I'm updating my review to reflect how the facility ultimately handled the situation. After my concerns were raised, my mother's missing item was returned, and the staff made a genuine effort to ensure she felt comfortable and supported. That meant a great deal to her and to our family. My mother is in rehab and relearning how to walk, and she now feels safe, respected, and cared for. The rooms are clean, the food is genuinely good, and most importantly, the staff have been kind and attentive, which has had a very positive impact on her mood and recovery. I appreciate the steps management and staff took to address the issue and restore trust. Based on how things stand now, my mother is happy with her care, and that is what matters most. read more

When she was discharged from the hospital, we weren't sure if she would regain enough strength to walk again. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the therapy team, she steadily regained her strength and mobility. The nursing staff managed her care exceptionally well, ensuring she got to and from dialysis appointments safely and experienced no complications during her stay. Their knowledge, skill, and compassion exceeded our expectations and gave our family great peace of mind. I just called my good friend & neighbor to check on her she is in Willow Creek after surgery. I was told all patient phone have been pull and will no longer have phones in rooms?? I have no way to check on my friend!! She has no way to call anyone to calm her down when she is upset. I was told to go buy her cell phone. 1. She doesn't know how to use a cell. 2. She cant see a cell phone! 3. Cell phones cost a lot of money she lives on SSI only can't afford a cell phone thats why she doesnt have one!!My dad is same way he drives at 80 but can not figure out a cell phone to save his life. This is awful you just pull family away!! Shame on you Willow Creek its hard enough to be there but now your really leaving patient alone. May have to find another facility but probably stuck there to. read more

Patients go into their ROOMS and just literally sit in their beds.. NOT really ANY. CARE.. For me..I am 79 years old and in my lifetime I have been in several Hospitals..AND..by far..THIS IS THE VERY WORST Health Care experienc that I have EVER HAD!! For me as a patient..I was just put in a patient room and NO CARE for 6 days.AND..I can do that at home..!! I will NEVER come back to this WILLOW CREEK HOSPITAL EVER..the CARE...is non-existant CARE..I was sooo glad to leave and go home.. Really a Terrible experience!! read more

After submitting a complaint to CDPH, I hope they come knocking on this facilities doors. Infection control is nonexistent in here. You walk in and there are trash bags in the patients room. Filled with briefs, used wipes, and other various items of trash. I have also noticed that employees dont take contact precautions seriously and dont gown up in their PPE. They just straight up walk into the contact room and then go on to the next patient. Some nurses abuse their patients, not physically but verbally telling them to shut up and be quiet. I literally witnessed a CNA drag a patient back to their room to silence them! read more

My MIL went here to recover and receive physical therapy after knee replacement surgery. Staff was friendly. Upon walking in we were shocked at the strong scent of urine. Overwhelming. Her room was awful. Walls peeling. Dirty. Tiny tv that was very old. Food was so bad we provided food for her ourselves. It looked horrible. We even brought her poor roommate food. Slow respond time from staff. Physical therapy wasn't provided as much as promised. Don't take your loved ones here. It was gross. read more

Hats off at the team to PT. These guys are professionals and know their job! Getting people back where they were before they got sick. Or in some instances, an accident that took them out of activities of daily living. But, these guys put them back together again! Our whole experience has been wonderful at Willow Creek. But a special kudos go out to PT especially Joshua and Cindy who went the extra mile to do a demonstration of transferring from the wheelchair to our car. Wonderful! Completely wonderful! I learned a few things too! There's ever a time when you're bent, not broken, these guys will help you get back to normal. I totally love them 100%. read more

This place is really well kept up with, patients are so wonderful along with the staff. Rooms are very clean upon arrival. The patients come first in regards of everything. The staff treat the patients so well, most definitely enjoy watching the staff interact with the patients. read more

Our loved one was railroaded into this awful place by a local hospital. They had end stage cancer. In spite of this the admission forms stated that there was nothing that indicated the patient had less than 6 months to live; they died in three weeks. Initial Friday night admit was signed by the receptionist, with loved one stating that they wanted to get stronger and go to a relative's house. The receptionist decided this plan was unrealistic. The facility would not allow any family members to be involved in the care planning, as the State of California requires. Calls to social worker and discharge planning mostly went unreturned, with multiple "mailbox full" experiences. Family was unable to care for loved one without durable medical equipment, and discharge planning was needed to accomplish this. Family member was left waiting for the social worker for over 40 minutes after being delayed by traffic for 10 minutes, only to be told after this long wait that the social worker had gone home. Call to ADON regarding loved one not being given breathing treatments when needed went unreturned. Loved one was admitted into a bed that didn't function properly, and had to press call light to get assistance for the minor task of changing position, which was not answered in a timely manner, resulting in significant discomfort. Constant complaints from loved one of waiting for hygiene care for long periods of time as call light was not answered promptly; constant complaints about cold unappealing food, and complained about wanting to leave due to lack of cleanliness in her room, seeing a bug, and not being able to get a bath more than 2x/week. Loved one went into this facility a full code, then was talked into DNR-Selective Care. Nurse was made aware that loved one wanted the doctor to look at a concerning skin lesion, and family asked multiple times when the doctor was coming. Neither doctor nor any other medical provider from the care group ever came to evaluate according to the medical record (though loved one mentioned PA visit), despite the admission note saying more intense monitoring and evaluation may be needed. PT note indicated loved one was expecting the doctor to evaluate them. The day loved one died family member had to INSIST they call EMS; loved one was in intense discomfort and clearly dehydrated. Asked loved one if they wanted water, and nodded yes, and took it eagerly, though family member had to pour it in their mouth as there was no straw in the water container that was almost empty. "We've been watching her all day", said the nurse, but did not notify family of deteriorating condition. Last reported temp at Willow Creek was 97, but at the hospital, a short distance away, it was over 103. Doctors at the hospital suspected the concerning lesion as the source of SEPSIS, which was end-stage and refractory to treatment by the time loved one got to the hospital. Family reached out to a community organization to get in touch with an ombudsman during this whole nightmare, and THEY never called back (the one that has ads on the radio constantly). Family felt like our loved one was a hostage in this place. Family did get a caregiver resource appointment but loved one died before they were able to see them, after Willow Creek Healthcare Center refused to help us get our loved one out of their facility and into hospice. read more

My 92 year old Dad received the best care here for 1 week and after his broken femur (hip) surgery. I was able to view online all of the Doctors and Nurses posts about his condition, his progress and his medications. Every employee I encountered was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. No one will answer my calls on my Sister's care..after The nurse gave my sister,her roommate medicine. The nurse came running in there after she found out what she did and took them from my sister. Thank goodness my sister didn't take them because she said they didn't look like her meds. I called Dolores on this. This is the person I was given to contact about her care. Dolores has quit talking to me after I made it aware to her what had happened .. that my sister needed to go to the hospital. Soon after that my sister was sent to hospital and had been complaining 3 days about pain and she had a bacterial infection that they let go too far. On her port that was infected. There is a scabies break out there and they were treating my sister with RID shampoo that is not the proper procedure to get rid of scabies.. trying to make her think that she did not have scabies. They've lost her clothes. Constantly. She has no pajamas now. No one will help her find them. They keep telling her that these clothes that are in there.. that they packed up are hers and they're not. She knows what her clothes are. They could not find her poncho wrap that she had with a leather clasp and Dolores said well. We can't find that. They did not replace it. They lost it. They let other people wear her clothes. Their names are in their clothes so it should make it to their rooms. !!No wonder they've got scabies ! The food. Tonight she got carrots and gravy was some type of unidentifiable meat. That came an hour after everybody else's food and was cold ..They will not give her a menu to choose her own food now,! And she was released from the hospital they sent her over to the. Ward where they scream all day and night long.. but she does say that the nurse is on this side are much better than on the other side. There were a couple of nurses over there that she really liked and listened to her like she was a human With feelings.. They sent me a seven-page long paper before she got back to the hospital saying they was not responsible for her loss, clothing or private items.Connie Branch Maehler. read more

My father went here after having sepsis and a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. He had to have a nephrostomy tube put in at the hospital and was weakened by all the infection. We sent him here for physical therapy and to ensure he had the proper care for his nephrostomy tube and to get stronger. We were so wrong about this. His tube was never changed or cleaned even after we inquired about it and his sister (an oncology nurse for 30 years) told them the same thing and nothing was done. The covering/dressing at the site of his tube placement was not cleaned regularly even after showers. I requested they change it once because I could smell something and there was a date written on the pad that was a week old, so the dressing had not been changed in a week. He ended up with two infections while he was here and had to return to the hospital with sepsis. That is how we were eventually able to get him out of here, because the doctors didn't respond to him and didn't work with him for a discharge plan. The physical therapist were not always friendly and didn't listen to his concerns when he got tired during treatment. They kept pushing him until he had no strength left at times. Their nurse team didn't keep track of the medication correctly and argued with him about changes to his medication until he showed them proof from his hospital app, even though they had received a paper prescription change from the doctor. Magically, they found the paper after he showed them proof from the app. They would also take 30 minutes or more to respond at times. This would include times when he needed to use the bathroom and they would get mad if he got up on his own to use the toilet in the room. He ended up having a rash in his privates because he couldn't go to the bathroom in time and would end up wetting the bed. Overall, do not send your family here if you care about them! read more

My Brother was at Willow Creek Healthcare from March 26th till April 19Th 2025 following a near death surgery hospital stay. If I could give negative stars I would. Let me start by saying not everybody in the nursing staff and CNA's at the facility were bad but they diffidently had some that were horrible. Night Staff and Weekend Staff being the worst. Physical therapy people were great. The administrative staff was just so so. No one answered the phone, always voicemail and not always a call back when a problem arose which was quite often. Luckily My daughter worked 5 minutes away and her boss accommodated her going there to handle issues in a timely manner while the head of nurses and the assistant nurse were there during weekdays. Issues seem to get handled when we showed up quickly. But at night or weekends the staff went right back to doing things their way which we felt was a lot of neglect of the patient. I will name a few things that my brother experienced and a lot of those we witnessed also. When he arrived the Tv was in-op (a small thing) but for 3 days he was told they had requested to be fixed, now going into a weekend I had to go directly to administration and then it was replaced. The battery-operated clock on the wall was in-op and gentleman in other bed said he had no idea what time it was and had been asking to fix it. I fixed it by replacing a double A battery for him. He had pushed a button on his Tv remote and now was watching snow. Everybody ignored that and I fixed it for him after what he said was 11/2 days of asking. Meds were never distributed on time. We were told it was ok as long as it was within 1 hour before or 1 hour leeway from what the DR's prescribed time ordered. He was supposed to have a pain patch from 7 in evening to 7 in the morning, at times it would be 10:00pm or after before he'd get it and they never removed it, we would remove it mid-day when we came by or he thought of it. Staff would ignore his call light and his request to address meds or his Ostomy Bag. The Ostomy leaked all the time 5-7 times a day and staff (at least his care people) had no idea how to fix the problem often leaving him sitting in fecal matter all over him and the sheets for hours. A lot of time during dinner or lunch. He often would skip the meal because of the odor and wasn't right for other gentleman in that room to smell it while he ate. The Cna"s and nurse would say we are passing out meal trays and meds, that he needed to wait till that was done and leave him like that for several hours. My Daughter and I witnessed that on more than one occasion, one time was 2 plus hours before it was delt with. I finally cleaned him up and changed sheets upsetting the nurse. It wasn't till the follow up with surgery surgeon a week before his discharge that the surgeon ordered us to go to Saint Agnes wound and ostomy care for training. After that 2-hour training my brother would not let Willow Creek staff touch his Ostomy and is doing it himself without issues. We showed pictures and discussed issues several times with administration, but nothing really changed. We tried early on to have him moved to another facility after all the issues were occurring and a staff member said you can take him anytime; he is not a prisoner. We were told the 2 facilities we requested denied him. When i called those facilities myself, I was told Willow Creek said he was a problem to deal with. Yes, he would be, I guess you would be too if all this was happening to you. It would have been fine had people did the job they chose to do. The 2 people in charge of discharge and arrangements for home were the worst. nothing got setup for when he got home like it was supposed to, so I took over making Robert mad. A loved one puts their family member in a facility to relieve pressure and have them taken care of by trained professionals. NOT at this place. We did not report this to the state while he was at the facility but have now for an investigation, I'm sure this will turn out to be he said / they said situation. My fault we didn't report to the state while he was there because we felt like retaliation would be worse than what we were experiencing already. I know if this happened to my brother it is happening to others. Be AWARE! watch close, visit often and ask a lot of questions. I also know Willow Creek will leave a rebuttal statement saying it didn't happen like I've read on other reviews, but I have documented times and pictures so not interested in what they have to say. Only hope they do something about how people are treated and that the State does something to make sure others are ok. read more

My mother was at Willow Creek Healthcare center from April 28 through August 30. She was not able to do very much for herself at all. I always found her well taken care of. I saw her every other day, and got to know her CNA's, and they were all VERY nice and caring. Their physical therapy truly helped my mother's physical mobility and you could tell her improvement was going along very well. Jiselle was always helpful and truly gave exceptional care, as well as being very friendly and genuine. On the social services side, Joann helped me navigate the workings of what I needed to do in order to be ready for the next steps. She always responded to me when I had questions and made sure I understood what's happening (she must have known that I was confused about the whole process!) This has been a very hard time, and I don't think I could have done it without her. Thank you Willow Creek! read more

Difficult to get a response, nurses do not answer the phone or respond timely to request for assistance. Each time I've tried to call and get help, they pick up the phone just to put back down so I listen to the phone ring for 15-20 minutes before giving up. read more

While not everyone here is a bad apple there are still horrible nurses and CNAs that work here they are negligent and unprofessional. I have witnessed numerous sad situations here patients naked dragging their selves on the floor while staff laughs at them, they leave residents sitting in urine and fecal matter all day they only change residents and do hygiene checks when family state or next shift change comes , most residents have bruises due to forcefulness movement from staff, when residents make complaints to the cna and nurses it never gets reported to higher ups they keep everything very close nit , they cover up abuse , falls , etc . PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE this place needs to be shut down but of course it never will be , because once state comes they tiddy everything up including the residents. My dear family member has been here for years. In the beginning they were helpful with providing rehab, but since Covid there has been no rehab available. The staff turnover has been awful. They have injured our love one on more than one occasion. They are always very apologetic, but seriously this should not happen so routinely. This place needs to be investigated. My wife Nancy, was transferred to Willow Creek from San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital. My wife has had many medical issues in the past decade. She has been placed in a lot of the other facilities, but those prior, just fell short of the mark. I'm not saying Willow Creek is perfect, but they are the best we have found in Fresno County. We had high expectations for Willow Creek, and let them know it. They worked to ease our mind and reassure us. There is not a religious affiliation but you can feel the love of God, and for the most part I truly feel they care for the patients. The fact is we are an aging nation and workers in sub acute nursing facilities are far too unappreciated! The only suggestions I could offer would be expanded parking for visitors. read more

This place is ran strictly for profit. Operating managers and directors should be ashamed of them selves. They make it impossible for their staff to meet the needs of their patients. Medical staff is grossly outnumbered and admins except patients, knowing that they will not meet the minimum requirements necessary for their rehabilitation. Prisoners needs are met better then the patients In this facility. Kitchen staff continuously did not follow dietary plan, and meds are not administered in a timely manner. Asking for water would take a few hours at best. Do NOT allow your family or loved one to be transferred to this facility. I did attempt to reach out directly the facility director on numerous occasions, I left numerous voicemails but she has yet to return my calls nor was she ever available for an in person conversation. I am really mixed about this place . . . it is obvious that they have caring and dedicated people working here. The lack of staff and administrative help is severe during COVID. Our family member has been here for three weeks, it takes 35 minutes or more to get someone to help when he needs help. He had therapy the first week, but other than feeding him and occasionally checking on him, I'm not sure what is happening. He doesn't have a working remote for his tv after a few weeks of being there, although he had one the first week. I have asked for one to no avail and he is bedridden cannot even use the restroom. We have not been able to speak with a doctor no matter how many times we have gone in or called. We were unable to see our loved one for 2 weeks because of a COVID scare. We are unsure and worried about our loved one. We were informed 2 days before they wanted to kick our family member out that the insurance wouldn't pay for more therapy which is completely astounding to us, because we don't have a full diagnosis or any information to fight the insurance about it. Basically we have to go to private pay if we want to keep him there and pray someone will let us know what's going on. They tell you to make an appointment to see your loved one, but they don't answer the phones nor do they return ANY calls unless you are the point of contact. Doctors return no calls, we have no diagnosis and it's going on 4 weeks. If you don't go in and complain it will not change. read more

First thing you need to do is turn around and head towards another direction. If you love your elderly mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa, read the first sentence again. My mom was sent to Willow Creek and in less than a week she fell twice. Within a month, a total of five falls unwitnessed. Besides the falls, there were many other things that were of concern, which the facility is oblivious to any. Birthday gift, gold earrings, gone missing. Probably on one of the worker's ears. Phone charger gone missing. Probably charging one of the worker's phone right now as we speak. Sign on the closet door says, "patient's family will launder patient's clothes." Four new pairs of PJ is worn once by my mom. Our every next visit, she has someone else's clothes on, someone else's shoes on. None of her newly bought PJ's are in the closet to take home to wash. We ask the RN about it and they basically hate their jobs, the patients they have to deal with, and of course especially the families. But yea, they point us to the lost and found if we want to see where her PJ's are at. Shouldn't her PJ's be in the basket behind the closet door with the sign that reads, "patient's family will launder patient's clothes." Their level of service is right up there with the DMV crew. No one has any clue on their patients except handing out meds. Morning nurse has no clue what grave nurse did. Evening nurse has no clue what morning nurse did, etc.. Willow Creek is a money hub cloaked as a rehab. They're a facility that does the very bare minimum just to keep the state's prying eye off their back. I guarantee you the staff that works there will never put their elderly family member there. read more

My mother was recently at Willow Creek for cellulitis in her legs. She was there for physical therapy and was unable to use the restroom without assistance. I understand that, at times, the nursing staff is understaffed and they can't always respond quickly when the patient uses the call button for restroom assistance; however, she had several "accidents" while there. Also, the remote for the TV didn't work, and I asked several times to please fix it. After I spoke with social services about it, they called the maintenance person, and he reprogrammed it right away so that my mother was then able to change channels. I'm not sure why the nurses were unable to help with that in a more timely manner. She didn't have a working remote for over a week. Also, they lost some of my mother's clothes. Being that she is 100, she didn't realize she had to label her clothes for the laundry. It would be nice if someone could assist the elderly with that when they first arrive. The social services employees were excellent as far as responding to all of my questions and getting the TV remote fixed immediately. They were also very helpful and patient regarding my mother's discharge and contacting the people involved that would be assisting her once she was released. Thank you so much for that! read more

Worst care ever! DO NOT put your loved ones in this facility. My papa went in 80% independent and was discharged less than three months later a vegetable only to die in a local hospital! He was riddled with infections and the staff didn't care. If you love your family member you will not subject them to the care of this facility! to call yourselves a medical health care is a joke. my mom would constantly call for her cough but your staff couldn't be pulled from your phones enough to help.my mom was having trouble breathing you could not be reached. we called with no answer and we finally called 911. when the ambulance got there, they we get a call asking who called. only then did they reach out. if my mom hadn't call us who knows how long it would have been before you guys got off your lazy asses. now i see why all the bad reviews. we need to all get together a file a petition for this joke of a medical health care. read more

Just recently my father had a fall and broke his hip . At his age thought to myself oh no I am going to lose him. Well he made it through the surgery and was on the mend. Not living in the area and not knowing many people there I trusted a nurse from the hospital who told me her father was at Willow Creek. She told me what had happened to her father and it was so close to my father's story. To be honest after reading all the negative things I found online about Willow Creek I was very hesitant. She did mention that there had been a change in management when I told her about what I had read. What really got my attention and made me know that Willow Creek would be best for my Dad was the stories about therapy department especially Occupational Therapy. Now having my Father home is really a miracle because of all the people who had a hand in my Father's recovery. What has been the most amazing thing to me is that my Dad has found ways to help himself well to be truthful wasn't him it was Occupational Therapy. She raved about the kindness of the staff, and the gentleness of the physical therapy she received. She even liked the food! When the hospital told me they were sending her to Willow Creek I did a quick search of reviews and was a little worried because reviews were mixed. I felt it important to add a review that was positive, because her experience was so good. She has had experience with 2 other skilled nursing facilities in the Fresno area, and none of them generated such positive comments from Mom. read more

Willow Creek is fantastic at easing transitions whether it is from the hospital to facility or facility to home. The admitting team is great. the therapy program and activities director are awesome. Update: My grandmother was there for rehab after hip surgery. I noticed her leg was in an awkward position when I arrived to the facility on Saturday (mind you less than 24 hours of being at your facility). I asked the CNA why she didn't have any covers on and why her leg was positioned the way it was. She didn't know. Once transmitted back to the hospital, they did an xray of her hip and realized it was dislocated. (Nobody knows how it happened) the surgeon put her hip back into place. After another surgery, my grandmother is now fully alert and talking again. Your staff or management has not contacted my family once to see how she is doing. I kept a lot of important details and photos out of my review for the privacy of my grandmother. If you are so worried about this review, you would call her family to see what happened. I'm pretty positive your staff knows who this patient is and knows exactly what happened. What you should also be concerned about is your CNA who was feeding my grandmother while she was laying down unresponsive, choking on every bite, didn't even know she just had hip surgery. So, if you would like to talk me, look up my grandmother's information and call me. I hate that I even have to give this place one star. I don't even want to call this place a "healthcare" facility. Do not send your loved ones here. If you are considering this facility, please rethink your choice. Go visit the facility and see the lack of care and attention for yourself. What I walked into was the absolute worst thing I've seen. This so-called healthcare facility should absolutely lose their license. I just read all the terrible reviews. Apparently nothing has changed under the new ownership and the rooms look nothing like the pictures they advertise. My grandma wasn't even there 24 hours. She was sitting up talking the day she was transferred there and the next day she was laying there unresponsive like she was dying. Her pupils were pinpoint and unresponsive. We called an ambulance and had her transported out of there ASAP! I am livid. Staff and "new" ownership, please think about YOUR loved ones when caring for patients admitted to your facility. My loved one was supposed to be in Willow Creek for 20-60 days for rehab on a broken hip. She normally lives in assisted living being 90 yo with Altzheimers. Willow Creek is very attractive but the management is atrocious. I would never use this facility again for my loved one. No matter who you call, or when you call, you should not expect a call back EVER. I pressed every extension on their phone line, leaving messages on the ones that didn't say "Voicemail Full." Never got a response in the 10 days my loved one was there. It wasn't until the assisted living manager called the social services dept. at Willow Creek that I got a 3-way call to voice my concerns for my loved one. My loved one had fallen and nobody had taken new xrays. Physical therapy was supposed to be an hour, two times a day, 5 days a week. That was not the case. My loved one was only bathed twice a week, even though she was bedridden and laying in urine and poop. The smell was overwhelming. She moved rooms 3 times in 10 days. After so much frustration and lack of care for her, I decided to move her back to her assisted living. She receives better rehab and the care is far superior to what she was getting at Willow Creek. I have to give credit to the nursing/help staff because they tried to answer questions and be attentive. I feel they were doing their best but were very disorganized which again points to poor management. read more

My husband has been in the facility for almost 2 months and is totally alert. Staff does the best they can, but the last 2 weeks, facility has been extremely short staffed. Food is tasty but usually cold (during his entire stay). Last 2 weeks, meal service has been late up to an hour. Rehab at this facility is excellent. I guess new Administrator is cutting costs, but patient care is suffering. God help the people who are not alert or have no family to advocate for them. read more

Well, my dad has been here a couple weeks and leaving soon- would have given these people a decent review until an incident today. First of all, my dad is TOTALLY with it mentally. He's there because of a knee replacement infection. Today he left for physical therapy for 40 minutes, put his wallet in a safe place, came back and was missing $60. Seems it would be EASY to figure out who the theif is, but the facility has done NOTHING. This place employs CRIMINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Our family recently went through a very traumatic time with the loss of our grandpa and subsequent need for skilled nursing/rehab for our grandmother. We made the difficult choice to place our grandmother in skilled nursing after a bad infection and surgery that didn't go well. It was an especially difficult decision to place her with everything going on with COVID-19. I want to say unequivocally, that the care and compassion received from every individual at Willow Creek Healthcare from the CNAs, rehab personnel, admissions staff and directors, was far and above any expectation we had. They knew about the prior difficulties our family had recently had and they treated our grandmother with the utmost compassion and respect. It was so meaningful to us because we were unable to physically see her. It wasn't just the compassion that was wonderful, the actual care she received was amazing. She went into the facility unable to bear weight after a bad infection and surgery. Upon discharge, she was walking over 100 feet and her progress has continued to improve after discharge. We received updates everyday from her nurses and from the rehab director. They called us with updates on her vitals, progress with walking, etc. Not one time, did we have to check in for an update and that was so appreciated. This staff really went above and beyond and I could not be more thankful for everything they did. No skilled nursing facility is perfect, but this experience was as close as you could get. I would highly recommend Willow Creek Healthcare if you are making the difficult decision to place a loved one, either temporarily or long-term. They will be well taken care of.
