The review that says otherwise is astonishing..Dr. Fauser has never raised his voice to anyone, not in the almost 35 years I've been there. My dog developed heart worm, and they worked diligently to save her life..which they did. In these years, we've had 6 cats and 1 dog. Each has been carefully and gently cared for, and when news was bad, or the time had come, they mourned with me. I won't go anywhere else...there are no extraneous tests or procedures done here. Everything is for the good of your pet, but with a dose of common sense as well. The staff and Dr. Fauser are an extension of your pets family, and that is how you and your pet are always treated. Best.Vet.Ever.

We've been going to Holt Vet Clinic for about six years now and have been quite happy with them…read more Most of our pets' needs are pretty conventional -- vaccines, heartworm meds, etc., -- but about two years ago, our beloved Maltese became very ill. Dr. Rees was very helpful in trying to help us find a diagnosis. Unfortunately, we didn't find one until Macy began having seizures, at which point she needed specialized care at MSU. (She turned out to have a very rare and difficult-to-diagnose disease called GME.) We ended up working with a neurologist in Boston, and Dr. Rees was always very willing to work with him and with our vet at MSU to make Macy's treatment as convenient for us as possible.

Oh my goodness! I appreciate them all!! But Dr. Julie has been our vet for years and she is my hero and my beloved critters' Doc!!! Even when they are busy and behind on the schedule Dr. Julie is always prepared, sees ME, I never feel rushed, and she is always happy and right on top of my pet's needs.

She already had all the signs that she was going as far as just laying there Her body was shutting down they told my husband that they didn't have time they were busy and about to close bull crap they call themselves a vet they told him to go to MSU are you kidding me? All they care about is money and the stupid thing is we were willing to pay them. They overcharge already as it is I asked myself once again why even bother with these people inconsiderate they don't care about your animals she end up passing with all of us by her side. Rest in peace our sweet Easter girl

Luna came into the vet lethargic, not being able to walk properly and she also had some tooth pain. we told the vet how she was acting and they brought her back and checked her out. we agreed on doing blood work and that took about 4 hours (that's fine) and we got a call when she was almost done to come back so we did. the receptionist kept telling us the doctor knew we were there and a hour and a half later the doctor brought us back and said "sorry, nobody told me you were here" so not sure wtf was going on there. the doctor told us they gave her pain medicine and checked her vitals and that everything looked good and normal and her bloodwork was normal. they gave us gabapentin for her and sent us home and said she will be lethargic but overall she will be fine. so tell me why, monday, april 13th we take her to another vet who looked at Luna for 5 minutes, noticed Lunas back legs were cold and finally said "yup, it most likely is blood clots" and we had to make a decision. spend 10k on treatment just for her to never be the same again or put her down right then and there. all day sunday we could have spent the entire day with Luna and cuddling her. instead she was stuck in a hospital who truly didn't care about her. if you have any concern for your animal please go to the Southside Animal Hospital. they were amazing

He did a great job and at age 10 you would never know he had the surgery. We take for granted we will get great care at the clinic. Then at the end of February Cody had a routine check up and I scheduled him for a teeth cleaning. When he had his teeth cleaned Dr. Joe called and said "Cody has a couple of lesions in his mouth I think we should biopsy." I said "absolutely" and my heart sank. Sure enough Dr. Joe called me with the report and both tumors were malignant. Dr. Joe obtained some information and e-mailed it to me and recommended further testing on the tumors to obtain further information to assist in making a decision on what to do. When the information came back Dr. Joe and I decided I should get the opinion of an oncologist at MSU Vet Hospital. The next three weeks were a whirlwind for Cody and me. The oncologist agreed to see me even though we did not have an appointment. She could not believe the tumors were discovered so early. Cody had surgery at MSU due to the extent of surgery needed and the need to spend a night in the Intensive Care for observation. He is healing very well and has been declared cancer free. Thank you Dr. Joe for catching these tumors before they spread and you gave me the opportunity to prolong Cody's life without sacrificing quality.
