Alexis washed and dried my hair and it came out beautiful! He took his time and went the extra mile to give my hair bounce and body but a very good blowout. I've had experiences where if I tell other stylists I want bounce or brush curls they don't do a good blowout and my hair gets frizzy right away. Larry is the worst person ever. had an appointment at 11am for my daughter, he was late and then decided he wasn't going to do her hair because he wasn't feeling well, but he was well enough to do his 12:30pm appointment. 2021 The review from Edward P is false. I was there and heard how terrible he acted with the staff. Willy the salon owner gently asked if he may go to another manicure chair and this human lashed out and started cursing and yelling. He called staff "faggot and "gay" and threatened to kill willy. I myself and other clients called the police immediately and as I yelled I was calling the police he left. Mind you he was with his young daughter and she was scared herself. Willy stayed calm throughout this occurrence and this man terrified and demeaned us all. Calling people gay and threatening them is illegal. This was all caught on camera and we all wrote a police report. Edward, it's 2021, people are cancelled from their lives and jobs for harassing, threatening, and discriminating people. This was my second time and just as awesome as the first. I had full head highlights PERFCECT ! David is an amazing stylist and a lovely person! Truly a pleasure the time I spent there. The massage while washing my hair was a heaven Sent unexpected treat. A few personal details that made my day brighter, the front desk girl is sweet and attentive and always alert ! I was recommended by a friend in my church choir who gave rave reviews about the hair stylist named David. When I entered the salon it was very clean and well lit. I was on time and immediately met by David who took me to have my hair washed (as part of the service.) He was very friendly and asked me what I wanted. I work in a professional environment and he understood what I wanted. I call my haircut the Footloose after Kevin Bacon's character but with a shorter square tapered finish in the back. Long story short David did an amazing job and I am recommending him to all of my friends. The true test comes the day after when you are at home styling your hair. The hair is layered on top and tapered. The sideburns are angled exactly the way I like them. My very straight hair lays properly an still long enough to get the blow dryer pop...see the original footloose, you will get it!!! 2021 . Willy today our relationship with your salon ends. I have been bringing my daughter to your salon for the last 2 years and today while my daughter was was doing her hair I decided to get my nails done and mid way through my nails you tell me to get up since I don't have an appointment and someone else is here with an appointment. Calmly I decide to get up and pay for the services that my daughter obtained but I felt the owner should know I was displease with him asking me to get up mid way through the procedure .... he intended to defend himself by blaming his employees and I told him it was actually his fault because he is the owner of this company and he's asking me a paying customer to get up after I was granted services. After my statement that it was his management skills that caused the issue, Mr.Willy raised his voice at me and told me that I can't blame him for anything his demeanor was offending. It was a sad day when I found out many salons don't open on Sundays. Unfortunately, my friend had an early wedding on Sunday. I had 2.5 feet of hair and no appointment. I drove to 11 salons that day. Four were open but UNWILLING to attempt my hair. Understandably, a last minute up do on that much hair is just a headache for the hairstylist. I was beginning to think I would just need to wear my hair as is until I drove to Willy's Hair Salon & Spa. Besides the receptionist, there was only one man. He was busy dying someone's hair so I panicked. He asked me what I needed and told me to give him 30 minutes. He did this incredible up do on me in 30 minutes while the other lady's hair dye set!! I have never been able to rock an up do with my long hair as hairstylists always persuade me to leave some curls out, to facilitates their lives. I appreciate Alexis's attempt to satisfy the customer. It turned out just like the picture. Throughout the process he kept asking me if I wanted a side part, what kinds of braids, etc, etc. In other words, I had full control. To top it all of, he charged $40! I could not be happier with the experience. It's funny, I was willing to take anything and I ended up finding the best salon I've been too. This was a couple of months back. Last week I decided to cut my hair for donation. I cut 14 inches off with Claudia. I wanted to get something that would compliment my face. She merged several pictures I took. I asked for bangs and she explained how another style would best suit my face. She ensured the layers were my desired lengths and was very amiable as the rest of the staff was. *** The receptionist was not helpful at all. She told me there were no appointments until 1. When I showed up a little earlier I saw HER getting her hair done. How unprofessional!! My tip would be to make an appointment because they are very popular, with good reason. I really like my hair cut by Maggie. I told her what kind a style I wanted and she suggested a type that would look better with my fave shape. The nail lady was very nice as she did my nails. I always used a big uv light for my nails at other places and they last for at least a week the gel nails. This salon, the nail lady used a small Sally Hasen light which was so small I was not even able to fit my thumb & the light was placed on my left hand side that awkwardly I was criss crossing my arms to put my right hand under the light as she did the left hand nails. Not to mention I had my gel nails last Sunday and by wed they were already chipped. So definitely I won't be back for nails but hair yes definitely. read more

I am not sure about the hair service, but you DEFINITELY do NOT want to get your nails done there. The girl that did my mani and pedi was so rough and cut me three different times while working on my feet. She then proceeded to say "I bleed like a cow". She left me to try to get out of the high spa pedicure chair on my own (did not bother lifting my armrest or getting my purse. Then again, she didn't even put on my flip flops... i had to shimmy over to the mail table with my wet toes painted" Then she proceeded to take off my gel nails (which she did not do correctly) and then instead of letting my nails soak in water, she used a nail drill (don't know the name) attachment and used it to literally burn off my cuticles. She did this with the feet too. I even had to ask her to turn the light on at her station so she can see what she was doing. She ThEN wasn't even going to put a clear base coat prior to painting my nails. Today, a day later, all my nails hurt and the paint has already chipped and I'm taking it off and doing it myself. Oh and my cuts on my toes are very sensitive and to the point I couldn't wear closed shoes today. Oh yeah... to cut my toe nails... she used a cuticle cutter. He is great with coloring and has fixed plenty of DIY dye jobs I did during my high school years and he's great with styling - knows all the latest styles and what looks work and do not work. I had an appointment at 1pm today with Martha who I've been going to for years. I arrive at 12:30 and let the front desk girl know that I'm there. Which of course is yet another new girl who didn't know her head from her ass. I went to the restroom and when I came out there was no where to sit so I tell the girl I was in my car right in front of her and to please call me when Martha was ready for me. I noticed it was taking long so at 1:15 I checked in again and she was still busy so by 2:00 I go in again to ask why I'm still waiting and the guy at the front desk tells me I called you at 1:30 and you didn't answer which was a lie and then the owner and I use that term very loosely tells me I had to wait another 10-20 minutes because I left when I tried to explain that the girl knew where I was he said well she left to a wedding. I got upset and he's yelling in his broken English and I walked out. I will never be going back and neither will my friends and family. He is an arrogant prick and now I understand why so many staff and customers leave. Don't waste your money where you are not valued! read more

Terrible service. My daughter went for a balayage she showed Willy exactly what she wanted and she left crying of the terrible job he did to her hair. It had so many different colors I had to pay another stylist at a different salon to do a color correct and fix the mess Willy left. On the day of the service I called Willy to let him know of our disappointment and he didn't apologize to us for feeling that way instead he became insulted and upset at me the customer. The cut is always beautiful, my hair feels INCREDIBLE for days after and he always works with my face shape to make sure the haircut is flattering. Alexis cut and styled my hair today. I absolutely LOVED it. You ask and he delivers. I always wanted lots of layers throughout, but hair stylists would always say no and I would end up with plain, long layers. Alexis took my idea and gave me exactly that. He then blow dried my hair with these beautiful soft curls at the end. He's amazing!! You can tell that Alexis loves his job and is very knowledgeable about hair. Went in and asked for highlights the lady told me she could not do the highlights the color I wanted. I then told her I just want blonde highlights all over my hair and she said okay. I paid 175 for about 3 pieces of highlights I was very unhappy. I came in the next day and told her that this is not what I wanted and that I needed more highlights she then again put 4 or 5 pieces of highlights that were very unnoticeable. Super disappointed on the fact that I spent that much money and it couldn't even come out the way I would like it. Find a different place to do your hair. Do NOT come here and get a regular haircut!!!! The first time I went I had an alright job done and decided to go again since all I needed was my tips cut. The Colombian lady cut my hair and lets just say, worse haircut I have ever gotten. My hair is extremely uneven! I can not wear my hair straight down. After I told her I do not have bangs and what I do have I was trying to grow out. She decided to give me the most awkward front bangs, that I did NOT ask for. my haircut looks horrible and I do not recommend this place. Or I at least do not recommend her. This place was my biggest disappointment of this year - no exaggeration. I haven't had such awkward and upsetting service in a salon .. ever. I call before going - ask how much for a trim. I was told $20. I ask what's a good time to stop in (I work near by) to which I'm told "just come in, we'll have someone available" Awesome. I go in, mention speaking to her about 45 minutes prior, and am told to hold on. No worries, I'm not in a rush. The receptionist looked about 16 years old, and very confused. She goes to a stylist and asks her if she is busy, while pointing at me. The stylist explains she has another appointment coming, so the girl goes to the owner. (Who is cutting a gentleman's hair to the left of me.) He has watched the confusion and is getting irritated at his staff it seems, so he says that he will cut my hair. The receptionist walks me back towards the hair washing station, and gets the attention of an employee who is PAINTING HER NAILS. I kid you not, after being asked to wash my hair, the woman puts the cap on her polish bottle, and stands to wash my hair..polish still wet, not even so much as glancing at me. Fine, I won't say anything, maybe my some miracle she has just opened the nail polish and it's not still wet. Chances are unlikely, I see only two nails are done. Great. The wash was a disaster, she dug her *thankfully dry* nail into my ear, twice. The water was cold, and when I asked her to make it warmer, she replied in Spanish, with no regard for what I was saying. Fast forward a few minutes, she wraps my head in a towel, and has me go sit in the front of the salon, with a towel on my head. I literally sat in front of the entrance with a towel on my head. I haven't felt so awkward for as long as I can remember. To make matters worse, the owner shortly after starts cutting my hair, only glancing at my head - but keeping his gaze on the young receptionist. They exchanged smiles and little smirks throughout my hair cut, making me nervous as to why he isn't looking at what he's doing.....less than ten minutes later, he says 'okay, i'm done' and I look in the mirror. It's shorter than I would have liked, especially after only asking for a half inch to an inch trim, but my real issue was that he was ushering me out of the chair with a head full of wet hair.......I asked him to dry my hair, amazed that he hadn't done that automatically. He was clearly annoyed with me asking, I could tell by how he continually burned me with his hair dryer. I go to pay ? I'm told $65. $65??????? HOW, I called and was told $20!! "Well, the owner did your hair...so it's $30 because he has more experience, and the blow dry is $35..." I honestly just want to leave, and feel defeated and invisible, so I give the girl a $100, and she gives me my change. I give the owner a $5 tip, (clearly i'm too nice and looking back - I should have stood up for myself and demanded to be treated at least decent) and walk out. I realize the girl managed to short change me $10. I walk back inside, it was as if she expected me. She gave me the change and I left. I will never return. The only reason I leave two stars is because somehow he managed to not destroy my hair. I got the trim I wanted, and then some removed. read more
