We hired WIN Home Inspection to inspect a house that we plan to purchase. The company was diligent in scheduling a timely inspection, and at the same time, they organized a specialized termite inspection as part of their inspection. They evaluated all non-critical and critical elements of the house including the pool and the pool fencing. The inspection report was very thorough and even minor items were noted, which will help with correcting those items before moving in! The inspector took the time to provide recommendations on the report regarding actions necessary to correct the problems or to further maintain or service items to keep mechanical or electronic units in good condition in the future. The inspector also made a phone call to go over the report and explain the issues and suggest best course of action to resolve the critical problems or defects listed on the inspection report. The process of signing the inspection contract, paying the fees, and receiving the inspection report with pictures were all virtually/electronically done. read more

He is knowledgeable in building construction and all systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing. The inspector met us in front of the garage. He was warm, friendly and down-to-business. He set about inspecting the house right away. He crawled up into the attic checking the inner roof, heating system, etc. He turned every appliance on, having many run a full cycle. He walked around the outside of the home, checking for issues. An inspection of the roof and surroundings was completed. Following his own inspection, he took me around the home to show me problem areas. He had brought a laptop and printer from which he printed a binder summarizing problem areas with photos and explanations. He was efficient with time and scrutiny.
