This is an odd listing. The store that everyone here is reviewing is actually and ANTIQUE MALL, not the self storage that is next door. I REALLY like this antique mall. It's HUGE and well laid out, with isles in line producing a natural flow for your shopping experience. There are a couple of booths that are over priced, but for the most part, booths are well priced and merchandise is either unique, hard to find or old. Staff is friendly and helpful. Check out went smoothly even though several people were ahead of me. I'll be back! read more

This place is absolutely HUMONGOUS! I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer size when I entered. There are good deals to be found if you have the time and stamina to walk this entire place. I barely nicked the surface in 3 hrs, when I gave up. They did have some polish pottery for a decent price and other general garage sale items that you may not generally see at antique malls. This is more of an indoor garage sale than an antique mall, and it does say so on the doors :) But there are several booths that truly have antiques, I saw Van Briggle pottery, Nazi memorabilia, Mexican artifacts and more... If you have pets and care for rescues organizations please visit the corner booth. The vendor is an older gentleman that has everything and anything for pets in his booth. He shares his profits with several shelters across town and by buying from him you are helping rescuing animals too. A win-win. read more

These people refused to help my friend retrieve personal and sentimental belongings when her storage unit was purchased by them (she arranged new payment too late). These items (most of them) had no resale value, only sentimental, including items belonging to her late father. She left numerous notes and offered money. They dumped her belongings in the dumpster behind the store and offered everything else to my friend (who is an amazing person with a sick mother) only if she could come up with $5000 in two days. These are not decent human beings. They exploit others' hardship for profit. read more

I didn't even know this place existed until I found an antique dresser on Craigslist that I wanted to see. I called from my place in Centennial to see if it was still there because it was an hour drive for me. Michelle checked and said yes then put it on hold without even asking. That was great! I got down there and Michelle took me to the unit and explained the process of how each booth is it's own vendor. I bought the dresser and will go down there more often. They even loaded it for me and took off the mirror too as part of the deal. Great place! read more

Huge to say the least, all indoor. Individual booth style setup. Each booth or vendor seems to adhere to the facility guidelines as the vendors booths were very neat and stylishly decorated with their wares. Prices were a bit high but not outrageous. Merchandise available crosses all elements of one man's junk is another's treasure. There is also many artisans works of art available, amazing works of art. It's a visual overload, very stimulating, so just take your time browsing. Many items are just pure cheap reproductions, knock off, but there are items that "catch your eye" that are a true treasure. By the way, none of the vendor booths are staffed by a representative, so no haggling. I miss that part of antique shopping, even if I save only $1, I love to haggle. Here you just take your item to the front register and pay the price marked. Plenty of parking at this facility. Enjoy shopping. read more

I could spend a month in this place and not see it all. Huge variety, great prices, easy access and lots of parking. Plan to spend a few hours here because there are about 75 vendor booths that are huge with loads of goodies! Awesome experience. read more

They advertise over 400 dealers. However, since there are no restrictions on merchandise, over half are full of new garbage, and another 30% have truly silly prices. With that said, there is some great stuff, and some real bargains. Look for the "garage sale " booths. Those folks actually want to sell their stuff. Despite finding some deals, it took so long, my time would have been better spent elsewhere. read more

This place is listed on Yelp as a storage place; Its not. Its a very large antique mall and a section thats like a table top flea market/garage sale. If you are looking to shop, bring a truck, no joke. Prices are mostly reasonable. However, a couple of dealers are out of their minds. There are tons of locked cases, jewelry, furniture, antique furniture, lamps, art, and everything else. They are friendly and knowledgable but not interested in shipping , So, don't ask LOL. However, I encourage everyone to ask them until they do start. I would have spent so much money there if they would have. What I thought was funny is that they provide shopping carts like in a grocery store so you can just throw everything in your basket . read more

I would have to say this place is pretty cool, the prices are not too bad and the variety of nick nacks is substantial. The part that stood out to me the most is the very clean and up to date bathrooms! I also bought an old mechanical camera for about 20$ under any price on eBay, it was almost a steal. read more

I never walk away empty handed like the baby grand piano I didn't need but could not resist sale price. Hubby really wants the English Pay Phone and safe he saw walking in the front door! Took grand-daughter and she loaded up on stuff for her fairy gardens. I love checking out each booth, so it is an all day excursion, which I sorely needed after months in captivity from Covid-19 lock-down. Definitely our favorite of all the antique malls in the Springs. read more

As a shopper, I would give this place 4 stars. As a former vendor I would give it 2, hence the 3-star rating. If you are thinking about selling there, I'd definitely read this. I'll talk about both experiences. Before I was a vendor I was a shopper going back to their days at the old location off of Dublin. I preferred that store as it was at the time because it wasn't as big as say the American Classics Marketplace. As far as the Garden of the Gods location, it's huge and each time I shopped there I'd spend about 2 hours before realizing I hadn't even covered half of the store. As a shopper, the staff was always friendly, the store is well lit, has an open feel to it and the restrooms are like something you would find in a nice hotel lobby. As a shopper, the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is just that I preferred the size of their former location. Despite the size, when I decided to take a shot as a vendor, I still preferred this location over any of the other places in town of its kind. American Classics is also huge, but has a crowded and dark feel to it and some of the other smaller places seemed too small and rarely had booths available to rent. That said, I was probably a bit fooled in some of my assumptions that led me to renting a booth at the Garden of the Gods Willowstone. I assumed that since nearly every time I'd pass by the store, the parking lot seemed about half full. So it seemed like it was always busy. After becoming a vendor, I soon figured out that the majority of the cars were those of fellow vendors and the staff. I spent about a year as a vendor there and only three times had months where my sales exceeded my booth rental. That of course doesn't include time spent collecting items for my booth, cleaning them up and taking to the store on a weekly basis. I ended up lasting nearing a year because as many other vendors I talked with said, you would always think, "okay, surely next month things will pick up." Granted, the fact that I would stay based my my optimism wasn't the fault of Willowstone, but I do believe that is why people tend to stay longer than they should. Some may say certain vendors didn't have a good inventory, bad prices or whatever- but when most of the people I talked to had the same complaint, it became apparent that very FEW vendors turn a worth while profit. As a shopper, I mentioned the store was HUGE, and perhaps that is also the problem. People simply don't have the time to cover it all- that and definitely the lack of foot traffic.... so..... ....as another reviewer noted, I too became dissatisfied with the lack of advertising. When we moved in I was told that they take care of advertising. I should have asked more questions as to what exactly they do to advertise. In all my time as a customer and vendor, I recall actually seeing a TV ad twice. Granted they could be advertising in places and at times that I may have missed something on the radio or TV, but again talking with other vendors, we all often came to the conclusion that their simply wasn't much advertising being done. Not knowing what their lease or mortgage is on that building and their cost to operate, and the differing costs of rent for the 400 or so booths, tables and display cases, it's hard to figure what they actually bring in profit wise each month. Since rent can range from $40 to around a thousand on some booths, but with the majority being maybe in the 200-400 per month range, the amount made per month on rent alone could very well be in the $90-$100,000 range. Which to me should mean they can afford to advertise and do sales more often (I only saw 3 store-wide sales in my time, one lasting a weekend and the other 2 just single day sales). The female staff was for the most part nice. The women working there were always pleasant and would say hello and engage in small talk often. Never met the owner(s). However, while I was there as a vendor there were 3 guys who were the "muscle" of the staff. One, Ross, was always friendly, helpful and talkative. Ross was great. The other two, not so much. But again, the female staff and Ross, were always excellent! Finally, security. Not that there seemed to be a huge issue with items walking out of the store, but every vendor I had conversations with over my time there had AT LEAST one item disappear, never to be found. Often, these weren't items that could simply be slipped into a purse or pocket. Sometimes items are misplaced by customers and do eventually find their way back to the right booth. But, some items never do. A very simple solution would be to give some person a job, heck at minimum wage, to stand at the door to check receipts when people leave. Places like Sam's club do that with each and every person that walks out the door. Granted, pocketed items can still sneak out, but I think if potential thieves know they are going to have to pass by a "security" type person at the front door, they may think twice. read more

What a massive place! Make sure you have sturdy walking shoes on before taking on this warehouse full of treasures. Great finds, unique pieces. A little of everything. Cashiers are fast and friendly. Shopping carts are in abundance. The lighting in the store is great! No dark places anywhere. I will go again and again. read more

Today had to be the worst customer service experience to date. The manager at Willowstone treated my husband horribly. We wanted to rent a 10x20 unit there a few months ago, but they didn't have one available so they offered two 10x10s for the same price, so we agreed. Last month when we paid they made a mistake and didn't charge enough, they called me later and said I could pay the difference at any time. So today I went in with the money for the month and what was owed because of there mistake. First, my husband was told last month wasn't paid at all, so he went to the car to get the receipt. When he went back in, they tried to charge two late fees for last month because there are two units. When he explained that we only wanted one unit originally but it wasn't available we shouldn't have to pay 2 separate late fees. The manager said that they did us a favor and we didn't need to rent a unit there at all. I couldn't believe how rude this woman was towards my husband. Willowstone made the mistake, yet decided to treat my husband like he was beneath them. read more
