Never again!! I've taken my Audi to European Autohaus several times for minor issues. While I've always complained about their lack of communication with the customer and sending me estimates via phone text link which makes it impossible to read coherently. This time I started to have engine hesitation and misfiring. Took it in August 26, 2025. They QUOTED ME $2,488 for the diagnosis and repair. Although they got failure codes from the computer on misfiring and fuel pressure low (P0087 code) they did not follow leads that would cause those codes, they merely swapped some spark plugs around (which were brand new that they put in previously) and could not reproduce the misfire. AFTER nearly 4 WEEKS of having the car, they replaced my AC compressor as they said it was bad as well. they gave it back to me as "FIXED". Got it back Sept 19th. 4 WEEKS. I headed up the road didn't get 20 miles before the misfiring started again, just like before. Hobbled the car back to Autohaus where they couldn't get to it for 4 days. Finally, ANOTHER ESTIMATE FOR $1788 for the high-pressure fuel pump. Then 3 days later they called me (October 2nd) said it was fixed and ready to go. So been working on the car from Aug 26th to Oct 2nd !! Second time now, Pulled out of the shop headed up the road, within minutes the car started misfiring and hesitating again!! They had the car for 37 days total and THOUSANDS of dollars later, car is still doing exactly the same thing I brought it in for to begin with. I emailed them about it. Got no response because truly I can see they just don't give $hit about the customer and reputation. Definitely care when that credit card goes into their machine though!! Never again!!! Purchased a vehilce on Feb. 22, 2025.. today is May 7, 2025 I still don't have my permanent tag however did pay for it!! Time has run out to do yet another Temp. Tag. As of May 9, 2025 I can no longer drive the vehilce I purchsed from them. I still have NO RESOLTION in this matter. I would NOT purchase from this dealership. Please people BEWARE!!!!! Just purchased a used vehicle and took it to European Autohaus because going to the dealership out of warranty is asking for bankruptcy. I was greeted by Kwon who is a fantastic gentleman, and he guided me through the process of getting a post purchase inspection. After receiving my diagnosis, I decided to do one repair, and they fixed my car right up. And Mike informed me of things to be aware of. Great customer service! My only gripe and it's such a pet peeve of mine when going to Independent Shops, is the lack of grounds-keeping. Immediately after leaving the shop I hear the dreaded sound of a nail in my tire, and immediately became so frustrated that I was ready to forget the incredible service up until then. The lack of professionalism to leave loose nails around is a killer, and you definitely wouldn't run into that problem when at a BMW dealership. When oversight like this happens, it makes you wonder if other careless mistakes are made when working on the vehicle. I'm not saying that is the case, but you can't help but wonder. read more

I'm a little disappointed in how they handled my issue with a faulty component they installed in my car. I did not think it was much to ask for them to refund me for the cost I paid for the parts. In fact, they had me under the impression that they were proving me a refund only to give me a credit. Now in there defense, they did mention that I could have taken my car in for repair at another shop in Georgia, but how was I supposed to know that when it was never mentioned or on any paperwork. You're lucky to receive a call back from David when promised, and they seem to be so busy that they do not need your business. When all things are considered, such as no loaner cars or shuttle service, and questionable warranty or guarantee of services, they are not less expensive than the dealer, but much less desirable to do business with. They also appear to no longer respond to negative reviews, which is quite telling. read more

Honestly, I was waiting for the news crew to show up. I thought I was on the tv show bloopers. I towed my car to European Autohaus on Monday April 3, 2023 & by Wednesday they text me a diagnosis with all kinds of other things that needed to be done. I said if I do just the power steering job what will that cost. I told them my budget was $1200 or I'll buy a new car. They quoted me $1400 so I said go ahead as long as that's my issue for it to work & be drivable. They said yes. A day 1/2 later they called & said sorry another issue & it will be $1700 more. I said wait I still will be charged for the $1400 regardless & they said yes. So at that point they had me in an awful spot. Everyday they said it will be ready the next day. Call to pick up said tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow 14 times. I begged to let me get it towed to Mercedes. They wouldn't let me. I came today April 18th & they charged me over $2900.00!!! I get in my car to leave it smells like it's about to blow up from gasoline & is bouncing. Something I've never had before. I went back in & said I refuse to pay this bill. I need a refund they said nope. Thank goodness my credit card will help me fight it. I always go to the Mercedes dealership & now I see why. The owner doesn't care about nothing. Pure nightmare!!! Please don't bring your car here. Negative stars not even 1 star. I usually let Karma do it's job but to spend $2900 for NOTHING done!!! read more

Be wary of scams.. I took my car here to evaluate an error code after a starter replacement. I told them that I think the new intake manifold clips may be obstructing the accelerator bar and asked for their professional evaluation and opinion. I told them I had already tested the 2 TPS (throttle position sensor) and they were fine. I was told there would be a diagnostic fee of around $120 and we would take it from there. A few hours later they called me and stated they would send me the estimate but there was a lot to do to figure out the problem. I was right around the corner so I went to the shop so they could explain the estimate to me in person. I was told that they would have to take a bunch of components apart and replace the two TPS sensors, and then see if that fixed the problem. They said that step alone was around $1,200. I asked if the clips were obstructing the accelerator bar, they said yes it was and that was a quick and easy adjustment that they did. They proceeded to tell me that it didn't fix the problem and the error codes were still going off and preventing the car from being drivable. They said that I needed to pay the $1,200 and they already ordered the sensors. I thanked them for their time, and stated I was not ready to have the sensors replaced and would be taking the car. After trying to convince me I had to spend the additional $1,200, they charged me the $120 for the diagnostic test and clip adjustment, and I was able to take my car... Low and behold, the car worked perfectly when I picked it up. All it needed was adjusting one of the clips (1 minutes of work). The $1,200 they were trying to get appears to be a total scam. There were no further error codes after they adjusted the clip, as they had claimed. read more

I've used this place twice in the past couple of years and both times I've felt they did quality work and weren't out to con customers into more expensive repairs. Initially I took my Audi Q5 when I had it to them to check a vibration that Reeves Audi Service wasn't able to replicate despite it occurring in their driveway multiple times. I had a technician ride with me and he was able to diagnose it 2 minutes into our ride. Fast forward to the newest addition to my garage, a BMW 328 coupe. I purchased it at Carmax and wanted these guys to give it a glance to see if there was anything wrong with it before I finalized my purchase. They were able to inspect it and sign off on the quality of the car. After I purchased it, the tire shop managed to strip out a lug bolt and the part of the hub it screws into. Reeves BMW said it wasn't repairable and would be about $1k to replace the hub. These guys kept the car overnight and were able to repair the hub and replace the lug bolt for less than $200. Overall, these guys will be my new go to place for any of my maintenance and repair needs. They work fast and their knowledgeable technicians make me feel comfortable leaving my cars in their hands. read more

I'm on the fence. I want to like this business because it seems like it has a good reputation, and I prefer a local business to a dealer- but my experience was so so. I had my RTF wheels on my BMW X1 rotated and balanced here. Price seemed reasonable and it didn't take forever. Drove away happy... A month later a friend noticed a bolt missing on one of my front wheels. I took it in the next day and they replaced it without question. They didn't say anything about why or how. I asked if i should be worried they said no and that was it. My thoughts are that they didn't apologize or explain how this could happen. Also, if they are missing bolts on something simple as a tire rotation, what are they missing inside the engine!? I know mistakes are made but some sort of conversation from the staff would have been helpful, plus I can't help but be wary of their quality control. Not sure I will be back. read more

I've been taking my Audi S4 to European Autohaus since May of 2009. They've helped me take the car from 120,000 miles to now just past 190,000 miles. The service manager, Zonald, is extremely knowledgeable. He has helped me keep the car operating perfectly and keep the cost of ownership down. He also is very straight forward about what maintenance needs to be done and explains why he recommends it. The prices are very reasonable as well. I've taken my car to the Audi dealership before and received quotes, but European Autohaus has always come out to be the best deal. It just makes no sense to pay the higher labor rate at a dealership when the guys at European have the same technical certifications and use the same OEM parts and equipment. John is my usual technician and I don't think there is any issue with my car that he couldn't handle. I strongly recommend European Autohaus for everything from basic maintenance to total overhaul. They have exceeded my expectations in every category. read more

Took my 15-year-old Mini in to repair old gaskets (leaking oil) and replace suspension parts. Their initial estimate was lower than the dealer, which is why I took the car there. After $3k of repairs, I continued to have continuous oil leaks, took it back a few weeks later to diagnose the problem. They said they could not find any leaks, and said I had a burned out tail light which they offered to replace for $25. I declined and checked the light myself. All my lights were functioning and continue to function. Their level of interest in my problem is non-existent, and they lied about the tail light to turn a profit on my complaint visit. While I hate to pay more for repairs to an old car, European Autohaus manages to make getting all my service at the dealer my best choice. read more

I was driving home in my dad's 3 series thinking about writing a great review then I pulled into the driveway and realized they changed his license plate frame to one advertising their company. Their customer service was great, they picked up the car and were quick to complete the simple repairs. The car sounded great and I think they addresses the issues it was having at a good price. I really can't get past the fact that they would choose to advertise their business on a customers car without consent. What a horrible way to build brand loyalty! I took my BMW there to get a minor coolant issue fixed but the people take advantage of you and absurdly charge you money for no reason. And customer care is not so great either... we came in and were not greeted and the secretary, "John" continued to talk to other people without acknowledging the other customers. Even the other customer acknowledged us. It was quite strange and the staff continued to talk about random things and ignored the customer. Finally, when we came back to pick up the car, nothing was ready on time. Its just some crappy little shop on Bearss, definitely DO NOT recommend to take your precious car there. read more

I had my A4 towed here back in 2009 when I had problems with it not starting. After a few days they claimed it was a sensor issue and gave me an estimate for repairs. When I came to pick up the car it started and stalled right away. I left it with them again to diagnose and this time it took a week and little communication before I was finally told it could be fixed but would cost me an extra $800. I balked at that since they had already charged me $1000 for the original repairs. I ended up negotiating down to around $400 on top of my original bill to take my car home. I've never been back. So after going to the "stealer"...oops I mean dealer, I took a look on Yelp. I have driven by this place for the past 8 years and saw it had positive reviews. Having a maintenance background, I have not been overly impressed with some of the automotive repair establishments in Tampa, seems they are unreliable or try to over charge...I cannot say the same for this place. David and his crew were very honest and the prices were great, even for European car repairs. Without sharing any of the information that the dealer provided, I let the team at the European autohaus assess my 2006 XC90. They were spot on and provided honest feedback on what they felt was necessary and the state of my car. This is now my official Volvo repair facility that I will use from this point forward. Very pleased with the professionalism, quality of work, and overall experience. Excellent service. John and his team went above and beyond my expectations. My Audi A8 had an oil leak. They had to remove my damaged bumper to get to the leak. They put my bumper back together like it was brand new. I can't believe they took the time and effort with out my knowledge or request. These guys are great and I highly recommend their service. I am new to town and have high expectations when having work done on my Audi. European Autohaus is a place to trust. I love cars and want the people that work on my car to love cars too. John and his team...Dave, you know who you are....did a fantastic job at fixing a complicated fuel indicator problem for me. They've also done a timing belt replacement for me and I know that they did it right. My first visit to them was an oil change, and then I had to have my car towed in because of a fuel pump failure. They got my car in the garage and out the door in two days with no notice. Whatever price I paid, I wouldn't have second-guessed it. The've also got a couple of talented, young future leaders of tomorrow that will gladly put a beautiful shine on your car before you drive off. Worst decision ever! I bought my car there 1 year ago and have had nothing but problems. Within months a cylinder went bad and then the brakes! Paint started chipping and bubbling up on my front bumper and I was informed that my car had been in a front end collision! I realize I should have probably checked into this on my own but that's what you get when you trust a salesman! Fast forward 1 year and my air conditioner wont work and it will cost $700.00 to fix. I cannot even get rid of this car due to being ripped off on the price and still owe way more than it is worth. Buyer beware I have learned an expensive and valuable lesson! read more

I took my car here for a 100K mile check up with the check engine light on. They diagnosed it with two leaks, one from the water pump and one from one of the hoses in the turbo system and indicated they would clear the check engine light which seemed to be from a part that was previously changed in a different shop but that it may come back, the total? $1,800. After 3 days and a lot of pressure from my side to get the car back, they finally called me to pick it up. When I showed up, they said they had good news and bad news. The good one was that there was no leak in the turbo and they only had to change a hose they broke while getting in the system, a $45 extra charge from the original estimate but $800 less in labor; the bad one was that they cleared the check engine light but it came back on during the test drive. Upset already, I found unacceptable that it took them 3 days to change a water pump and miss-diagnosed the turbo leak so I quickly jumped in the car and got out of there. When I started driving the car not only had the check engine light on but also the EPC light, the car was hesitating and coughing but I drove away as fast as I could to never look back. After paying $1,000 and 3 days I got my car back in worse condition than when I dropped it off, it took them 3 days to change a water pump and mess up the Electronic Power Control in the car.
