I was visiting my parents in Portland and they just cleaned out the garage and somehow an old D-con pack still wrapped in plastic had ended up in the middle of the yard in front of the barn. My Husky was eating some things off the ground and I caught the second thing she had in her mouth which was the d-CON pack. Not knowing what the first thing was she ate, we had to take some action. Kara talked me through the whole thing and we clarified that she had not eaten a d-con pack by inducing vomiting. I was so grateful to have Kara's help. What a wonderful Veterinary practice! Thankfully it was something small but she lived to be 19 years old. I brought my dog there when he had lumps on his tummy and he's never been there before. (He has anxiety) so he started pacing back and forth and started whining and squeaking. The staff there gave him a cookie and petted him and was very nice. My dog loves it there now! I take him, at most, once/week, or once every other week. I think the day care at NanaNPaws is exactly what I wanted for him, and what he needs. When I picked him up he looked lovely, and I could just tell, he wasn't traumatized as he sometimes can be a bit when he has to go to the groomer. My instructions were followed to the letter and the groomer listened patiently to my concerns about my little Levi and his issues.
