Don't waste your money. Wilson Bros. does not stand by its guarantee. I received a pair of Star Jasmine plants as a gift last June 2020, they arrived yellow. I immediately called customer service and sent photos. The plants never grew a single leaf. After months of emails with no help, the plants are brown, dead and they will not replace them. read more

I had the Wilson Brothers come to my house to re do my lawn and landscaping because I had just remodeled my house/put on an addition and my yard looked like crap. It was full of weeds and my garden areas were not flattering at all. Donnie came out and I told him in a broad sense what I wanted and he came up with some design ideas and a lot of structural things that I had no idea about. They planted new sod, new shrubs (hydranga's, azelias, bamboo (for a natural privacy fence) and some other stuff I don't know what it is but complements everything very well. They also put in stone borders and a paver stone pathway to my back deck. Anyway, it has been a month since his team came out and laid the sod, put in plants, etc in my garden areas and have completely renovated my lawn. My house now has unbelievable curb appeal! His guys were professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. He also followed up with me on the care of the plants and sod to ensure it's health. Their prices were fair (even cheap in my opinion for how things turned out!) for what they did and I can not recommend them highly enough. read more

I contacted Wilson Brothers Landscaping for help with two problems: (1) I had a bad erosion problem on the side of my house because water from the backyard would rush down the side and wash away so much soil that roots from the trees were exposed; and (2) I wanted to improve the landscaping in the front of the house to create some curb appeal while making it "senior friendly" and easier to maintain. Keith Carpenter visited my property twice to answer all of my questions and advise what could be done. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the proposal that he gave me. The erosion problem was solved by installing a drain box and 4" corrugated pipe that collects the runoff in my backyard and takes it through a dry creek bed that they installed that now connects my backyard to my front. My property front was improved by taking out all of the old, high maintenance plants and replacing them with lower maintenance and colorful new shrubs that look great with the front of my house; new sod was installed to reduce the size of the island and fill in where it had been neglected; and pine straw to finish everything off. Keith and his crew worked hard on the project for nearly a week and as I watched them picking and placing all of those heavy rocks by hand for the dry creek bed, I was grateful that Wilson Brothers had the right people on the job. This rating is not in re of their lawn service, because we never got that far. I sent TWO quote requests for lawn service/maintenance via Yelp. They were both shortly followed up by telephone calls confirming my request and obtaining my address and telephone number. I did not receive a return call after they were supposed to come out and do the first consultation. I then scheduled a second appointment for anytime after 1700 yesterday. Once again, that is as far as we got. If they came out, I don't know, because there was NOT a follow-up call. If this happens once, you can sum it up as human error, but twice and it's time for my neighbors and I to continue our quest for reliable lawn care. read more

They came out to my property on August 15, and I emailed them the information they needed on the 17th. They responded back to my email on August 21 promising a proposal but it's been Close to three weeks since the initial contact and we haven't heard anything. This has been a quite disappointing experience. They are obviously not respectful of my time. We spoke to several landscaping companies, big scale and small scale, all of which were able to get back to us within a week or less with a written proposal. We have decided to use another company. Hopefully their other clients were treated better. read more

Perfect! The project manager, Donnie Brooks, and the various crews were extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and friendly. We saved for a long time to be able to do this major landscape project, and I can't say enough about how happy we are. The project had some demanding aspects to it, but Donnie and his crews were able to address them without any problems. This was a large ($22K) project. Remove 30+ large pines, many perilously close to the house. Fortunately, this was finished just before the strong winds from Irma hit. After a weeks delay due to power outages and road closures in the county, Keith and his crew got back on schedule and did a really great job. Planted 30+ new azaleas, replaced a rangy privet hedge with new ligustrum, reworked irrigation to provide 2 new drip system for plantings, removed and replaced a RR tie bulkhead and steps, filled several sinkholes (3 dump trucks worth) and regraded and over-seeded, installed new drainage improvements. The work was completed in a professional manner and for a fair price. The crews were respectful of existing landscape and left a very light footprint considering the amount of heavy equipment needed for these jobs. We would definitely use them again for future projects. read more

I recently ordered 100 Gray Owl Junipers from Wilson Bros located in McDonough. Immediately upon arriving, I was greeted by a team of professionals that quickly loaded and secured my purchase. I next was met by the General Manager, Stephen Whatley who walked me thru exactly how to plant the Junipers. Stephen's expertise far exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for nursery and garden products, search no more. I failed to mention I drove 100 miles from North GA to purchase these plants. Well worth the drive! I'm a landscaper and I called for 20 10 to 12 foot trees I'm interested in purchasing they didn't say hello when they answer the phone they put me directly on hold and then the person picks up the phone and then hangs it up thanks a lot Wilson Brothers you're horrible. read more

It certainly has not gotten any better. This one time I asked them to pick up the grass clipping to help my grass recover from Pao Annua weeds and they left my lawn a complete mess. Nevermind the weeds they left behind. I sent an email on Monday with no response from the company. Then I left the actual worker a text with the pictures of my lawn. He told me that he would come back out and make it right. It is now 6:01pm on Wednesday and my yard is a mess still. This is unbelievable service. (Yes the guys are very polite but not very good at their job.) I wish I could attach pictures to this. read more

Wilson Brothers used to have such good customer service, but I'm sad to say, as the prices have gone up, customer service has gone down. Their employees used to seem friendly and genuinely eager to help. They used to have people who would ask if you needed assistance in finding anything, rather than hanging out inside the shop, chatting with each other and and avoiding customer interaction. They used to have people who would write down your prices on form, so you could just take your 'order form' in to pay - which was great, since they don't have any small carts or wagons. They used to have people who would offer to help you take your purchases out to load. Now, I feel the customer service I get at Home Depot is just as good. When I went today, I mentioned this to the cashier and she apologized profusely - then stood there and watched as I struggled to carry my four large plants out with no offer of help from her, nor the other 5 employees who were milling about inside the building. I hate to see a small, family owned business lose its charm, personality, and local flavor, especially when I try really hard to support local business. Sad. read more
