Went the weekend before a big extravaganza because I've always wanted to stop here. The outdoor…read moreportion opens at 5am, the indoor portion of the market opens at 7:30am. It wasn't so crowded... and It's definitely very large, and deals can be had but a lot of the dealers were priced high and a few weren't that friendly. There was also a lot of the same stuff from table to table. I heard from one dealer that dealers are buying from One another this weekend, stocking up to go to Kutztown. There were a few unmanned tables in fact. Overall It felt a little less like a flea market and more like a tourist attraction. I did enjoy going but when I left I wasn't really itching to return- I didn't feel like I'd really found any treasure or gotten a great deal. Would possibly return, but I think I may check out the smaller flea a few blocks down first...

I have been going to Shupp's for decades. I loved strolling under the trees and visiting with the…read morevendors. I found many treasures over the years. I was disappointed a few years ago when their Covid precautions were not being taken seriously, so hadn't been for a long time. I was encouraged by recent positive reviews to give them another chance. It was so disappointing. The majority of the grounds are empty. What used to be rows and rows of venders is just empty tables. The booths run by long term venders that are there every week are overpriced and stale. The market is just a shadow of what it once was and I won't be going back.

Heritage used to have a great mix of items but now it's mostly pressed glass, dishware, Pyrex-type…read morestuff, etc, like Pine Hills. There is a decent selection of way over-priced Christmas items in one booth; interesting and some not-often-seen stuff, but all-the-money and then some. The staff is nice-enough, but they're mostly the dealers that have booths there.

11/18/23 went and visited this store for the first time which just so happened to be next to third…read morest cafe. The shop keeper, Carolee was very friendly and willing to negotiate. I didn't find anything here on this trip but if you're in the area it's certainly worthwhile going to shop. There were plenty of interesting antiques. I especially liked the cookie jar collection. Furniture, jugs, kitchen items, glassware, dolls, magazines, books and much much more.

We had to go and check them out. The owner is incredibly kind and answered all of our questions. The shop is an amazing collection of unusual antiques, taxidermy, hand made pieces, jewelry, cards, stickers, t-shirts, vintage flannels and more. There is lots to look at and something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. In addition to all the oddities, there is also a strong message of acceptance and inclusion. What a wonderful addition to this small town. I plan to be a regular.

It's the perfect place to visit during their regular weekend open hours and spend time perusing the wares, and it's nearly impossible not to leave without something. The shop is a welcoming, inclusive space and the owners Karis and Ivan are some of the kindest, most caring individuals and really go out of their way to maintain a positive atmosphere that celebrates the weird and wonderful. Keep an eye out for resident shop cats Roxanne and Ruby, and monitor the Dungeon Oddities Instagram page for any changes to their regular operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

They have plenty of items here that are "new in box" that although the box is banged up, at least it is not growing of mold or anything that can be harmful to you and the items seem to be in mostly near-perfect condition. There seems to be everything here from new in box, to opened returns, to used items that have somehow ended up here (all clearly indicated). They had pallets of Amazon items, Home Depot items (who wants two tubs and a shower shell that probably dont fit together?), etc. Some items are pricey for what they are, but they still seem to be discounted from paying full price, even if it is only $8-10 cheaper. We managed a gem of a brand new in box carseat for half the price they are normally. We had bought a cheapy car seat to travel with and my son hates it, I was desperate to get something he would be able to sit in for a 2.5 hour drive back to the airport later this week and we were fortunate to get an amazing deal at the Big Catch (yes, I got my big catch!). The carseat I purchased is normally in retail stores for $360 plus tax and we got it for $179. The Britax carseats are an expensive brand and the Advocate is the most expensive line they make (reinforced with stainless steel, etc.), heavy and supposed to be the best for transporting kids. Once they are installed in a car properly, they do not move! I thought there must be something wrong with it, so I came into the store and inspected the box, it was manufactured in July 2021 (they are good for 10 years) and the carseat was still in its original plastic. SOLD! We installed it in the parking lot and my son was a happy camper. I may never have the need to come back to The Big Catch but I do recommend anyone shopping to take a peek at their inventory, they have everything from cribs ($120!) to strollers and carseats, microwaves, gaming headphones, etc. I'm sure their inventory is ever-changing but there will be some hidden jewels here for someone!! Also, hilarious sign on the bathroom (see photo). Haha, highly recommend!

Furniture is modern and cool-the pics posted are dated the store looks completely different. I bought a stackable was and dryer for 950- Lowes had it priced at 1650, so I got a pretty good deal. Definitely stop inn catch yourself a deal!!!
