They are right on the water and catch the fish so you know it's fresh. We got salmon, shrimp and crab legs. The snow crab legs were frozen. They also had frozen shrimp and whole frozen lobster. I saw scallops in the fridge too. So excited to get home and cook! read more

We were looking for a reasonably priced seafood market with quality products and found it here. We selected red snapper filets, both head-on jumbo and head-off large shrimp, and frozen alligator meat to bring back from vacation. The staff were attentive and friendly. The items were well packaged for our drive home. Upon our arrival we tried the shrimp and it was delicious. Such a bargain for quality fresh fish and seafood!! read more

If you want fresh seafood, this is the place to go. They have freaky caught seafood on ice. Since it's almost all caught locally, selection can vary from day to day. It's not a big place, but the seafood is amazing. We got quite a bit of shrimp for scampi and loved it, but they had a great variety of seafood for a small market. Quite a few of my friends recommended the place. Parking is easy to find. Even if there is a line, it moves quickly. The gentlemen that own or run the place were friendly and helpful. Love this local business. They work hard & its important to support those that work so hard day in day out. Their salmon on Thursday's is like we went fishing in Alaska or BC. Craving perfection of the grill with lemon pepper off a cedar plank. Shrimp is way better than other places. I found out some seafood suppliers locally (Destin) are treating their shrimp with a substance to make them last longer- it makes them so salty their inedible so we only buy shrimp here lately. Maybe make sure the tuna is actually caught that day or what the best possible is when making sushi bc a few times it has not been sushi fresh but it was fine on the grill. Love the older guy there that does a great job with fillet & making it however you want it. I trust him to take care of us as fresh quality seafood is one of the ways to stay healthy always has been. read more

Tonight when I went in they had whole pompano and red snapper, a few different shrimp, hogfish, tuna, Florida lobster, grouper, oysters, mahi mahi and forgot anything else. Bought fresh fish on a Saturday and jumbo shrimp 21ct/ 10.99 lb. When cleaning shrimp there was such a wide variety of sizes that we counted 70 shrimp in the 2 lbs! Went back on Sunday and thought we'd try it again. Saw the shrimp display had a lot of melted ice. The pricing was significantly lower per lb. (Maybe because they close on Mondays?) again we bought several fish items and decided on 1 lb of head on shrimp and the clerk didn't charge for it due to yesterday's shortage. He said he'd de-head the shrimp and we should get about 30 in the lb. and we thought that would be enough. We got home and counted 12! Be fully aware when they count and weigh the shrimp! Different clerks but same problem. I'm going to try a different market. read more

Supporting local fisherman/businessmen is the way to go. Plus you get fresh seafood! These guys are super nice and the prices are very reasonable. Not huge as I doubt they get the traffic to allow enough fresh stock to turn over. They have a variety of shrimp to choose from as well as different types of fish depending on what's fresh. It is tough to notice their sign and the store is back from the road toward the water so you have to be looking for this place on purpose. read more

This is my go to place to buy seafood in the Niceville area. Always a decent selection. Shrimp, fish, oysters. Service is great. Product is super fresh. They are right off John Sims coming from Valp toward Niceville on the right. You'll notice their sign right by the "road" which is essentially a driveway. You drive down to a small little shack right off the bay and buy yourself the best seafood in the area. Yum! read more

I didn't go into the store, but my husband said it was a neat little place. I do know that the head-on shrimp he brought home was some of the freshest, best tasting shrimp I've had in a long while. We made a low boil with some crab we caught today and the shrimp was just as fresh. We'll be back to try something else! read more

We used to love Willinghams because it was a locally owned/ operated place with good seafood. The last couple times the latter hasn't been the case. On our last trip there, 60% of the shrimp was good. However the other 40% was water logged and mangled as if they had mixed old shrimp with fresh shrimp. Additionally, the bag was full of shrimp heads that didn't go with the shrimp in the bag which is annoying when paying by the pound. I went back hoping they would redeem themselves with some good customer service (discount/new shrimp) to no avail. It makes me sad to post this because it was a tradition of mine to go there when I came home to visit...but from now on we are going elsewhere. read more
