Please do not be fooled that this is a reputable nursery. They are probably fine for purchasing a cut Christmas tree but I definitely would not recommend them for any landscaping projects.

There is a ton of lumber (check it carefully - it is sometimes stored outside and gets rained on), hardware, kitchen appliances and toilets. If you have the skills, they have the stuff you can turn loose on your house. Or for me, van. If you can do your shopping at a more local hardware store like Blackhawk Hardware, please do. But today I'm in Steele Creek and this was convenient or I would have gone there. The new lumber I needed ended up working out well, possibly even better than what I had originally planned. I've had nothing but difficulty with Home Depot ever since. So far, I have had to purchase two different kinds of paint because the lady at the paint counter sold me the wrong type of paint for my bathroom ceiling. She assured me it was the right kind but, it was not. It is not returnable. I am out $45 for that unusable paint. I had to return a side splash for my vanity last night (Not Home Depot's fault) and the two people at customer service acted as if I was an inconvenience and interrupting their conversation. I also asked for information on where I could locate a certain item in the store and his response was, "I guess it's on aisle two." It was not on aisle two. I roamed that store looking for what I needed and never saw a single person to ask for help. I have been nothing but disappointed with Home Depot. Once I make my final payment on my expensive bathroom vanity, I will be closing my Home Depot credit card and exclusively shopping at Lowes.

The lady at the UPS store apologized. I called around to Office Depot & U-Haul and went to two other stores before I found exactly what I needed at Lowes, PLUS they offer a 10% Vet discount. Lowes, yes it's a big box store but somebody needs to give Home Depot some completion to keep prices in check, plus they are a huge employer in the state of NC creating jobs and stimulating the economy.
