Heard about this studio for years, as many of my friends go here. I finally decided to check it out for myself, and attended a "Restorative Yoga Nidra" class today. Because the studio is in the back of a home, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was beautiful, with a stream running along the property and a large, private yard lined with trees. Inside, the studio was clean and welcoming. They have yoga mats and all the props you could need, which they don't charge you for. The instructor was really friendly and welcoming, and the class was just what I needed. Super relaxing, with blankets, eye pillows, bolsters and we were given essential oils to rub on our feet for deeper relaxation. I felt totally renewed after class. I'm definitely coming back and would recommend this great little find to anyone wanting a true yoga experience you won't find in a gym. read more

Willow Tree Yoga is truly a special place. The owner, Bea, fosters a community of yogis, whether you are a newcomer to yoga or someone who is more experienced. The ambience is peaceful and supporting. I have been to both her Saturday morning classes and her restorative yoga class. She has all the props needed and walks around making helpful suggestions to improve postures. The other people who come to the classes are supportive and friendly as well so you really feel that warm, community feeling in her classes. The chai tea which she offers everyone after her Saturday classes makes this class even more special. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in yoga. read more

Willow Tree Yoga is THE community yoga destination in Rockland County. Owner/instructor Bea is a world-class instructor and a delightfully refreshing and nurturing soul-- very down-to-earth with a great sense of humor. Everyone feels welcome and at ease. The space is gorgeous and well-equipped with every prop you could ever want or imagine and she treats her Saturday students to her delicious, homemade chai tea. My favorite Yoga studio! Warm and inviting. Great for all levels. The instructors are all friendly and helpful. No judgements, everyone is encouraged to make the practice work for them. On beautiful mornings in the summer the class may start outside in a beautiful setting. Nice variety of classes, something for everyone. I even got my husband to try the Tuesday night stretch class...which is a miracle! Plenty of 'props' to make you comfortable in any position, particularly in the restorative yoga class. And, the homemade Chai after the Saturday morning class always makes getting out of bed and going worth it! read more

Such a beautiful space for practicing yoga!!! Emma is the sweetest teacher, incredibly warm and welcoming. You feel supported in every way! I have not had a chance to take class with Bea but when she is around before/in Emma's class she is lovely. Grateful to have found this space after a move from Manhattan and uncertainty if I would find another little oasis for my practice. I joined about 1 1/2 years ago. I've tried several different classes, the all levels Yoga, stretch class, and the fitness bootcamp and the one thing they all have in common is all the instructors take their time to show you the right ways to move to avoid any injuries. These instructors care about their students. My favorite is the fitness bootcamp with Lisa on Mondays and Wednesdays. My core has never been stronger..lol.
