comes to hectic schedules that are unpredictable. My wife called to make an appointment and was told that most of the services would be paid by MetLaw. I'll be honest, going into it I wasn't expecting much due to the services being covered, but Richard and the employees there, (all family), exceeded my expectations. Richard spent an hour and a half discussing our options, explaining the process, and reviewing what the future would look like for our beneficiaries. We came back a week later and he had a book full of important documents with dividers so things will be easy to find when the time is come to use it. Again, he spent another hour going over the binder, what to include in it and even what to say when we make changes to our bank accounts. Richard is a great guy, very knowledgeable and Estate planning is all he does. Very thorough and easy to follow process and you walk away with a binder that is an encyclopedia of what you need to know (and more importantly what your survivors/Executor needs to know, that will allow you to understand what you did years from now (not just in the office when you are there). It was a very easy, clear process. I was dreading doing this and was expecting a depressing, time consuming legal maze to wade through. Instead, it was a 2 visit and done, pleasant, easy process and in plain English. Richard made it all very easy to understand the "who, what, when and why" and had some excellent insight on how to think about things. My Father's estate, who spent a fortune with an attorney to get his estate and will done, was a complete mess and took thousands of dollars in additional fees to straighten out. I have high confidence my heirs will not have any issues with my estate plan from Richard. What a wonderful experience! Not only was it fruitful and painless, but I learned SO much. I recently found out that my life insurance wouldn't pay out to my kids until they're 18 years old! I've had to call this office twice, two years apart, regarding questions about my parents estate planning documents created by Mr. Williamson who I'm sure did a great job with their estate planning. My review is on the office staff. The two women I've spoken to. I have left the call in tears TWICE from their rudeness lack of empathy and professionalism. Who spends 12 minutes trying to dissuade someone from coming in and paying for an actual appointment. "Oh well you'll have to wait four weeks". Ok. "And you'll need to send a letter of incapacitation for your father". Ok when can I book that appointment. "Oh and we don't handle..." SERIOUSLY!??? How about you just let me make an appointment and talk to an actual attorney instead of front desk staff that's incompetently giving legal advice over the phone with NO facts nor documents. DO NOT DEAL with this office if you are a trustee. Go elsewhere to a different trust planning attorney who will actual be helpful and may even offer condolences for the loss of a parent (bc that's when trustees are calling law offices). I will literally refer people to not come here. You ladies should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treat people. The opposite of kindness. It's really a sad and despicable thing. read more
