I fully expected to leave a voicemail, but to my surprise the owner actually answered the phone. He was extremely polite, and I thanked him for taking my call. I mentioned my friend's referral and asked if there were any current specials. He ended up giving me a great deal and followed up the very next day with an installation date that worked perfectly for both of us. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, were very clean, efficient, and communicated with me throughout the entire job. I appreciated his personal outreach, and was gracious enough to give them another chance. During the "2nd Chance Visit", his carpet estimator was incredibly rude to my female tenant, made it seem like he was doing her a favor to show-up, and verbally CURSED AT MY FEMALE TENANT. She became afraid and asked the carpet estimator to leave because she felt unsafe. I respect & appreciate the OWNER for trying to make things right, but if this is the caliber of employee that his company hires, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. It is 1,000% UNACCEPTALBE for a service provider that has been invited into someone's home to curse at a woman. UNACCEPTABLE. District Floor Depot WILL NOT be getting my business, and I hope that no consumer supports this type of behavior by doing business with them. The binding is perfect. Fast forward to today. We have decided to add a closet in the carpeted basement. I called Chris to ask how to cut back the carpet for the construction. He responded with written instructions and a diagram on how to pull back the carpet with no cutting and an offer to come back and reinstall it when the construction project is finished.
