Willow Greenhouse is amazing!!! The staff are knowledgable and friendly. The selection of flowers is incredible. It is worth the drive!!!

Located closer to Ann Arbor than Metro Detroit, but all the roads to get there are paved. The parking lot is not. If I still owned a house and could plant lots of flower beds or pots, I would enjoyed coming here for the prices and selection. They had wagons but when it is a busy time, you might have to wait for one. But I now live in an apartment that limits me to 2 pots or planters on the patio and 3 smaller pots by front door. I did find some plants but they didn't have a selection of pots to plant in. So if you have a house, this is a good choice, but if you live in an apartment and only need a few plants or pots, stay with full service greenhouses. I am still glad I came out. read more

Start by saying I've never left a review. I frequent Willow a few times a year. Met some nice associates. This weekend I purchased over $100 worth of plants. One being a Rose bush. It had black spots over the leaves. I asked the worker if I should be concerned. He said its stress from being in the container(Yes. I should have known better). After getting home and growing concerned, I looked it up. Its a fungus. And most the plant has it. I'm writing this because of his blatant lie. He knew better. And instead chose to lie to me. Im a novice thats learning. It pisses me off. I spent my hard earned money on a plant that may or may not make it. And I have to figure out how to now care for this fungas and hope it's something that wont spread to others. I am not sure if ill shop there again to be honest. I hope the worker see's this. I needed a few more plants for our garden and I was a bit behind in getting the final flats I needed so I knew my options would be limited. I'm also very strict about our social distancing which inhibited me from just going somewhere to get something. I had heard Willow offered curbside pick up so I decided to see what they still had left. The good news? It was a lot! Earlier in the season they had online ordering but I missed that window. However, it was really easy to just give them a ring and place an order over the phone. The super friendly employee (I'm forgetting his name but he was great!) walked me through the process and helped me replace anything they didn't have in stock with a comparable alternative. I ordered a few flats of wave petunias, begonias, sunpatients, and a few hanging baskets. He asked if I had any preference in the baskets and I said "just a mix of colors" and he picked out the most lovely, lush, baskets of superbells for us. I also ordered a basket of dark eyes fuchsia and it's so healthy. It hasn't bloomed yet but it's getting close and I'm so excited. It's my favorite flower! The flats were also beautiful and so healthy. I was impressed. I paid for the order over the phone and he told us which pallet number our order could be found on. We pulled up and found our order, checked to make sure everything was right (it was!) and loaded it into our car. Easy as can be. It was slightly busy there but not crowded. It was easy to do effective social distancing if you wanted to just shop there. They request masks but I did see a few people without them. But all employees were masked up. I know it's not comfortable to have them on when you're outside and it's hot out but I appreciate that they're still doing it. FYI--they have a "dirty gloves club" which is a free membership that will give you 10% off every order. It's easy to join, just give them your cell phone number and they'll text you deals and promo once a month only. Not a lot of intrusion for a nice discount! Check it out. read more

We've driven by Willow so many times I can't count. Having our usual place that we get our vegetable places from, we hadn't had a chance to stop in. However; this year with everyone going on, our usual place wasn't offering any special safety procedures or curbside. So we were looking for some other options.We were excited that someone so close to our house was offering curbside pick up so we placed an order. Willow offered online ordering. It was simple to use, although pictures would be an added bonus. You can pay online, over the phone or in person. Our order was filled the same day. Super easy to pick up, friendly staff who wore masks and placed our plants in the car. Plants look good and healthy. Looking forward to getting them in the ground. All plants at Willow are pesticide, free, strong, and healthy. Usually last until frost. They have some very unique plants. Begonias came in gorgeous two-tone colors really good those of us, my cat fertilizer they bloomed, abundantly all season love Willow Greenhouse and their friendly, helpful staff. read more

This is an excellent local greenhouse. I looked at all the local places and called them on a whim. The staff contacted a couple distributors to find hydrangeas nobody else could get me. They have a great selection of perennials to choose from. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I was not looking forward to buying plants during COVID but their plant selection is outside so no need to go into a greenhouse. Everyone was wearing masks too. At checkout someone came out with a hand held device to scan my items and I could easily pay by credit card. Again, no need to go inside. I will definitely keep buying from them every spring going forward! Highly recommend this business. read more

I was at Willow this week and I, again, have to commend them for having a wonderful greenhouse. I'm not sure what happened to my Yelp posting from the spring. I posted one. I loved the variety of annuals they had in the spring, and I love the assortment of butterfly and hummingbird plants they now have. It was a great idea to expand, and they did a great job. They have some nice hydrangeas. Some I have not seen. I get to lots of greenhouses, as I am a plant person, and Willow is definitely one of the best. Also, the people there are soooo friendly.
