What an amazing experience. Best pedicure I have ever had. The staff here is professional and very knowledgeable about the importance of relaxation. Amazing massages, facials, dry sauna, wet sauna, and hot tub. Buy one service stay all day. Treat yourself to be "queen for a day" you're worth it. If they had six stars I would give it.

Let's start with this place is awesome sadly the pools are currently getting resurfaced so not a good time to come if you want some pool action . Service is great they treat you like a rock star the quality of the room is epic the gym is clean. 24 hour stop and go food station is super good gives you Las Vegas vibes in California Overall my stay was top notch ..... I can go to any casino or resort I definitely prefer viejas as my top spot here's some picture's if you don't believe me . They also a business center which is great to handle the Biz . Make sure you make a reservation this place fills up .

When our room at Viejas wasn't available to us, we were upgraded to a suite at the Willows Hotel and Spa. Upgrade indeed! We dropped the truck with the valet and were off to our room. We walked into a nicely appointed front room. To the right was a very nice marble topped counter and workspace with a nice office chair. It housed the mini fridge and the coffee maker and had a cupboard and dresser drawers built in. In the living area was a couch with a lounger type ottoman. There was a chair and ottoman by the window with a little end table next to the chair and a small coffee table in front. There also was a flat screen TV. The bedroom had two queen beds, two nightstands, a dresser and another flat screen TV. The bathroom featured double sinks, two closets and an epic shower with a traditional shower head and a rainfall showerhead in the center of the ceiling. I'd swear that the shower alone had more square footage than our entire bathroom at home! It even had a little nook with a built-in bench. We were sharing the room with another couple so I called the front desk for some additional bottles of water and more coffee K-cups. In less than 10 minutes there was a knock at the door. A staff member brought in a half dozen bottles of water and an entire unopened bag of about 15 K-cups. Wow! Plenty! The hotel was under some sort of construction or painting. Our view was completely obscured by scaffolding and plastic sheeting, so I cannot describe the view. My employer held our Christmas party at Viejas so we opted to stay the night. The room was $332 for the night (for a regular room, prior to our upgrade). In my estimation that's pretty steep for almost any room, anywhere. That's why we booked a double and split it. Also, they charged a $10 resort fee. Not sure what qualified as a resort amenity. The pool and hot tub were closed for the season. Every service that the spa has to offer carries its own price tag. Perhaps the gym that we did not use cost us the 10 bucks? A nice stay in a nice room and we really appreciated the upgrade, but north of $300 is too pricey for us for a night. Especially at a casino where we're bound to lose even more money. For comparison, one week later we stayed at the Marriott downtown in a room on the 16th floor with views of the bay, the Coronado bridge and into Petco Park, for under $200.

Very nice resort! Check in was fast! The young lady at the front desk was very nice. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I will definitely be back soon! Only complaint is that the Pool closes too early and it would be nice if there was more seating in the casino lounge area where the band plays. There is very little entertainment at night besides gambling

My first time staying here and it's amazing we have a king suite and the living room is perfect with a couch, desk, fridge and coffee maker, the bed is so comfortable with all the pillows, the bathroom has a shower to put 6 people in there, the front desk was amazing soo great I will for sure come again

Despite a pretty bad first impression, I enjoyed my staycation time at the Willows Hotel. I won't go all into detail about what happened upon my check in, but I will say Tori was very professional and made up for their mishaps by placing some retention credits on my Viejas card. I had to be moved from my first room because their was no TV in the bedroom, but my suite was beyond nice. A huge shower and tub and can't forget about the Eastern King size bed, which I thought was quite comfortable. It would be nice if they had a microwave in the room for leftovers, but I survived. I actually had the buffet a few nights so no leftovers to worry about. I think next time I will stay there during maybe warmer months to take advantage of the pool area. Overall I had a very relaxing time.

I stayed at willows hotel and spa at viejas back in December and had the best staycation with my fiancé. We loved how modern and luxurious the rooms were and the size was also nice. I love that the hotel provides a washcloth for makeup removal also. We will definitely be back!

A 4-Star Hotel (the only one in/near San Diego), and it's worth staying at. The customer service in checking in was professional, and friendly. The pool is open, and adults only. The pool has servers and a very large bar. The room, a suite, photo's attached, was simply wonderful. The Alexa music tower in the room was the best, no other resort in San Diego has an Alexa. The dining in room services was great, you can order from a special channel from the TV, and I ordered a very large and tasty breakfast both days. The bed was amazing, and the two head shower was a delight. I will spend another special 2-3 days there again, it's perfect.

I highly recommend Rachel for a massage, especially if you have prior injuries or tenderness. She had "magic hands", reading my body well.

I also liked that the lodge was attached to a small shopping center, which made it convenient to grab food late at night with several options nearby. The customer service was okay. The staff weren't the friendliest, but overall, I didn't have any major issues. I had requested a crib when making my booking, but apparently, the request was never received. If you need one, I'd recommend calling ahead to confirm. We were still able to get a crib, but we had to wait for it to be delivered later that night. As for breakfast, it's definitely one of the more basic continental breakfasts I've had. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, and various breads, along with the usual basics. It was okay at best, but it's always nice to have breakfast included, so I can't complain too much. Another plus was the free parking. Overall, the stay was decent and the pricing was reasonable. We chose this lodge because it was a more affordable option for staying somewhat close to San Diego. I would recommend it if you're looking for a clean and affordable place to stay. It's a great option if you mainly need a comfortable place to sleep while exploring the area.

Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was disappointing because of the customer service we received. We arrived around 6:00 PM on August 7, 2026. The two girls at the front desk were not welcoming at all--no smile, no friendly greeting, and overall a very cold attitude. We are very friendly people and also work in the hospitality industry, so we understand that hotel jobs can be busy and stressful. However, basic courtesy and hospitality should still be there. One of the employees was repeatedly going outside to a car that was parked outside while we were trying to get assistance, which made the whole experience feel even more unprofessional. The biggest issue was when we asked about the complimentary shuttle service. The employee told us she would call and let us know. We went up to our room to get ready for the evening and waited. No one ever contacted us. We eventually called the front desk ourselves, only to find out that they apparently don't make those calls at all. We felt completely ignored. It's unfortunate because we actually liked the hotel and our room. The property itself has a lot going for it, but the interaction with these two employees really affected our first impression and overall experience. Hopefully management can address the customer-service issue because a welcoming front desk makes a huge difference, especially after guests have traveled a long way to get there.

We opted to rent one of the private homes because of our group being larger. It was about a 2 block walk away from the resort which wasn't bad at all. The town is very small and you can literally count how many businesses are here. It's pretty cool. It was a very nice visit and I highly recommend coming to this resort and hotel. The 2 mineral hot springs pools are nice. I recommend that you upgrade with a stay so that you have access to the secluded pool, which is really private and a level up. People get day passes, but that only works at the main pool. The main pool gets very, very crowded with day pass attendees. Again, I highly recommend upgrading with a stay so that you have access to the very very nice amenities. There is a restaurant, called Long Shadow, and I'll have a separate review for that. Overall, this was a wonderful and great trip.

Vieja promos is legit!…read more As many times as I have seen the Viejas promo flyers in my mailbox I have always tossed them. But this time I said let me give it a try. Viejas has a pretty good reason to stop by on the weekends in August 8-9and you don't have to spend a dime. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., they're giving away a different piece of a bedroom set at the Promotional Center. So far, I've picked up the U.S. Polo queen-size sheets, comforter, and bamboo pillows. Next week is the plush throw--and everyone needs a good throw. Keep it on the couch, toss it in the car for winter, or bring it out when you're sitting around a bonfire. The giveaway itself is simple: bring your casino card and ID, let them scan them, pick up your item, and keep it moving. No purchase required. Now, there is one catch: self-control. If you walk into a casino like a kid walking into a candy store and suddenly the cards and machines start calling your name, that "free" comforter might become a very expensive comforter. As for the quality, I've actually been using everything. The sheets have been great during these hot nights warm enough with the A/C running but still cool enough when it's off. The comforter is incredibly soft without being overly fluffy, and it works nicely with my duvet. The bamboo pillows are light and airy. This review is mostly for the Viejas hotel as they have two on the property. I was offered a early check in which I was happy about and the gal in the front asked if I wanted the tower that faced the outlets or the tower that faced the parking garage. Naturally I picked not looking at the parking garage but as I settled in and put my bathing suit on I realized I had to walk through the casino with all my stuff and not too many clothes on that I asked if they would move me. They gladly did and again a room was available, thank you for that. The first thing I noticed when I entered was that there wasnt enough light and nothing was automatic. The curtains were hard to open and close because chairs and tables were in front of it and all the lights had to be switched on and off which was a little annoying for me. The elevators were slow but there was always housekeeping in the hallway if I needed any extra coffee or water and they were all really nice. You also couldnt log into your netflix or other streaming services which was a bummer. They did even have a cucumber lemon water in the lobby which was really refreshing as well. The pool was nice and had a DJ on the weekend but there was no service and no food as well. Just a walk up bar that was closed on Monday when I went, On sunday I did come down in my regular clothes to sit in a "cabana" for a moment when I was rudley asked to move as it was for reservations. I did see a reservation sign on the same bed the day before and it wasnt on there on Sunday so I thought it was ok to sit but the guy working there who didnt seem to like his job let me know he cant have me sitting there. I think next time they should just leave the reserved signs on there so there is no confusion and or just let someone sit if the pool is not even busy anyway. I did need the light to work so the lighting part cut my work time and they had robes and no slippers. Hopefully next time I stay it will be more available. I did win at bingo so overall I left pretty satisfied :)

It's against the ADA requirements- Q. Can hotels assign designated rooms for guests with service animals? A. No. A guest with a disability who uses a service animal must be provided the same opportunity to reserve any available room as other guests without disabilities. They may not be restricted to "pet-friendly" rooms. As for her flimsy excuse about the wildlife even though I assured her we follow the service dog rules of bathing her before trips and keeping her on a close leash. She never has barked EVER. We have never heard her voice! She was trained to not chase or even look at other animals she turns away. She is a well trained service dog from two well know legitimate organizations and is licensed. Even though by law we don't have to show her I offered to show Nan the CA service dog license and her training paperwork and card my husband carries showing who trained her and that she is allowed in ambulances and hospitals too. I explained all the tasks that she does to help my husband with his hearing loss and explained why we wouldn't allow her to ever be close to wildlife for her safety too. All in all Nan went on and on about how she had to close off the cabins before and after the dates because of covid and aerosols and the cost of insurance, the cost of doing business so it appears as if she used the excuse of wildlife and bad past experiences with people lying about pets being service animals to make us pay more by booking the larger pet friendly cabin. I kept saying my husband's service dog is not a pet and she wouldn't listen. 27 minutes on the phone I listened to her discriminate against my husband before asking one more time if since she was insisting we stay in the large pet cabin with the 3 beds we don't need could she at least just charge us the cost of the strawberry cabin since we aren't supposed to be penalized with increased charges because of my husband's disability and she said No. So I finally said well I'm going to report you and hung up. I did double check just in case there was a change in the last few weeks but there wasn't. I called the CA state park in Julian and spoke with the ranger which is the same wildlife, same forest as Nans property and they assured me that service dogs are still allowed in cabins there AND even on trails. He assured me that my husband's service dog would not interfere with the deer under her cabin at all!!! That the people staying in the cabins and even her 6 cats roaming the property could interfere more. Her excuse was a flimsy way to try to extort more money out of us. Maybe someone who was trying to pass a pet off as a service dog would have been fine with this since she does have no pets on her listings BUT a legitimate well trained service dog is NOT a pet and we know the law and we are proud of the amazing job the dog does that is potentially life saving. It's sad we are missing out what appears to be a cute cabin but I'm glad we aren't monetarily supporting disabled discrimination.

This is truly one of the most amazing cabin stays we have experienced in years. There is…read moreabsolutely nothing offensive about this property, not even a hint. The hosts, Chuck and Nan, live close by, and make themselves available, but are not doting. They have carefully crafted this cabin, a true labor of love, to be enjoyed by guests. Less than ten minutes to town, but you feel like you're out in the country, away from everything. Stellar A+ views, comfortable furnishings, a wood-burning stove as the centerpiece, with all the amenities for cooking, relaxing, and simply embracing the sense of wonder for creation and nature. Unlike any place we've stayed in Julian, where we've been coming for New Years for the past decade. Highly recommend!
