Extremely unprofessional handling of my care…read more I was scheduled to have my permanent crown seated, and 15 minutes before my appointment I received a call canceling it because the insurance claim was still showing as "processed." The problem is that the office waited weeks to submit the claim, something I had already noticed and monitored on my insurance portal. My tooth was already prepped, yet insurance verification and billing were clearly not handled in a timely manner. Canceling a patient's appointment minutes before it's supposed to begin due to internal billing delays is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for a patient's time. This situation was completely avoidable with proper administrative follow-through and communication. I've lost confidence in this office's organization and patient care as a result.

This is her dentist so she called and left a message that she needed to see somebody. She then waited the whole day and never heard back. My mom does have memory problems, so I decided to call myself. I left an urgent message at 4:55 on Thursday, and three more before 10:00 on Friday. I also called every 15 minutes between 10:00 and 11:00. No one picked up and no one has called me back. I recommend you find another dentist. UPDATE: On Monday morning my frantic calls from Thur evening and Fri monring were returned, and an appointment was scheduled for Tuesday. At that point my mom had already found another dentist, but I did want to be fair in this review. I cannot speak to whether this is a good dentist or not, but still do not thnk they are the right place to go in an urgent situation.

Highly recommend this dentist for several reasons. He can do it all , extractions, root canals,…read morebridges etc. I came in with an absess tooth that had previously been crowned and then had a root canal. Although the exam did hurt a bit, understandably so, Dr. Tschida apologized for having to put me through the discomfort. He was quite knowledgeable as to the cause of the absess and he recommended the tooth be removed. It was to his financial gain to do another root canal but I knew he was recommending the best option for me. His exam was free and only charged me $15.00 for the xray. I was given an estimate for the extraction and was pleasantly surprised, bec I was expecting to have to pay out the whaazoo. His staff were all very nice and did everthing to make this visit as pleasant as possible. I waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room before being called back which was pretty good bec I was 10 minutes early. The receptionist told me I could pay the $15 when I came back for the extraction and didn't need to pay for it in advance. Wow! in my neck of the woods its all about the money. This dentist is kind,caring and recommended the best treatment for me at a reasonable price. Can it get any better than that?

My daughter needed a procedure; her canine teeth are not coming in. Our insurance for this procedure was a mess. One location they sent, it took three visits over 2 months only to have them say they could not do it. Our ortho recommended Moffett and I am so glad we went. First visit one week, procedure the next. My daughter said it was the best dentist she has been to. Something I appreciated, because they did not take our insurance, they gave us a discount. This made a big difference. A place that cares about their patients enough to make up for the insurance companies not caring is a place you should go. Love Moffett. They are our go to place for oral surgery.

Consult in February, told insurance would cover 80%, it would take 4-6 weeks for the insurance process. Months later in June, received a text that I'm responsible for 100%. They will not allow me to reschedule in order for insurance verification again, and are gladly telling me a deposit is being forfeited. They do not have anyone doing billing and refuse to contact the insurance company. They state it is my responsibility to ensure the insurance covers the procedure. This office, including the receptionist, office manager, and Dr. Moffett simply regurgitate repeatedly what their policy is, with no care for the patients. Run and stay away from Dr. Moffett and his office! Any issues will result with Dr. Moffett calling you and simply end in you being yelled at. I've never been called asinine by a doctor until this morning. BEWARE, you as the patient will be responsible for contacting and ensuring your insurance will be coving any work done here. The opposite of how all doctors offices are run.

I was greeted by Office Manager Steve Campbell and knew immediately that I had made the right choice. His customer service and professionalism are a real credit to Aspen Dental. From Stephanie looking up my insurance plan to the hygienist, X-ray technician and dental assistant, I became aware that I was in the hands of a professional staff. Perhaps the most rewarding experience was the time that Dr. Merchi took to explain with X-rays and plaster casts the complete procedure I was ready to receive. Stay away! Keep your family away! Do not trust this place for anything!!…read more Aspen Dental is one of the biggest scams I have seen in years, and this office in Sun City is awful! First of all, my 73-year-old mother went in to see a dentist for an infected tooth because they claimed to accept walk-ins. After giving them her insurance information, they scheduled an appointment for her to come back. The 2nd visit was nothing more than x-rays, the doctor confirming she had an infected tooth (along with numerous other problems that they could also fix for her), and more paperwork for a loan to get all this work done. No antibiotics, no offer of anything to help her that day... nothing. Just another appointment and instructions to bring $75 as a down payment. For the third appointment, she gave them her $75, filled out even more paperwork, and was then told she gave her money to the wrong person in the office and would have to give them another $75. They refunded the original $75 after a few days, but she didn't have another $75 in her checking account so offered cash (which they would not accept). She left the office in tears, called their corporate headquarters in Chicago and asked for someone in charge to which the answering gentleman responded by hanging up on her. She tried 3 more times, was hung up on twice more, and they wouldn't even answer the fourth call. After leaving a few reviews to warn people away, my next step is to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the American Dental Association.
