Hot wax near my eyes makes me nervous but my eyebrows needed serious help so I decided to get them threaded. Abby is wonderful!! She is a perfectionist and makes sure you leave with perfect brows. I was nervous about tinting my brows because another esthetician from my past went way too dark on my brows and I was insecure for like 2 weeks. But this place was wonderful, used a light color and did 5 mins with the color timer to get a good estimate on how much my brows and skin really grab onto color. Definitely recommend! read more

I come here often and usually have a decent experience. They always take walk-ins so that a positive. They have a new woman working there and she was so bad, she has made me never want to come back here again. I have weird eyebrows, they're very different and always have been. No matter how many times I come here, every single time the person who is working on my eyebrows will say "your eyebrows are different." Yes. I know. I wish they would have suggested fixing them somehow or offered me some advice on making them similar. But no, I get the same statement every time. I have been coming here for years. Anyways, on my last visit, I came and the new woman was taking care of me. Usually when they ask you to hold I gently put my hands in the areas and they move them to where I need to press down. She wouldn't do that and continuously told me "hold" "hold" I said, "okay where" and she just kept repeating hold. Like move my hands around so I can help you... In addition, she kept stopping in the middle of the service to talk. She was talking to who I assume is the owner or manager for a long time while she was like halfway through one eyebrow and hadn't started the other. Talking about scheduling conflicts and her availability. Like what? Do that another time. Do I still "hold" during this time? Lastly, which is the most definitive reasoning as to why I will not be coming back, was that she pointed out a huge insecurity of mine for no reason. You're threading my eyebrows. Just after finishing she said, "Do you do anything for your acne?" I was so angry all I said was a frank "Yes." She then went on to ask, "What? Creams? Treatment?" I said "Yeah, I'm on a treatment with a specialist." My skin condition causes me a lot of anxiety and insecurity. I went to do my eyebrows that day because I was feeling down about myself and wanted to feel pretty and cleaned up. Thanks a lot for ruining my day. Pro tip: don't point out people's acne. It was uncalled for and you really don't know how that affects the person. Maybe if this place gets rid of her I would come back. Or maybe I'll go somewhere where they're willing to fix my "different eyebrows." read more

Abby is very knowledgeable and consistent with her work. I will not let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I cannot wax my eyebrows because I have very sensitive skin and get blisters. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Originally, I used to go to Dadeland, then Navarro to get my eyebrows done. But that changed and I ended up finding out about this place, Classic Eyebrow Threading. They used to be located in London Square but then moved to this location. It's so much closer to my house and there is never a wait. The ladies who work there are all so sweet and nice. They each do a great job threading. They also offer more than just threading ($12), but I only come here to thread my eyebrows. I am always happy with my results. This will always be my eyebrow place. read more

I really wanna give this place a 0. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded the lady at the front said the person who does the threading isn't there, but she can wax them for me. Well long story short she waxed off half my eyebrow. And tried to say my eyebrows were already like that. No lady I had eyebrows when I came there. I was in the area for work so I gave this place a try. I been growing them out just to get threaded because I love how sleek and sharp the lines can be with threading. Positive part is I was able to walk in and be serviced. But.. the negatives are that they weren't as great as I was hoping like other places. I could tell the girl was new because she kept looking for approval on her work. Don't get me wrong we all start somewhere and I figured they will grow back if anything. The other lady did go back and fix them at the end but.. the lines aren't sharp, they just aren't up to par for threading for me. Big negative is.. they hurt my poor eyelid. I do t get them waxed because of the burning possibility, they scraped and took my poor skin off and it hurts even today the day after. I don't think I will go back. read more

Came here because I wanted to get some henna done and was recommended by a friend. The first time it came out great! I started getting my eyebrows threaded here and I've done henna twice. My skin is too sensitive to wax so I tried it and loved it. A little painful but better than waxing. Maleeha is so nice and her work is great with the henna. First and Last time. They had a sign on door stating they'd be back in 30 mins; I waited close to 50 mins. How can you be gone 45-50 mins when you just opened at 10am? (I arrived at 11:20 am). When I did get my brows done, probably the most painful than ever (I've had them done for several years by others). Not sure why she slows down when pulling, but you gotta be faster. I'm sure there are others in West Kendall that can do a better job. read more

I usually go to dadeland for my eyebrow threading , but was feeling lazy and did not want to drive out of my way, and of course Yelp was there to help out . As previously mentioned in other comments , it is hard to find , it's in the beauty mall in the second floor. The suite is very small and there is only one employee working. I am unaware if they take reservations, I was a walk in. I waited for the other two women to be seen and then it was my turn. The threading was precise , and less painful than in other places . I had the upper lip and the eyebrows done for 18$. I will def be a returning costumer read more

They accept walk-ins which are always convenient and she takes her time to make sure they're done with the upmost care. She takes into consideration how you want to style your eyebrows whether it's think or thin. She allows you to check her work and fix or change anything you'd like. Came here for the first time to get regular eyebrow threading. Was not greeted upon entry and after I said I was here for threading, she got up (Only one person was present, sitting in a chair when I arrived) and told me to take a seat. I instructed her on what I wanted (clean-up, keep them full) and she completed the service as requested without speaking. Fair price but service was definitely lacking. read more

Great service and great product!! I'm visiting family in the area and I'm totally spoiled by eyebrow threading for $7 bucks a pop in NYC. I was referred to Peter of London and almost passed out when I found out their eyebrow threading STARTS at $25!! Wait, WHAT? That's the same price as a wash-n-set!!!! So I did my research and discovered this amazing place with one lonely review (Miami, y'all have to start Yelping). The two ladies in the small shop were super sweet and did my bushy, crazy eyebrows to perfection. Now, I have some cray cray brows -- so anyone who can tame these bad boys are truly talented! They charge $10, which is a lot less cheaper than other places I was inquiring about. I went on a Friday around noon and there was about 3 people in front of me. I wasn't waiting longer than 10 mins. I don't know if ownership changed somewhere along the way, but the quality has declined drastically over the last 8-9 years. I am a licensed massage therapist with nearly 20 years of experience, so I do know the difference between proper bodywork and poor technique. In the early years, this place was a great find and very convenient to where I live. But over time the staff changed, and with that, so did the quality. After several disappointing sessions, I stopped coming. Every now and then I would give it another chance, hoping to have an experience like before--and every time I left frustrated, with no relief, and upset that I wasted both my time and money. Last night was the confirmation that this establishment has lost my business forever. The therapist who worked on me clearly did not know what she was doing. Her nails were too long, her touch was rough, and she repeatedly left the room during the session for no apparent reason. She only worked one side of my upper body, and when I politely asked her to address the other side she insisted she already had. After voicing my concerns, the massage did not improve--in fact, it felt like she became irritated and intentionally applied pressure in a way that caused pain, not relief. I woke up feeling significantly worse than when I walked in. This was NOT normal post-deep tissue soreness. I am now having to get acupuncture to reduce the neck inflammation she caused by massaging toward the cervical spine rather than away from it, as well as inflammation in my forearms and hands due to improper directional technique. These are basic fundamentals that any trained massage therapist should know. It's possible there are competent therapists here--but after my experiences, along with my husband's and a close friend's negative experiences over the years, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who actually understands or needs proper massage therapy. I'm not writing this to attack the business--this is constructive. If you want loyal, returning customers, then the therapists must be properly trained and evaluated. Not once in 13 years have I ever been asked about medical history, injuries, or allergies--basic questions expected in any professional massage setting to ensure client safety. I'm officially done with this establishment, and I hope this review encourages improvement for the sake of future clients.
