It's hard to fully recommend Econize. They speak a good game, but when it came down to doing good work, at a reasonable price point, AND on time they came up short. They were experiencing significant supply chain issues. Took over 3 months to complete a project in a brand new less than one mile away from them condo. They had to schedule (or reschedule) several visits to my place because they didn't bring or have the supplies. They were consistently late to their appointments. If you don't work from home, expect to have to take significant time off in order to work around their schedule. For the high cost, one should expect better service. The team (Steve and Kieran) arrived on time, were careful to keep our house clean, installed a beautiful closet in a couple of hours, and cleaned up afterwards (including vacuuming). They were pleasant, cordial and efficient. Our doberman was quite vocal with Steve but he took it in stride. Communication with the office manager was excellent. It is a closet we enjoy every day!! I was getting a lot of quotes to have my walk in and coat closet renovated. The first company i went to get a quote from was closet America, and they were frankly awful. Not only were they horribly expensive, but they took absolutely forever to get me a quote (who has time to sit there for 2+ through their presentation of how they're the best?!). They are proud to admit they're the most expensive, and then they move onto the used car salesman tactics of 'let me ask my manager' and 'if we go any lower than that we'll be taking money out of our employees pockets' and 'if you order today we'll give you 30% off!' typical pressure tactics. I said thank you and asked them to leave. That's when I found Econize! They were extremely respectful of my time, and showed me a 3D mock up of my closets within minutes. They offered an extremely reasonable price (less than half of what closet America quoted for 1 closet). Once I hired them for the work, they showed up perfectly on time, exactly on the day we agreed on, and their workers were very respectful and left my house clean. I found this place because of the excellent reviews, and I'm excited to now share my own fantastic experience with Econize. Anthony came out to measure our space and draw up some ideas based on what we wanted. It was great to get to see such a realistic image of what could be installed in our space, and he did quickly and efficiently. He walked us through our options and provided great insight when we weren't sure about what would work best for the space. Anthony was friendly and upfront about all the work and the price. It was easy to make some changes over email and get updated designs. We went ahead with three different projects, and the installation team was exceptional. We live in an apartment building with a busy loading dock that crews often find challenging. I've never seen any crew work as well with my building's loading dock supervisor. They did the work quickly and it looked great. It's been a couple weeks now and we still love the final product. Getting our existing closets measured and the plans for the new closets drawn out was a quick and easy process. I was very impressed with the 3D renditions of each closet; it really helped me see what it would look like. Installation was just as smooth. The best part is that now I have wonderful, functional closets... and at a reasonable price too! My only complaint was in having to find a handyman to demo the old closets. We had the Econize people come out to our condo in the Spring of 2017 to help us plan for a Murphy bed and wall storage unit in our guestroom. They came out, did the measurements and helped us to collaboratively plan a great piece. Unfortunately, my wife and I were not ready to move forward so we pushed back executing on the plans until late summer 2017. Once we called and were ready to move forward Econize was quick to act. We were scheduled with an installation appointment in less than two weeks. The install team showed up on time for the scheduled appointment. They were super professional, taking shoes off and careful not to damage the paint / room / carpet where the install occurred. Another great job by Econize - had them come back to do built ins for our dining room. This was a huge deal - the dining room is currently a playroom to be converted to an actual dining room later with a pantry. It took a while for my husband to convince me of this idea but I am so happy we did it. It looks amazing. The quality is great. This is the second time we've used Econize for closet services. They're a GREAT company! The designers are very good, helping to customize your closets for your needs. They do NOT try and upsell you on products and are prompt, courteous, flexible and clear with their designs. The design process for 2 closet built-ins and a murphy bed/dresser combo took about 2 hours (at most). We started the process in mid-November and the materials took about 3-4 weeks to fabricate. The install happened at the end of December and took about 4 hours (8:30am - 12:30pm). The crew was professional and efficient. They also did a fantastic job of clean up! Overall I really liked them, they came out to my house to do measurements for my master closet and gave me an estimate based on my requirements. They do have a show room in Falls Church that you can see some of their systems and touch them so you can get a better feel. All of the staff were terrific and they were the top two contenders for doing my closet. Unfortunately I got a slightly better bid with a few of the other finishing features I was looking for. Purchased back in November 2015... I had been looking for a murphy bed for awhile and researched online for a long time. I knew my limitations, so putting a bed together from scratch was not on my priority. So, I was lucky to find this place on my trusted source: Yelp:) Mike provided great customer service as soon as I walked into the door to their showroom. I explained to mike the size of my place and showed him a diagram of the space. He immediately brought me upstairs to see the murphy bed model. I was impressed by the clean lines of the bed, the ease of which it was constructed to easily pull out and the price. So, after taking a look at it, we looked at examples of the types of wood and designs. So, I decided white was the choice to make my place look larger and just plain clean lines. Mike set me up with an appt for a designer to come out and do the measurements. From then on it was easy. Anthony came out a couple of days later, took measurements and asked me where i wanted the bed to be placed. The day after I was sent an email with the diagram of my place, where the bed would be placed along with an estimate. I signed the agreement and it took another couple of weeks for them to come and install. I got a reminder email about my appointment and soon thereafter, the installation guys came out. There were about 3 or 4 that came, brought the wood and within two hours, I had my bed. The guys were also so kind to and helped me unwrap my Casper bed and place it on the frame. After 5 months, I must say I'm 100% satisfied and happy. Econize was very professional, courtesy, on time and easy to work with from the beginning to the end. Oh and did I tell you that I have a lifetime warranty? BONUS!!! Glad to have found them and recommended them to my neighbor a couple of doors down who also got the same bed. I gave them a tour of mine and they got to see the functionality without even having to leave their house and see the showroom. My other neighbor is now interested in their closets, so I'll be passing along their information to her. read more

This company is a breath of fresh air! We just finished a complete home remodel - full gut job and pop up addition. It was a long process with several different contractors involved. Econize was by far the BEST company we worked with. They showed up when they said they would, they quoted us properly, and their product and installation was impeccable. The salesperson coming into my home needed to be vaccinated, not an unreasonable request for my circumstances. Well, guess what - they're sending out unvaccinated salespeople. I found out because I asked a second time when the salesperson got to my house. Dream closet. Econize helped me design this closet, and I continually referenced pictures from Houzz and was very detailed - and they worked through it with me draft after draft. They also did our butler's pantry, kitchen pantry, this little area off the kitchen which was previously wasted space, lockers for our kids and a game closet, our laundry room, and my husband's "men's sitting room". The install team was also amazing. Efficient....professional...detail oriented. And I have worked with probably 75-80 (or more) contractors on construction projects. My husband was asking today, "Do they do kitchens? We should have just had them do our kitchen because that took so long." Also - we have a house built in the 1800s. We recently rebuilt our home after a natural disaster and were determined to treat ourselves to nice his-and-her walk-in closet systems. We went to a large national chain first and were shocked at the price tag for a rather simple system. We then decided to meet with Econize after an interior designer friend recommended them. We were thrilled when they designed a system that better met our needs than the competitor's AND was about half the price. They were honest about the utility of expensive adds like led strip lighting (recommended against it), listened to our needs, and never once tried to upsell. The system was ready in a few weeks and we were able to coordinate the schedule with our contractor to have it installed at a convenient time for all. Econize was extremely careful to not damage our new floors or anything else while they installed the system. My project manager was impressed with their work too and will be recommending Econize to his future reconstruction customers.
