Valerie of Will's Home Decorating frequently works with the contractor we've selected for our kitchen and bathroom renovation project. I had never worked with an interior designer before and our project is on a VERY tight budget. I explained to Valerie over the phone what our project entails, our concerns and needs for assistance, and my further concerns about costs for her services would stretch our budget beyond the breaking point. She was so understanding and reaffirming over the phone and offered to come out and speak with us about our concerns at a bit of a reduced rate to allay my concerns about the cost of the consultation. We agreed upon a price for her time (on a Saturday morning, no less) and anticipated talking with her and our contractor for about an hour. She arrived on time and provided us with tips and ideas well beyond the initial concerns I had initially expressed to her over the phone. Over 2 hours later, Valerie had helped to translate some of our ideas to our contractor and to set us off on the right path for a number of design decisions (paint colors/tones, closet area design, tile and grout options, you name it - she was full of great ideas). Valerie was exceptionally helpful with her counsel and very accommodating to our financial situation. We cannot thank her enough for her time and guidance. If all of Will's employees share Valerie's work ethic, knowledge and pleasant demeanor, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone undertaking a home improvement project of any scale. read more

i wish i could do zero stars horrible horrible horrible service!!!!!!! if you want two old people to get mad at your because you dont know enough about pain this is your store then. i walked in to ask about a color match the lady ann asked me one question is this the color and i said yes because the name was written on the lid she went ahead and started mixing within a 30 sec interaction..i accidentally gave her the wrong color for paint and apologized she walked away to the furniture side where this man came to the back got smart and said "well if someone asks you a question you gotta answer it correctly" i was so shocked i was in the store max 3 minutes i reply i didnt even know she was mixing paint she didmt tell me anything she ask one question and turned around at pressed a button i didnt get asked what finish, how many do i need nothing. not my fault she does whatever she wants. had she asked me and stood to actually converse before pressing buttons that wouldnt have happened. i replied back to the man saying "i had no idea she was even mixing paint" he said "well if you think im going to mix a custom color for you after you couldnt answer the question correctly youre wrong, next time answer correctly no were stuck with a $60 gallon of paint" how am i supposed to know no one asked me anything about color, finish, how many i need nothing she just said is this the name and i said um i guess i didnt even say yes. i wanted her to open the can to see the color and she didnt she just read and started mixing . the way they both just lectured me was gross. dont go in there you wont be helped if you dont know it all like they clearly think they do. disgusting service -0 stars if possbile. the store is tiny, super dirty i looked passed that bc they are a bm dealer but never again. super outdated as well read more

It was great working with a small business - with people who really care about your needs, are extremely knowledgeable about their products, and are enthusiastic about the work. Valerie came to our house and helped us pick out Hunter Douglas blinds (which turned out to be cheaper than the ones I had priced at Home Depot and Lowe's). With her decorating experience, she also helped us with curtains and custom made shutters for our kitchen. After this experience, i will come to Wills again- maybe next time for help with carpets. The man has a gift for color and matching it to any sample you bring to the store. Yesterday he and his sister, Interior Decorator Valerie and their employee, Alex delivered a Queen Anne recliner I had reupholstered and a large rug for my living room. This is, quite simply, a great store. It's not a cheap store, but they sell quality products, and it's a local store, which I prefer to patronize where I can. Michael is great at helping with color selection and choosing the right kind of paint for the job. They only sell Benjamin Moore paints - again, not cheap, but it's a high quality paint that will last for a long time. Michael and Valerie, the owners, are the nicest people to do business with. I have purchased beautiful wallpaper from Will's, had a chair reupholstered, and carpet installed in my family room. Earlier this summer, I purchased a condo for income property. I went to Will's and asked Michael for suggestions on paint colors. He suggested a color that I would never have considered. I went with his recommendation and the place is beautiful!! I had never used Benjamin Moore paints but now that is all I will use. I had wall to wall carpet put in the condo. From the time I ordered the carpet to the time the carpet was installed, I was kept informed. Will's is a place that you should consider when doing any project. What I really like about Will's is that they will work with you within your budget and without compromising quality. They also don't mind sharing design tips!! I was planning on painting part of the first floor of my house, and spend a lot of time going to the big box store trying to get some help on what type of paint, colors and so on since this was going to be a DIY project. After no luck with these stores, I did some research online and decided I wanted to use Benjamin Moore paint due to the many positive reviews.
