Now, the bad. Whoever does the lights and the pre-show music needs some serious training. The music before and during the shows sounded like a combination of Peruvian flutes, windchimes, discordant jazz, and whales mating. It was wretched. We were there to see two bluegrass bands, and this was not an appropriate warm-up. But it was the show lights that nearly did me in. I don't have epilepsy, but if I did, I certainly would've had a seizure by the constantly roving, circling, glaring lights that shined directly in my eyes during nearly every song. This was not The Who at Wembley Stadium. This is a very small, intimate venue that doesn't need such distractions. Unless it's a band or musician I absolutely must see, I doubt I'll be back.

I emailed Alison back and asked her if there were any other dates available for December 2021 or January 2022, but Alison did not bother to respond after her abrupt message of "Hi, Thanks for considering us!  We unfortunately do not have any availability for this date. Best Regards, Alison" I guess they pick and choose who to hold a wedding ceremony for. I am truly disappointed in the lack of professionalism one of your employees displayed. She seemed to basically brush me off and then IGNORE my email back to her. It's okay though because we found a MUCH BETTER wedding venue! So thank you Alison for ignoring my email and making sure I would never do business with you or this company that clearly doesn't care about the people in which they were hired to help. If they don't care to send back a simple email response, they sure don't care about your special day!

I was a little let down. First, admission is pretty hefty. This is an area for kids so I was surprised adult tickets were so expensive. Secondly, not a single hand sanitizer station had any hand sanitizer. We arrived right a 10am when they opened so I was very surprised they were all empty. Thirdly, many of the "buttons" for kids to push didn't work or maybe they weren't suppose to do anything. But I would think if there is a button to push, it should at least make a sound or turn on a light. Lastly, (nothing that the museum can control) but it's hard to fully enjoy the exhibits when parents don't "reset" the area after their child is done playing in it. Parents please be considerate and reset the area when your child is done playing. Better yet teach them to do it themselves along with "taking turns".

I have decided to buy my 2-year-old grandson in annual pass so his family can take him here as many times as he wants. There is an area in the section for every age group. There was not once where I felt like my two-year-old grandson was going to get ran over by a big kid because everybody had their own areas to excel in. It ended up being one of my favorite museums I've ever visited. The museum is built around the incredible collection of the Coker family, who made their name through Coker Tire, and you can feel the passion behind every display. I had the chance to meet Casey, who now helps lead the family business, and she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. It was so refreshing to see a family-run museum where everyone genuinely loves what they do. The collection is unbelievable. You'll find everything from antique automobiles and classic sports cars to vintage trucks, motorcycles, race cars, buses, and even airplanes hanging from the ceiling. They also have a working restoration shop where you can watch vintage vehicles being brought back to life, plus displays of the original tires and automotive memorabilia that tell the story behind the collection. One of the coolest pieces was the historic Yellowstone tour bus used in filming, which was such a fun surprise. (Content Rhino) At $25 per person, this museum is worth every penny. We spent far longer here than we expected because there was always something new to discover around every corner. Even if cars aren't normally your thing, the history, craftsmanship, and stories behind these vehicles make this an experience you won't forget. Hands down, this is one of the best museums I've visited, and it's now at the top of my list of recommendations for anyone visiting Chattanooga.

I've gone twice in the last month and had vastly different experiences. The first class went well over the two hour window and we weren't even halfway finished with our pictures. I ended up leaving at 10 o'clock, so a full hour after the class was supposed to be over, with a canvas that was 3/4 of the way painted. The instructor was great, but the focus on getting the art done wasn't there. My last class wrapped up a few minutes after the two hour window, but there were a lot of details in the painting. I realized that most of the time the artist is painting the picture for the first time as well, so you're both figuring out details together. That's frustrating. Overall, it's a fun experience, but if you are not an artist at all, don't expect to walk away with a beautiful painting. There isn't time for the instructor to come and help you flush out any issues you have.
