The shopping center is anchored by the Walmart. There is also a Dollar Tree, liquor store, mobile phone store, pizza, shoes, nail salon and a bunch more. Given the proximity to our home, we've been visiting here quite a few times. Aside from loving the easy location, I must mention that the best part of this strip is the lake and sitting areas located behind Spice Asian Kitchen, Napa and Taco Molino. All very brown, almost industrial...I'd say it's one of the most masculine looking shopping strips. The thing I don't like is how busy it is! By 5:45 pm, parking lots are packed...and the place is just a tad too busting at times...often with many kids. However, it has this near picturesque lake scene (complete with ducks, even a fake waterfall!) in the back that we really enjoy! If only there weren't office buildings behind that lake. :\ We usually get ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery after dining somewhere in this super-busy complex (So many restaurants here!), walk out to the lake, sit on one of their many comfy loungers and enjoy our dessert with a view. The mall itself is largely unchanged outside and in with the exception of closed stores. Upon entry at foodcourt you can look up the second floor and see the theatre no longer operates. There was one visible closed off entry inside to detached store I think was sporting goods before but no others. There is Belk, Dillards, JC Penny's and distinctly remember a dedicated Pandora store. In the old Sears building is now Rural King, farm equipment. There is a Costco not part of the mall but built very near behind. I wasn't sure what to expect walking inside, but to my pleasant surprise it seems to be a surviving mall for now. Come to this location for some centralized shopping and keep our malls going.

I'm out of a common brand of bagged cat food.It's Purina Cat Chow Gentle. It's the only dry cat food that she can tolerate. Tiger ( my cat ) wandered up to my house about five years ago. The vet said she was about two weeks old. Tiger was severely dehydrated; malnourished, and had three kinds of worms! Our vet did not know if she would survive! She promised me that she would do everything in her power to help this baby but it's going to depend on her will to live! She did recover and grow into beautiful cat! The problem is that all of her early distress caused her to have a sensitive stomach! She can only tolerate the Purina. The shelf space for cat food was so wiped out! I also wanted to buy some cat litter. The reasonably priced stuff was gone! All that was left was the super expensive stuff so I passed! All four major department stores Macy's, Belk, JC Penny's, Dillard are housed here. Having a Cheesecake Factory on-site is clout enough. There are three escalators, one at each end and in middle. Our trip was during a Saturday night in November after Thanksgiving and it wasn't wall to wall people but enough to see business is going well. There is an Apple Store here as well as more than just shoe and hat stores. Central locale to get a lot of different shopping done all at once within Haywood Mall.

The Mall didn't fully open until 11am. But really there isn't much to wait for. Not many things still left here! There is about 10-15 stores, a bath and body works, Hot Topics, Shoe Dept Encore, Belks, several stores can't remember their names, & Kay Jewelers.
